Chapter 2

A many sorrowful things happened the day before, but as the young lady that was
named Sibyll Trelawney wouldn't let something as minor as a tainted vision and migraines
stand in her way of going to Hogwarts, the only school she had ever known to be her own.
With a panic-filled morning of perming Sibyll's unruly mane, and her finally removing her
glasses and bumping 'round the house and shop very unpurposefully. Though as she sat
underneath the running faucet next to the old victorian tub rinsing pink foam from her
burning scalp.
Deiphobe stood by carefullym, knowing that this would have never happened if
only Sibyll would spend some decent time practicing her other spells. Alas, she would
let the girl stand up and towel dry who new favorite accent of herself. Sibyll smiled as
she stood in front of a hand mirror and gazed at her changed reflections most carefully.
A sort of unknown feeling passed over her,in all her life she would have never suspected,
concluded, invisioned, prophesized that she would turn out to be so much more beautiful.
It was more than just the hair and the glasses removed,it was the way she
was carrying herself. No more was she slumping to hide her height,no more was she
crossing her hands in front of her chest,no more would she hide her naturally
pink cheeks. She would wear them with pride, though of course,a little make-up
wouldn't have hurt the girl, but she wasn't the kind to say "let me put my face on"
at any given time or another.
Quite possibly and without a doubt she at least thought she was decent
looking as of now.She was now sixteen,a young woman, maybe even a little girl.
She thought that the time of when she would want to grow out of being the way she
was would never come, but it had arrived. As she stood in front of the mirror
marveling at herself, she wanted to become a new person. All the ranting, the death
wishes, the way she didn't care what she looked like in the morning, the way she
walked as if she had her ankles tied together, she wanted to run away from that..
but that was who she was. And she liked the way she was,but maybe, just
maybe if she changed Sirius would give her a chance.
As soon as the silly thought pasted her mind, she sighed and turned around
to a beaming Deiphobe, who had her hands clasped together near her heart and a warm
smile spread across her aged face. At first Sibyll was about to walk away,or make sure
her granny wasn't about to have a heart attack, but she never did,for what Deiphobe the
Second was about to tell her would have kept her in her spot for years,"Ya are
behyootifale my darlin' gail."
Sibyll smiled warmly at her grandmother and barged over to envelope her
into a tight loving hug,"Thank you Granny, thank you so much." Was all she could
manage to say as she grabbed her trunk and suitcase, taking much care to
hide her orb underneath her sky blue linen shawl she wore."Let's go
Deiphobe."
And with that the pair made their way from their humble living quarters to
their extravagant shop, and soon they were outside the door standing beside
Deiphobe's beat up BMW. Though they plopped down and sighed staring at each other
for what seemed like hours, and excited grin on both of their faces. This was the first, and
certainly the last time Deiphobe would be driving her beloved granddaughter to London
to aboard the Hogwarts Express.
Sibyll snapped on the radio to a good soft rock station and laid back in the
dusty chair as her granny jerked off down the road in the humid and foggy morning
in their little harborish town. For once she was happy and eager to go start her
next year of learning. Perhaps her sixth year would be different,as far as she saw
it things couldn't ant any better.

At the station Deiphobe gnawed anxiously on her frail fingers as she was standing
in front of platform 9 3/4 at the train station. All Sibyll could do was urge her guardian that
she would be alright. Deiphobe wasn't too keen on the idea of ramming into a solid brick
wall, and one that could use some remodeling as well. Nevertheless after a brief moment
of constant coaxing on the young Seer' behalf,Deiphobe kissed her darling goodbye
on the cheek and watched in horror as Sibyll disappeared behind the mysterious
little platform.
The smell of soot, coal, and overly perfumed girls and wizarding parents filled
the air."Bloody hell...",Sibyll muttered under her breath, her eyes quickly searching her
surroundings as the always instinctfully did. The constant pushing of students passed her
as she quickly made her way upon the Hogwarts Express was making her feel a bit of
nausea and worriedness. She did the only thing that came to her mind in the moment of
utter discomfort, she reached under her shawl, and over to the side of her shirts's under
pockets and grabbed a small, hand painted tea cup.
Taking the dainty cup into her shaking hands she brought it up to her nose and
enhaled its never-been-washed scent and sighed, placing it back under and finally stepping foot
upon the Express. She was soon interrupted by a warm htouctouching her shoulder, she nearly
jumped twenty feet back, but managed to just jump off of boarding the train. The face she saw
was warm, and obviously more pretty than she would ever assume herself was.
The glowing face belonged to none other than Lily Evans, her former best friend and
the apple of James eye, also better known as his crush...maybe even love. Lily smiled and
greeted Sibyll warmly,as the blonde only nodded and moved out of her way,Lily frowned
a bit,but soon her broad beam returned,"You look pretty Sibyll.See you around.",said
Lily, disappearing of into the train, leaving Sibyll to contemplate about things, and if
her appearance really did change.
She finally took a step up inside, and quickly scanned the compartments up and
down and could not find one that wasn't locked,or garishly guarded by growl-faced
children. Sibyll moped around the aisle, dragging her trunk around loudly until the somewhat
of what Sibyll called"train waitress" took her trunk and left her with just her large bag, which
she kept her well-kept robes in.
And soon,as if it hadn't been there before,in the last little compartment in the
far back of the train, there was no one to be found. Being that she had no friends to
share it wir anr anyone to offer to be her companion for the ride to,she quickly threw her
bag inside and plopped down in her seat. She fumbled with get comfortable in the
cramped spaces, but she managed to at least associate herself with the surroundings
and then she heard a creaking as if a hand was jerking on the door handle, but she ignored
it and took out the box of plain milk chocolate chunks Deiphobe had gave to her, they
smelled of a tart-smelling perfume and Sibyll laughed.
The quaintness of the moment soon dissolved as the door flung open and
none other than her long lost friend Millicent Gertrudis, now married to the former
headmaster of Hogwarts,Alistair. Sibyll nearly choked on the air around her and tossed
the chocolates aside, carefully thought into the tea cup she had sitting propped up
against the window. She stood with her mouth gaped wide open, but rested her
hand down as the jerking of the train pulling off from the station nearly knocked her
over as the woman stood completely still in front of her.
Being that who she thought was her dear friend Millie wouldn't speak a
single word,Sibyll decided to put sound to her thoughts,"You aren't Millie!
You can't be!",she yelled plopping down in her seat as the woman in front
of her did,and put a hand to her moute lie limbel hand trembled as if there
was a deep, dark cold developing the now closed compartment.
The woman removed the small black cap she wore over her
head and revieled flowing locks of dark, crimson tendrils that seemed to move
around the woman's head as if they were alive, some growing longer and then
retractings as they reached out to touch Sibyll's face.As she sat down, she
stared at Sibyll as if she had gone mad,if she already didn't thinks she was.
She sighed and crossed her legs,"Let's not speak of blasphemy Sibyll..."
Sibyll officially knew that this woman was indeed her friend,no one in
the entire world resembled the tiny woman with the "squid hair" that would
literally read read your mind.Though,at just looking at Millicent's face you
wouldn't believe that she was a siren, for she looked exactly as a innocent little
girl, with smooth brown skin, and even a bit of freckles and large, begging
eyes.Sibyll laughed at the Millie's comment and reached out to rest her
hand on her's.
"Now that I know it's you, what exactly in the name of all that is good
and evil are you doing here Millie?!",Sibyll asked her voice becoming a low,
scared voice, for she was aware of how devious Millicent could be when she
wanted too,and this sudden appearance could be now smaller in her large
plots of schemes.
Millicent patted Sibyll's hand with her other hand, which was wrapped
in cool black leather, with small cleavers specially crafted on each of her
fingers,"Well in the name of good, after receiving a letter from the doltish little
barn owl of yours,Ferret,I quickly came over here",she then pauses, noticing
Sibyll's shocked expression,"Well,I apparated over here from the States.Deiphobe
had written me a seperate letter from your own. It told me about the constant
visions you were having. So,as quick as a flash I came over here to help you
and to take care a bit of unfinished business around here..."
"What do you mean by unfinished business Millie? You aren't
going to hurt anyone, right?" Millicent smirked and removed every part
of herself away from Sibyll without falling out of the compartment. She
was lying to Sibyll, she was up to something bigger, that didn't neccassarily
involve Sibyll in important matters. She couldn't tell her friend, who was
a decade younger, she wouldn't understand what that she was trying
to help,her and herself.
"Who said I was going to hurt anyone? I might kill someone, but
of course that wouldn't be painful.",Millie said a sharp tone to her voice,as
she grimaced and grabbed her abodomen, but she soon exhaled and turned
to Sibyll.
Sibyll, who was a bit weary about what was going on really, didn't
really want "to talk to Millie if she was so secretive as of now."MILLIE!
Hell, why are you beating around the bush?"
"I'm not beating around the bush Sibbie! I'm to mature
to be hiding things from you,I love you. And I came here just to check
upon you...may I read you mind, and see if I can help with your
invision?"
Sighing deeply and most regretfully Sibyll allowed the malevolent
siren wrap one of her curls around her forehead,as it began pulling tighter
and tighter upon the poor girl's skull until she yelped out in pain.Though
the out burst didn't affect Millicent at all,and as quick as a flash she
pulled the tendril back and stood up,placing her hat back upon her head
and turning to exit the compartment in one swift move.As she lingered
between the doorway, she sighed and looked back at Sibyll,"If you need
me,I'll be somewhere hiding out in Hogsmeade!"
"Where's Alistair?",Sibyll managed to asked just as soon as
the door shut, something told her that Millicent was lying, and that there
was quite more to why Millicent was staying so close to her,but perhaps
she wouldn't really be up to no good.Perhaps she was just getting away
from her nagging husband for awhile.
She sat alone, placing her box under her shawls as she pulled her
robe over her shoulders and her head pounding in places she hadn't known
existed. The happiness of returning to Hogwarts had just faded as she was
wondering if she had really been used by Millicent for her own personal use,
there was so much that was pacing through her head right now,she didn't
know what to do with it.
"BLASPHEMY?!!!",she screamed kicking the suitcase in front
of her and literally going into a infinite rage as her hair flew around her
face, and sweat began dripping, the headache was come, and soon
her heart was breaking. There was nothing she understood any more, slowly,
things that she considered unimportant were now driving her crazy,as
she gripped hard onto her tea cup,she could'nt help, but faint yet
again, this pain was overwhelming, and in that instance,Sibyll gave up
and fainted in her seat.
Luckily, there was a certain bright-eyed Lily strolling up
and down the aisles, telling everyone that they would soon be arriving
at the school. She knocked on the last door, which openedto ato a
lifeless Sibyll. She pushed hard on it and her eyes went buck as a
girlish scream rang throwout the train,"SIBYLL?!!!",and Lily collapsed
by her ,shaking her with all her might,"Sibyie please...."
