Chapter Nineteen
Chapter 19
Early Monday morning found a cheerful Lucius and a happily sardonic Severus taking their vows before a befuddled registrar in the Hall of Records. The marriage contract was brought forth and Severus was relived that he had thought to owl his solicitor the morning before. Perusing one of the crossed out sections he looked up at Lucius with a smirk.
“A chastity belt, Lucius?”
“It is merely a traditional clause in our family’s marital contracts.” Snape raised an eyebrow. “I allowed it to be crossed out, did I not? And, if you will note, I conceded to hiring a human nursemaid as opposed to a house-elf. Do you know how costly that will be?”
“Don’t become a pinch-penny now, Lucius.” As Lucius began to open his mouth to object to that epithet Snape leaned forward and kissed him right in front of the registrar and their solicitors, which shocked everyone including the initiator of the kiss. Snape pulled away and straightened out non-existent wrinkles in his formal robes. Lucius placed his hands on either side of Severus’s face and smiled into his eyes.
“Do I take that as acceptance and perhaps happiness in your new situation?” Snape once again pulled away but kept the eye contact.
“Take it how you wish,” he said but with no real bite to his voice. Lucius nodded.
“I shall.”
A moment later, both parties were satisfied and the contract was signed. Lucius eloquently thanked the registrar and the solicitors for doing double duty as their witnesses and tipped the officiant a handsome amount. Then he turned and escorted Severus to the apparition point.
“I shall meet you for dinner. I will arrange for Draco to join us in Hogsmead if that is acceptable to you?”
“That will be fine.” Severus answered. “Is he aware of your marriage?”
“No, but we will inform him of it tonight. I believe that we will wait to tell him of the other news until he is out of school. I assume you don’t wish it to end up in the school’s gossip mill? It would detract from your reputation.”
“Yes, it would. Which reminds me, I will be resigning at the end of term.”
Lucius smirked. “Of course. I would not have any spouse of mine working.” Snape narrowed his eyes but was soon being soundly kissed. Lucius nibbled at his lips until Severus opened his mouth. Their tongues intertwined and duelled. Snape felt hands at the back of his head and his own hands wandered until they rested on Lucius’s lower back. He then began to drag his clawed hands up and down. Lucius groaned at the sensation and pushed his hardened cock against Severus. A discreet cough was heard and Lucius pulled away, regaining his breath and refusing to pant. Severus was also trying to pull himself out of the erotic haze he was in. Giving a sharp glance over his shoulder at his solicitor with the throat-clearing problem, Lucius then turned and looked at Severus with a smug look.
“I shall see you tonight, Severus. And once we have tucked Draco into bed we will finish what we started.” Then he strode away to his office, his solicitor tagging along behind.
Thinking of sleeping potions suitable for a seventeen year old, Severus apparated away.
