The Sons Of Chaos and Mischief

Sorry about this all. I forgot Chapter One!! Arg!!! Absentmindedness sucks. Enjoy and forgive me my lapse in judgement.

Chapter One:

Five year old Severus Snape whimpers softly as he ducks into a hidden entryway behind a tapestry that luckily, his father doesn\'t know about. Crawling along the tunnel, (That seems to get bigger as he grows up) Severus gently falls out of the other end onto a soft and comfortable couch. Books upon books are in the room as is potions and weapons and spellbooks, along with Defense Against the Dark Arts equiptment. There\'s also a section on the ancient greek gods, containing mostly information about the houses of War, Death, Love, and Chaos. From his \'tutor\', Severus has found out that there is no recorded proof of there ever being a Goddess of Chaos, or of a Chaos Incarnate.

Grinning to himself, Severus fingers the pendant around his neck as he peruses the books. His friends Diayma, Strife, and Cupid may show up today as they normally do whenever he takes sanctuary in this room. He has taken to calling them \"Mom\", \"Dad\", and \"Papa\", as that\'s what they are to him. He just wishes that they were real, and not a made up fantasy. His real father beat him the one time he mentioned having invisible friends and his real mother looked as if Severus had just said he planned on becoming a muggle to ruin their bloodline.

\"Mom? Dad? Papa?\" whispers Severus, suddenly wanting real affection.

\"Behind you my little Snake,\" says a female\'s voice. Severus whirls around, a smile on his face as he sees Diayma. She first appeared to him when he was two and had just woken up from a nightmare. His mother just looked at him and told him to grow up. After she left the room, Diayma appeared and wrapped her arms around him, soothing him back to sleep. The second time was after a beating from his father, and that\'s when Severus realized that Diayma can only be seen by him and except for that one time, has faithfully kept Diayma\'s presence a secret.

\"Mom!\" says Severus with a grin before jumping into her arms. Diayma laughs and whirls Severus around, tickling him as she does. Severus laughs and squirms, trying to get away.

\"Di, stop teasing our son,\" laughs Strife as he appears.

\"Dad!\" shrieks Severus with glee, before running and jumping into Strife\'s arms. Strife appeared mainly the same way Diayma did, but instead of coming alone, Strife bought Papa, a.k.a Cupid, and the two stayed with him until he fell asleep. \"Where\'s Papa?\"

\"Cupid\'s with Grandpa \'Res,\" says Diayma. \"He had to keep Grandpa \'Res from runing one of his love matches.\"

\"Oh,\" says Severus. He then grins. \"Guess what!\"

\"What?\" asks Strife as they sit down on the couch, Severus between him and Diayma.

\"Mother and Father are bringing a friend of theirs over...and they have a son my age!\" says Severus. \"Mother even said I could play with their son if he wanted to play!\"

\"Oh, and who\'s the friend?\" asks Diayma.

\"Helena and Richard Malfoy.\" says Severus. \"Their son is Lucius.\"

\"Sev, I want you to be careful around Richard okay?\" asks Strife.

\"Why?\" asks Severus intrigued.

\"Remember when you asked what a pedophile was?\" asks Diayma.

\"Uh huh,\" says Severus. \"Richard\'s one?\"

\"Yes,\" says Diayma simply. \"Just be careful and make sure you\'re never alone with him.\"

\"I promise,\" says Severus as he curls up beside her. Cupid then appears silently and Severus grins. \"Papa!\"

\"Hey my Snake,\" grins Cupid. \"Having fun?\"

\"Uh huh. I learned another word today,\" says Severus.

\"Oh?\" asks Cupid as he sits down on the ground between Strife\'s legs. Strife immediately runs his fingers through Cupid\'s hair. Severus knows his Mom and Dad aren\'t married because Dad and Papa are married. They also told him they don\'t care who he falls in love with, male or female, as long as they care about him.

\"Uh huh,\" says Severus. \"Its \'Coveted\'.\"

\"And what does it mean?\" asks Diayma pulling Severus into her lap.

\"Extremely rare and wanted,\" says Severus. \"Father says that Parseltongues are coveted by Voldemort.\"

\"Does he know?\" asks Cupid calmly.

\"No,\" says Severus. \"Father doesn\'t know i\'m a Parseltongue.\"

\"Don\'t ever tell him,\" says Diayma. \"Understand me? I don\'t want you becoming Voldemort\'s slave.\"

\"Yes Mom,\" says Severus before yawning.

\"Tired?\" asks Strife changing the topic.

\"Mother and Father were fighting,\" says Severus, gently falling asleep. \"They kept me up all night.\"

\"You\'re safe here,\" says Diayma soothingly rubbing Severus\' back. \"Sleep my little Snake. No harm shall come to you.\"

\"Oday,\" says Severus, all but asleep. \"Mama, do I have any siblings?\"

\"You have a twin brother,\" says Diayma softly. \"His name is Ethan.\"

\"Where he go?\" says Severus but before Diayma can answer, Severus is already deeply asleep. She smiles sadly at her son before holding him close, as Strife and Cupid gently wrap a blanket around him.

\"Let\'s put him in his room,\" says Strife. \"Luckily he won\'t get in trouble as this is usually his nap time.\"

\"Strife...he doesn\'t know we\'re not returning,\" frets Diayma. \"He doesn\'t know we *can\'t*. It\'s *Zeus* decree. We return, and he\'ll kill Severus *and* Ethan.\"

\"Give him a two way journal,\" says Cupid. \"Write an explanation in it and tell him he can always talk to us in the journal.\"

\"Zeus is going to pay,\" vows Diayma. Strife and Cupid nod their agreement before teleporting into Severus\' rooms. They gently lay him down on his bed before Diayma conjures a journal and places it underneath Severus\' pillow. Only he will be able to open it and read what it truly says. Anyone forces him to read it, and they\'ll be insulted. Kissing Severus\' forehead, Diayma teleports out, followed by Strife and Cupid as Severus sleeps on, a soft smile on his face.

On Olympus, Diayma snarls as she barely makes it on Olympus before the shields fall into place, keeping anyone from leaving until the Sons of Chaos are reunited. That was the decree of Order itself and it just went into effect. Luckily, Strife and Cupid made it inside.

\"Why can\'t you destroy the barrier?!\" shrieks Athena at Diayma.

\"Because Order is the only one who is stronger than me!\" snarls Diayma. \"Do you think I like this anymore than you do?! I want to be able to keep an eye on my sons! I can\'t do that if i\'m trapped him. However, because Zeus pissed off Order before killing him in the Titan War, Order laid this trap that\'s suppose to spring into being when the Sons of Chaos are seperated for five years or more and fall when they\'re reunited. He *knew* it would weaken us!\"

\"Di, relax,\" says Ares softly, placing an arm around her waist protectively. \"It\'ll be fine.\"

\"Really?!\" snarls Diayma.

\"Joxer\'s on Earth,\" says Ares simply. \"He left a second before the shield erupted to protect them.\"

\"B-B-But that means,\" stammers Strife.

\"He\'s cut off from us until Ethan and Sev are reunited,\" says Diayma before bursting out into tears.

\"Be safe Joxer,\" whispers Cupid looking at the sky. \"Be safe.\"

Ah, don\'t worry if you\'re confused...so am I. Some notes.
A) Diayma will get stronger emotionally. She\'s not going to stay as emotionally weak as she is.
B) The pairings are and will stay as I listed them in the prologue. I won\'t change them. The mentioned/implied pairings are what used to be and what various characters think is going on. Two of them are rape pairings. Take a wild guess which two.
C) I will try to update at least once every two weeks. I\'m in the process of reorganizing my life right now (it\'s been nearly eight months since I graduated high school and i\'m not in college yet. I gotta work on that.) Updates will come at least once every two weeks though. I get bored easily and I write when I do.
