I know, terrible of me, still no title for the story, and no chapter titles, or quotes!
I\'m shockingly neglecting my poor stories.
But... I just had to get this chapter out!

\"Miss Granger.\"
\"Can.. can I help you, Professor?\"
Hermione looked tired, no doubt she was, he thought.
\"What was that, Miss Granger?\"
\"What was what, Professor?\" Hermione asked nervously.
Snape frowned.
\"Don\'t play games with me, Miss Granger. That dream. What was it?\"
Hermione\'s eyes widened slightly and she stepped back, away from him.
\"I don\'t know what you mean, Professor...\"
\"Yes you do, Miss Granger, now tell me what it was,\" Snape snapped, instantly regretting it at the look of fear in Hermione\'s eyes.
\"Were you trying to see my dreams, Professor?\" asked Hermione, frowning an accusation at him.
\"Of course not!\" spat Snape. \"You were broadcasting to anyone who might have been listening! Any fool with a smattering of legilimency would have seen.\"
Hermione bit her lip and stared down at her hands.
\"Now tell me, Miss Granger,\" continued Snape, a little more pleasantly, \"what was that dream?\"
\"Nothing. It was nothing,\" Hermione lied, \"Just a dream. Not everyone can control their dreams you know.\"
\"Don\'t lie to me, girl!\" he snapped again, \"I know what I saw, what I..\" he shuddered, \"felt.\"
He glared down at Hermione, who he saw now had tears in her eyes.
\"Who did it?\" he demanded.
Hermione continued to stare at her hands.
\"Tell me!\"
\"No.\" At first Snape wasn\'t sure she\'d said anything, her voice was barely a whisper.
\"What did you say?\"
\"I said no!\" exclaimed Hermione, glaring up at him and starting to close the door.
Snape slammed his foot in front of the door and pushed it open again. Marching into the room, he closed the door behind him and grabbed Hermione by the wrist.
\"Now, Miss Granger, you\'re going to tell me who did that to you!\"
\"Let go of me!\" cried Hermione, tears running freely down her face.
\"Not until you tell me who did it.\" spat Snape.
He pulled her wrist to move her further into the room.
\"You\'re hurting me..\" sobbed Hermione, and then she started to shake.
Snape let go as though he\'d been burnt. What had he been thinking? Yes, he needed to know who\'d done.. that to her, but...
He sighed deeply.
\"Sit down,.. Hermione.\" he said softly, gesturing to the bed.
Hermione sat on the edge of the bed, her face buried in her hands.
\"I\'m sorry,\" he started.
\"Please go away.,” she begged.
\"I can\'t do that, Miss Granger,\" he said precisely. \"You know that I can\'t leave a student when I find that they\'ve been... attacked.\"
He crouched down in front of her.
\"Now, you need to tell me who did this to you, Miss Granger. And then we can punish them.\"
Hermione shuddered and turned away from him, rolling over on her side to face the wall.
\"No.\" was her simple response.
\"For goodness sake, Miss Granger!\" snapped Snape, standing up again and pulling her back up into a sitting position.
Staring into her eyes he said dangerously, \"You don\'t really have a choice in this, you can\'t hide something like this, Miss Granger. Now, I\'m going to find out who did this to you.\"
Hermione\'s vision went hazy and suddenly she was back in the forest. She heard someone moving close behind her.
\"Now.\" hissed a voice off to her left.
\"No!\" she shouted, seeing Snape through the haze. She slapped him hard across the face and he fell back, a look of shock on his face.
\"How DARE you!\" he shouted, standing back up and giving her a murderous look.
\"How dare YOU?\" she demanded in return. \"I gave you no permission to go into my mind. Get out of my room!\"
Stunned Snape backed away.
\"You haven\'t heard the last of this, Miss Granger.\" he sneered before opening the door and stamping out of it.
