Disclaimer: I own nothing mentioned in this story, (Including Harry Potter, lyrics to a song, and some other stuff) Except some random names in it.

Summary: No one knew the real Hermione. Everyone who looked thought she was the know it all. The brightest witch in the school. But under her happy exterior, she was a broken girl; her life shattered into pieces every day. No one knew that she was broken.

Authoressa: Okay, I made this story out in the end of their 6th year...Obviously not a canon story...So, yeah. Summer vacation is the next chapter. Also, this story might turn out longer than the FanFiction story because of added scenes...

Chapter 2: Never Again/ Always

Hermione was too emotional to care where she was going. It was around 9:00, but she didn’t care, she was a Head. She was allowed to be out late. She was in a dark corridor with the dim light of torches along the wall. Whenever she was upset, her feet guided her here.

I hear a voice say, \"Don\'t be so blind.\"
It\'s telling me all these things.
That you would probably hide.

Whenever she felt any kind of strong emotion, she came here. It was her resting place. The only place she could ever relax. Maybe she\'d be able to calm herself down here, like she always been able to.

Am I your one and only desire?
Am I the reason you breathe?
Or am I the reason you cry?
Always Always Always Always Always Always.
I just can\'t live without you!

She reached the Hogwarts Grounds, which were soggy and wet. She jogged out onto the grounds, the rain trailing delicately down her face. She was so upset right now; she could just hurt someone, anyone, who was there.

I love you, I hate you.
I can\'t live around you!
I breathe you, I taste you.
I can\'t live without you!

The lake was windy and the steady beat of rain against the ground and against the surface of the lake. She felt so unhappy, she couldn\'t even find the correct word to describe how she felt. She felt her legs giving way. She was right at the edge of the lake, and she knew if her legs gave way she\'d drown in the lake.

\"Maybe I wouldn\'t mind drowning!\" She shouted to the sky.

I just can\'t take anymore.
This life of solitude.
I guess that I\'m out the door.
And now I\'m done with you.

Fortunately, her best friend, her only friend at the moment, found her and came to comfort her.

“’Mione,” the red head said softly, putting a hand on her shoulder. “What happened?”

He turned her to him, and with seeing the tears trickle down her face, following the path of rain, he hugged her. She beat against him, screaming out in anger.

“Why?! Did I deserve it?! Ron, please. Help me!!” Ron shushed her.

I feel like you don\'t want me around.
I guess I\'ll pack all my things.
I guess I\'ll see you around.
Inside, it bottles up until now....

\"Hermione, I\'ll always be here for you. I\'ll never you leave you. Just please try to calm down.\" Ron told her. She sniffed.

\"I don\'t understand. I love him. Harry, he lied to me. Again. And over and over and--\" Hermione buried her head into his shoulder. He ran his fingers over her hair.

As I walk out your door.
All I can hear is the sound of...
Always Always Always Always Always Always...
I just can\'t live without you!

“It’s okay, ‘Mione, just let it out.” She dropped to her knees, taking Ron with her.

“I don’t wanna hurt anymore.” She whispered slowly, picking her head up. The rain trickled down her face as she rested her head on his shoulder.

“Please, Ron, help me.” Was her last plea as sleep took her over.

I love you, I hate you.
I can\'t live around you!
I breathe you, I taste you.
I can\'t live without you!

Ron carefully edged her away from the lake. He had heard was she shouted, \'Maybe I wouldn\'e mind drowning!\'. He looked down, at the innocent girl in his arms. She was his friend, no doubt. He had to stick by her, through the thick and thin.

I just can\'t take anymore.
This life of solitude.
I guess that I\'m out the door.
And now I\'m done with you.

Ron carried Hermione off the grounds and into the building. He wrapped his cloak around her, to prevent her from catching a cold. She was absolutely soaked. Coming to a stop at the portrait, he whispered to her.
“This is where I leave you. Don’t worry, ‘Mione, I’ll always be here for you. I’ll help.”

He knocked on the portrait door, waiting for a reply.

I love you, I hate you.
I can\'t live without you!
I left my head around your heart.
Why would you tear my world apart?
Always Always Always Always.

Draco Malfoy opened the door to the portrait and looked at the two for a while.

“What happened to Granger, she drown herself in the lake?” Ron looked up at Malfoy, bright blue eyes, darkening at the meet with his silver ones.

“No. But she almost did.”

Ron walked passed a shocked Malfoy and opened the door to Hermione’s room. He dried her clothes and lay her under the covers. He left, but not before giving Hermione a kiss on the forehead.

“Everything will be okay, ’Mione. I promise.” And with that, Ron left her room.

I love you, I hate you.
I can\'t live around you!
I breathe you, I taste you.
I can\'t live without you!

Ron gave Malfoy a glare, as he walked past the blonde with a sad look. He couldn\'t let Hermione continue this. There would be one day where he wasn\'t around to \'carry her away from the lake\' like he had just before.

In the hallway, Ron breathed a deep sigh. Now he had to go back to the Common Room, where Harry was waiting, probably spouting off another story about the situation.

I just can\'t take anymore.
This life of solitude.
I guess that I\'m out the door.
And now I\'m done with you.

He figured the Gryffindor Common Room would be noisy and he didn\'t want to hear it... Nor did he want to run into Harry there. he wandered the halls for a while, wondering if Hermione would forgive Harry for what he\'d done. Ron shook his head quickly.

I love you, I hate you.
I can\'t live around you!
I breathe you, I taste you.
I can\'t live without you!

When he thought about it, Hermione seemed pretty angry at him... And he had never experienced something this tragic throughout their relationship as friends over the five years... Ron sighed, as he turned into another hallway. He really hoped that the whole thing had been a misunderstanding, which didn\'t say much. He didn\'t even know what was going on.

I just can\'t take anymore.
This life of solitude.
I pick myself off the floor.
And now I\'m done with you...

Marching down the stairs, Ron could see the Great Hall doors, open and wide. The Gryffindor Table was in wide view. And with shocked look, he realized that his sister and Harry were holding hands.

Always Always Always...

Authoressa: What do you think? Please review. And that was some lyrics from “Always” by Saliva.
