All the way

Severus stared wide eyed at the Minister as he carried on speaking over the groans of the prosecution.

\"He is cleared of all charges of murder and is to be set free immediately. Every one is dismissed.\"

Severus\' hand cuffs disappeared and a door opened into the court room. He got out of the hard chair and walked into the main room. The jury and the prosecution filed out, even Ginny was gone.

He stopped quite a way from Hermione. She was staring at the table. Then she looked up and straight at him. His heart skipped at the warmth and softness in her eyes.

She stood up slowly.

\"We did it.\" She whispered. Hermione walked out from behind her table. Her face was emotionless, but her eyes were burning.

Then she gave him the biggest smile he had ever seen and ran at him. Severus managed to open his arms just in time to catch her as she leaped at the last moment.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist, squeezing tightly. He put his arms around her and crushed her to him.

She was making little mewing sounds, like a little kitten. His little kitten.

\"We did it,\" Hermione cried, \"You can go, we really did it!\"

\"You did it, Hermione,\" He said as she unwound her legs from around him and he slid her to the floor, \"And I think it\'s only fair that you call me Severus, for all that you have done for me.\"

\"Well, Severus, I think we should get you home so you can get a good nights rest.\" Hermione hugged him tight and apperated.

Severus popped into her living room and looked around. It was small, but cozy with a comfy looking sofa and light brown walls.

Hermione took his hand and led him through a door into a beautiful looking bedroom with a massive bed. It looked Soooo welcoming.

Hermione walked over to the bed and pulled back the covers. Then went to a door opposite the bed.

\"Transfigure a pillow into something you can sleep in and I’ll be back in a moment.\" She said as she exited the room. Severus caught a glimpse of the room she was entering; a bathroom.

Severus searched his pockets and found his wand. He had no idea how it got there, but used in to change a red pillow into some green, silk pj\'s. He quickly changed and was just finished as Hermione walked in wearing a gold, silk robe that was tied loosely at the waist.

\"Right,\" She pushed him down to sit on the bed, \"I\'ll get you sorted and then let you rest.\"

\"Where are you sleeping?\" Severus asked as she help him lie down and pulled the covers over him.

\"On the sofa -\"

\"Oh no!\" He said firmly, \"I will not let you do that. Come here,\" He moved over and flipped the covers open. Hermione dropped her robe to revile a red silk night dress. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her in. He put his arm around her and she snuggled into his side, much to his delight, \"There, now go to sleep. You\'ve more than earned it.\"

\"Good night Severus.\" She murmured.

\"Good night Hermione.\" He placed a light kiss on the top of her head. In no time, they were asleep together.
