Chapter 2
Chapter 2
\" You think that your so high and mighty don\'t you,\" Mary said to her. \" Harry Potter\'s perfect little girl. Can do everything and more then most wizards your age. Well I hate to inform you, no one cares.\"
\" When did you ever think that I liked my stupid powers,\" Robin said in a calm tone. \" To be told that I will kill dark witches and wizards is not my idea of fun.\" Mary looked at her as though she didn\'t believe her. Then she pulled out her wand and pointed it at her.
\" My father never loved me, he never cared for me.\" Robin shook her head.
\" Your father loved you, but then you tried to kill him. You tried to kill us all.\" Mary laughed a high cold laugh and then screamed her first spell. She closed her eyes and the spell at once deflected. Then it turned into a ball of white light and she launched it at her. Mary dodged it and it disappeared.
\" Don\'t make me hurt you,\" she snapped.
\" Well then if you say that then I know that your week.\" Robin didn\'t know how that even connected to what she had said, but Mary loved to tell her that she was weak, even at this. She raised her staff and a flash of black light came from the end of it, it was ten times more powerful then any spell that had ever been created. Mary was hit with it, and with a scream she was no more. Robin looked at the scene and dropping her staff she cried, and the crying never stopped.
The battle had a effect on Robin that not even her owl could of seen. She was sorted into Gryffindor, but her heart wasn\'t into it. She would go to class without speaking to anyone and it seemed as though she had lost her ability to talk. She did her homework and didn\'t answer any questions. Even broomstick flying she was able to get her broom up in the air without saying anything. Professor Dumbledore believed that she had shut her mind off of what happened.
\" How long do you think it\'s going to last?\" Professor McGonagall asked.
\" I don\'t know.\"
Even Professor Snape tried to get her to talk, but all the yelling and words wouldn\'t get a response from her. One day Lavender decided to try something on her that might change things, it was called logic.
\" Robin you couldn\'t of stopped it,\" she told her. \" And pretending that your a statue is not going to change things.\" Robin looked at her and finally after a month of not talking she spoke.
\" You weren\'t there when I tried to get her to change who she was. The Professor tried to change her, but nothing worked.\"
\" What happened?\" Lavender asked. Robin looked at the ground.
\" One day you\'ll find out.\" And she left.
Lavender told the Gryffindors that she had managed to get Robin to talk. Harry didn\'t know what was wrong with the girl that was his daughter, but he was determined to find out.
