Epilogue II

OKAY, Just a quick little glimpse into life at Hogwarts for little Sara Snape...LOL..

CHAPTER NINETEEN: EPILOGUE II

Sara Elizabeth Snape was trying desperately to get to class without being seen by James Potter. The whiney little twit was starting to annoy her and she was losing what little patience she possessed. She had thought that she was safe as she slipped into her advanced potions class, she was usually left alone when her father was around. Most boys, James included were terrified of her father.

“Hello Sara!” No such luck. Sara’s shoulders slumped and she felt the throbbing start in the back of her neck. James Potter was a nice enough boy, she had known him all her life as his father was her uncle Harry. For some odd reason over the last year, he had taken to following her around all the time. He sent her notes, sent her flowers and had even followed her to the ladies room at Uncle Ron’s birthday dinner. He was becoming a pest.

“Hello James, you are here early.” She said, trying to be civil.

“I know you get here early so I decided to come see you.” He said, his bright green eyes twinkling.

“Well, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go….over there.” Clutching her books to her chest, she stepped around him and practically ran to her father’s office.

“Hello sweetheart, what brings you in here so early?” Severus asked as he looked up from his papers.

“Hiding from James.” She said, rolling her eyes. Severus sat back and stared at his daughter. She was breaking his heart. She was stunningly beautiful and it amazed him every time he looked at her that something so heart stoppingly lovely could have come from him. She was tall and slender, with long, silky black curls that she had pulled into a ponytail that hung to her waist. She had big amber colored eyes like her mother. She was becoming a woman and he hated it. Boys were following her about continuously, even the seventh years. Lucky for him though, she could care less.

“Don’t be too hard on him, he fancies himself in love with you.” Severus said, laughing when his daughter frowned and made a rather disgusted face.

“If he keeps it up I’m going to transfigure him into a toad.” She said as she put her books aside and climbed up to sit on his desk. “Where is Bastian?” She asked.

“Probably in the library with your mother, he has his N.E.W.T.S next week.” Severus said as he put his papers into his desk drawer.

“Ugh, I’ve never seen anyone study so much.” She said. Severus stood and straightened his robes.

“Leave him be Sara, he’ll come out of his shell eventually.” Sebastian was a quiet, studious boy who spent most of his time with his nose in a book, very much like his mother.

“He told James to leave me alone, but apparently it didn’t work.” She said with a grimace as she looked out into the classroom to see him wave at her. Her eyes narrowed slightly and Severus watched as a pewter stirring rod whacked him on the hand.

“Sara!” Severus was trying not to laugh at his daughter’s antics, but it was difficult not too. She had mastered wandless magic, a talent they had discovered at the age of six when Sebastian was unceremoniously dumped from his chair at dinner by invisible hands after he swiped his sister’s dinner roll.

“Sorry Daddy.” She said with a smirk that never failed to amuse Severus.

“Come on love, time for class.” He laid his hand on her shoulder and steered her into the classroom.

“Hello Sara…you look pretty today.” A voice drawled to her left. Severus watched as her face flushed and she lowered her head to stare at her feet. What in the hell is that all about? He thought.

“Hello Scorpius, thank you.” She said softly as she slid into her seat.

“Oh no.” Severus said beneath his breath, please, please, please don’t let my little girl end up a Malfoy.
