Chapter 19
I am in no way making any money off of this story. (Although I wish I could.)
Chapter 19
“Hermione we’ve been trying to reach you, but we didn’t know how.” A person said as soon as they walked in the door.
“I’m sorry Grandma, I found out yesterday, and couldn’t make it until today.” She replied.
“And who is they?” Her grandmother asked pointing to Ruthie and Severus.
“This is Ruthie, my daughter, and..”
“Daughter?” Her grandmother shouted. “When did this happen? You’re not old enough to be a mother. You’re not even out of school. What were you thinking? And am I to assume that this is the father?”
When Hermione turned to look at Severus, he was holding Ruthie in his arms looking quite content.
“No Grandma, he isn’t Ruthie’s father, he’s a professor at the school I go to. We’ve been staying there this summer so I could finish my studies early and Ruthie has taken quite a likening to him.”
Hermione’s grandmother continued to watch Severus with Ruthie as she and Hermione sat down to discuss the arrangements.
“Your parents had everything already taken care of. All you need to do is pick the days it will happen and figure out what you want in the paper.” (I don’t know if they publish obituaries there so I’m going on what they do here…)
Hermione figured it would be easier to start the viewing the next day and only have one day of viewing before her parents were put to rest. After that she wrote what she wanted put in the paper, gave it to her grandmother and sent her on her way.
“I’m sorry it took so long.” Hermione said to Severus.
“It’s alright I knew it needed done.”
“I don’t feel like cooking tonight, what do you think about ordering pizza?”
“Sounds fine.”
Hermione placed the order and put on cartoons for Ruthie to watch. Shortly after the pizza arrived and they ate.
“I’m going to give Ruthie her bath and put her to bed, I’ll be back down in a bit.”
“I’ll be right here.”
When Ruthie was almost done with her bath they heard Severus walking up the stairs.
“Hermione I’m being called. I’ll return here when he’s done with me. Don’t leave the house and if I’m not back in a few hours floo Hogwarts and let the Headmaster know.”
“Be safe Severus.” Hermione said kissing his cheek.
Hermione finished Ruthie’s bath and put her to bed. She went downstairs and turned the TV back on to sit and wait.

Severus arrived at Malfoy Manor
“My followers someone has displeased me greatly.” The Dark Lord said, “I had told you I had an heir. I also said that I didn’t want my heir or her mother harmed, yet someone has harmed them. How do you suppose I get them on my side now that someone has murdered her parents? Does anyone know who did this?”
Of course no one stood forward and accepted the blame.
“Severus, how has this affected Miss Granger?”
“She is quite distraught my Lord.” He replied
“She knows that it was Death Eaters?”
“She only assumes.”
“Be sure my followers that I will find out who did this and that person will be punished greatly. You are dismissed.”
Severus apperated back to Hermione’s and found her asleep on the couch.
“Hermione.” He said, “It’s time to go to bed.”
“Severus your back.” She said happily. “How did the meeting go?”
“The Dark Lord is very upset about your parent’s murder. He doesn’t know who did it, but there will be hell to pay when he finds out.”
Hermione sat up and Severus sat beside her. They watched TV until Hermione was asleep. Severus picked Hermione up and took her upstairs to find her bedroom. He opened a door to a room he could only assume was hers because of all the books and laid her on the bed. He covered her wit a blanket and started to leave.
“Please Severus, stay here with me.”
“I don’t think I can. I don’t think I could control myself and this isn’t the time for us. You have things you need to do tomorrow. We’ll have our time soon, I promise.” He said bending down and kissing her.
He made his way back downstairs and lay on the couch. He was going to sleep there tonight so he could make sure nothing happened to his two girls upstairs.

I've finally updated. Next Chapter will be the funeral and maybe a bit something more. Please review, and i promise i won't wait that long to update again.
