Epilogue

Draco had decided to start a wedding designer company. He spent much of his time planning and making other couple’s magical.

Fifty years had passed since their wedding and Draco and Harry had decided to spend their fiftieth anniversary together in quiet.

Soon came their one hundredth anniversary and they had renewed their vows. The wedding was just as magical as the first even though the two men had aged. They were still young, vibrant, and as beautiful as their special day one hundred years ago.

Then came the day they had both passed on. They had been able to live to see their one hundred and fiftieth anniversary and had both passed on the same day and the same moment.

There was something that couldn’t be forgotten though. Their vows that were said one hundred and fifty years ago.

They were buried beside each other in separate coffins but shared the same tombstone. Many came to pay their respects. Whether they were close to the couple or not they were still remembered.

In Draco’s coffin contained the guest book from the church. To keep with the blonde all the memories and all the love that came from those around him. To show all the support those around him gave.

In Harry’s coffin contained the guest book from the reception for the same reason as Draco’s.

During their funeral no tears were shed from those who attended the wedding one hundred and fifty years prior. They all knew that dying was a way of starting a new life for them. They would always be together now. There was no waiting for the inevitable, no ‘it’s coming soon’. Just together was what the two had to look forward to.

Draco had written a letter to Harry and the letter had been read to Harry after Draco had written it as the blonde had taken a nap before they both passed.

‘Dear Harry,

We have lived through one hundred and fifty years together as a married couple. Our love never died, our longing for the other never faded. As you lay there next to me asleep, both of us in our deathbed I’m leaving you this. When our souls wake and we drift off to eternity together remember the day one hundred and fifty years ago. Remember what we said and remember how we felt. Compare it to how we feel now and please realize. It is nothing to what we feel now. Even after so many years together. In many relationships the love fades. In many relationships the love leaves. But with us it’s different. With the two of us, we love forever. I have eternity to look forward to with you by my side every step of the way. Thank you for one hundred and fifty years of unconditional love and understanding. See you as we make our way to the other side to join our friends who have already passed before us. See you when we get there and see you forever.

Always,
Draco’

Right before they had died their last words ever spoken from their physical mouths were what was written on their gravestones. Etched in stone to be remembered forever.

On the side where Draco had been placed it red, embeember?’

On Harry’s side it red, ‘I will never forget.’
