Chapter Two: Slowly Falling More in Love
Harry watched as scenery streaked across the windows. Harry\'s stomach churned at the swiftly approaching empire of Northern Slytherin. He was already disturbed by the macabre incidents plaguing his life, and this wasn\'t what he needed. His parents had died not a week and a half ago and here he was being forced to go to a party!
He would never have been made to do this if Sirius was home. Harry was currently without family, and he was ready to succumb to his desolation. Harry\'s parents had been ill for a year, and to be blunt, now they were dead. He would have gone to his god father Sirius\'s care, but fate was being a fickle mistress indeed. Sirius was off exploring off in a distant and \'uncivilized\' country. He had been missing for almost a year, not even responding or sending letters. Some people doubted he would ever come back, a thought that brought Harry down near to tears. In Sirius\'s absence Harry was now sent to live with his Aunt, Petunia and Uncle, Baron Dursely.
He was horrified. The Dursely family hated. Plain and simple. Baroness Petunia despised him, for he resembled her perfect sister, who always upstaged her. Dudley loathed him for his Wingely blood, making him more adept at magic. Baron Dursely just hated him. Even though Harry was controlled by guardians now, the Baron knew he would have more political power than the Baron could dream of. It was a god send to both sides to get Harry away from them. The instant he got the invitation he was shipped off to \'save the trouble and space\' he made according to Vernon.
Harry was of very high class and a legal magical creature, The Dursely\'s were very low compared to him, but they treated everyone as inferiors, which didn\'t help their social standing. Harry hated them for their cruelty and for how inconsiderate they were of his loss. Sure, he knew that with his parents condition they wouldn\'t last long, and he was ready when they left, not even angry, but still he felt the sting.
The last thing he needed was Tom. Tom was beyond kind to Harry. In fact, it was dead on when Draco said he pampered him, but Harry didn\'t like it, it unnerved him. Tom\'s letters always had an edge that made Harry uncomfortable, he couldn\'t put his finger on it but it made him nervous. Not to mention Draco hated Tom, which Draco always mentioned at least once in his letters A jolt sent Harry out of the suspensions of his mind, and back into the unfair reality that was his life. The coachmen open the door, and warm air of the night swept into face calming him instantaneously. Then he looked at the bastion of Slytherin.
He would have thought that it was a desolate building from the imposing profile he viewed from war away. However as he walked from his carriage into the open vestibule. It was beautiful. His favorite- Fairy lanterns, the beautiful and delicate lights shined around the room just hovering over everywhere. There were fairy made lanterns throughout the entrance, glowing purples, reds, and gold, no lighter than normal candle light but twinkling with suppressed magic. The deep purple walls were decorated with ornate designs resembling ivy carved from gold. People mingling were peppered throughout the entrance. Gowns of silk and robes of velvet in all shades of black grey and purple made Harry realize he was wearing red. He didn\'t know why but it seemed he was the only one with a bright color on, he knew about etiquette and that it was fine to wear red right now, it just seemed no one decided to. That was when he noticed everyone staring at him. Not his clothes but him what was wrong?! Did he forget to retract his wings? Was he really that ugly?
All the guests had arrived save one Fifteen year old emerald eyed prince. Tom was growing impatient. He wanted his Harry, and he wanted him now! Now! Suddenly . . . silence. The hall was quite, and the only noise was foot steps resonating throughout the hall. All heads turned to one direction to look at the new arrival. Tom wondered what could attract such attention, and then he saw it. Not him. In no way was that human. Descending the stairs was an angel. A fallen angel with spearing green eyes and sable hair. This was no peasant or magical creature, no king nor noble. No, this creature was surely the work of God. The Angel gracefully walked the stairway, his lissome body following through with each movement. The red outfit and cape swirling beautifully afterward. Like an exotic fish with long flowing fins accentuating the colors and form of the refined creature.
Taking a deep breath tom stepped forward to greet the heaven sent angel. He sauntered up, his height of 6\' 8\" towering over the boys 5\' 6\", he said with all his royal confidence, \"Good Evening, I\'m Prince Tomas Riddle, and you are?\" Sounding like the definition of suave itself. \"Don\'t be silly Tom! It\'s me, Harry!\"
Harry looked up at Tom not believing how much he had grown. Tom had become even more handsome with a toned body clad in raven black royal robes (say that ten times fast!) Everything about Tom seemed handsome and perfect but his eyes. Tom\'s eyes had always been a deep red and looked slightly odd (one of the reasons he was shunned as a child). His eyes had always portrayed his love for Harry, no matter how oblivious Harry was. But now his eyes not only held love but lust.
A deep raw need for the fifteen year old boy was apparent in his eyes to all in the room, excluding the very object of his affection. Harry blissfully unaware and adorably innocent was wondering if he had food on his face, which seemed the only logical reason for one as handsome as Tom, not to mention a man of 19 to be ogling at him.
\"Tom?\"
\". . . What? Oh, Harry? HARRY!\"
\"AHH! Tom!? TOM! PLEASE!\"
\"What?\"
\"Could you put me down? Please!\"
\"Oh? Oh, sorry! Sorry!\" True to his word, Tom set Harry down. He also managed to not take his eyes off him the whole evening, slowly falling more in love.
