Time Stops for me
***Though it may be short, I really like this chapter, and please don’t skip it just because it’s short, I worked just as hard on it as I did on anything else……by the way……..would anyone care to explain the exactly how WIKTT works? I hope I spelled it right….it’s really late and I can’t seem to focus***
The rain fell steadily outside her window, and Hermione lay on her bed gazing out into the darkness, which was beginning to cover the horizon. She sighed and rolled over, staring at the bright white ceiling, which provided such a strong contrast to the storm brewing outside.
She glanced at the clock next to her and groaned inwardly. It had only been a minute; damn Muggle tests took so long to finish. Couldn’t it make up its mind already? How difficult is it to get some lines to appear on a stupid stick? Hermione caught a glance of her face in the mirror and laughed. She looked like her mother, constantly worrying and fretting over something.
After what seemed to be a lifetime, the timer rang, and she jumped up and ran to the bathroom. She picked up the stick and stared at it not able to comprehend what she saw before her. Finally, she put it down and walked back out to her bedroom slowly. Numbly, as if in a daze she picked up the phone and dialled a number.
“Hello.”
“Hello, it’s me, Hermione. We have to meet.”
***Sigh, I know it’s short guyz, but it’s more of a transition paragraph then anything else. Don’t worry the next one will be longer…….I hope***
