¡§I know Hermione.¡¨ A slow sigh escaped Minerva. She seemed to slump slightly. ¡§I¡¦m worried about Harry too.¡¨
¡§Ahh, Professor MacGonagal and Hermione, just the two people I wanted to see.¡¨ The soft, but powerful voice of Dumbledore said, entering Minerva¡¦s chambe
¡§We were just talking about Harry.¡¨
¡§I know. It¡¦s very unfortunate how Harry has taken to losing Ron.¡¨ Albus sat down next to Hermione, letting his legs stretch slightly.
¡§He blames you.¡¨ Hermione¡¦s voice was slightly accusing. Perhaps it was Dumbledore¡¦s fault that Ron was dead. Perhaps if Dumbledore hadn¡¦t held the strings to Ron and Harry¡¦s lives, if he hadn¡¦t used them and„mno, she was thinking crazy.
¡§I¡¦m afraid Harry isn¡¦t handling his grief in the best manner. However, we can not help him see what he is doing. We can only be there for him when he finally comes to us.¡¨ The old wizard sounded tired. Worn. Defeated. ¡§I¡¦ve always thought of Harry as the son I never had. It hurts me too for him to hate me as he does.¡¨
¡§Professor there has to be something we can do. He¡¦s not going to pass any of his classes if he continues this way. Moreover, he¡¦s going to end up doing something drastic, if not to Malfoy, then to someone. I don¡¦t want to see Harry end up expelled, or worse, in Azkaban!¡¨
A comforting hand was laid upon her shoulder. She turned to Albus and felt the tears leaking out of her eyes. She hadn¡¦t just lost one best friend, she had lost both. ¡§We have to give Harry time to cope. The only thing we can do is watch out for him.¡¨
¡§Perhaps we should take him out of school for the time being Professor.¡¨ Minerva said, looking as if she might cry at any moment too.
¡§No. No it is best he remains here, among those who care for him.¡¨ Albus got up, trying a smile. ¡§Now if you¡¦ll excuse me. I must go calm Professor Snape down. He was rather adamant about throwing Harry out of school.¡¨
