Forbidden

Chapter 2.

She sat down and helped herself to a full English breakfast. The Burrow was as chaotic as usual on the first day of school. Harry came clomping down the stairs, Ginny blushed a little at seeing him, but she was doing this less now, Harry had noticed. He thought it was because she was growing more familiar, he was wrong.

They sat and ate together in silence, before Mrs. Weasley was downstairs floating their trunks before them and out of the front door, to where her husband waited with the muggle car he had bought to replace the one Harry & Ron had crashed at Hogwarts.

Half an hour later, they were all in the car, Ginny seated next to Hermione who was whispering to her, trying to find out who she had been dreaming about. Ginny was doing her best to ignore her. They pulled up to King's Cross Station at 10.35, they had plenty of time to get through the magical barrier to Platform 9 ¾ and board the train.

"Ugh, Malfoy and cronies alert" muttered Ron in disgust. He turned to talk to Hermione, Harry did the same. Ginny looked at Malfoy, he was talking to those oafs Crabbe and Goyle, then as he looked towards her, she shifted her eyes and turned to Harry. She hated him, she thought. That stupid sneer, the horrible comments about her family...those beautiful blue eyes, the shining golden hair. She shook her head trying to snap out of it.
