Hermione's Diary
Hermione\'s diary
Hermione pulled out her diary after she had finished with her charms work and wrote down with a heavy heart.
Diary,
I don\'t know what to do. I just became a monster thanks to Malfoy. I know that Harry will never go out with me, I\'m a freak of nature and not worthy of anyone\'s love. I will have no choice but to keep it a secret and as long as he never finds out then I\'m safe.
Hermione.
She closed the book and left it on her bedside table. Then she drinking her potion, she turned over and went to sleep. Meanwhile Harry who was wearing his cloak entered to check on Hermione. He saw that she was asleep and he noticed a book. He opened it and read the entry that she had just made. He was shocked, Hermione was in love with him, but why did she consider herself a freak of nature. He knew the only person that could help him was the Headmaster, and so still wearing the cloak he went to see the Headmaster.
\" Enter.\" He called. Harry opened the door and the Headmaster was shocked to see him.
\" Sir I must talk to you.\" He motioned for him to sit down. \" I found out that Hermione has been turned into a monster by Malfoy, though I don\'t see where the monster is. I just found out that she\'s in love with me. What does this all mean?\"
\" Mr. Malfoy has used a curse to turn Hermione into a werewolf. She will change during the next full moon. He did it to get revenge for what you and her had done last year. I also knew that she had feelings for you, but she is not the kind of girl to tell you that. You must show the same tolerance that you showed Remus. You must show her that you don\'t care that she is this.\"
\" That\'s no problem, I don\'t care that she\'s a werewolf, she has always been there for me and I\'ll always be there for her.\" Dumbledore smiled at him.
\" Then that is all that I require. Now get that cloak back on before Mr. Weasley takes points off.\"
\" Yes sir,\" said Harry, grinning. And he left Dumbledore\'s office. The next morning Harry tried to pretend that he didn\'t know what was wrong with Hermione. Why hadn\'t he seen that she had feelings for him, why didn\'t he want to see. And then he remembered that he had at that time a crush on Cho Chang, but that was over. He decided that it was time for him to tell her the truth, that he knew that she was a werewolf and that he didn\'t care, he just hoped that she believed him.
Harry waited until the rest of Gryffindor house had gone to lessons before coming up to her.
\" Hermione can I tell you something.\" She looked up and nodded I a I accidently read your diary.\" At those words Hermione exploded.
\" YOU READ MY DIARY,\" she bellowed. Harry held his hands up trying to get her to calm down.
\" Hermione please let me continue.\" she looked at him still in rage. \" I read about what Malfoy had done and I went to the Headmaster and he told me that what you had written was true. I don\'t care that your a werewolf, I don\'t think your a monster, you have been there for me when I needed you the most and for that I\'ll be grateful. I also read that your in love with me, why didn\'t you ever tell me.\"
Hermione put her head down and dropped her quill.
\" Because I didn\'t know how you would react,\" she told him. \" I didn\'t think it was normal for me to have those kinds of feelings for my best friend. I thought that you would yell at me and call me stupid. I was scared.\" And then before he could say anything she ran off. He tried to call her back, but it was no use, she was gone.
