The win was rough for Harry. He had fallen asleep on Draco's shoulder almost imeadiately. His breaths were soft an even, undisturbed by the occasional bump in the road. Draco was jealous, he could never fall asleep after a game, win or lose.
He didn't even focus on the win, which was intresting to him. He just enjoyed Harry's company. Something that was becoming a precious and short event in recent weeks. He loved Harry. When he had given him the ring, it had been the first thing he had done in complete honesty. His hidden side was not a burden anymore. Most of his teamates didn't care if he was with Harry now. Harry had proved his worth to them and amazed Draco.
They pulled back up to the school and Draco woke Harry. "Wake up beautiful." He whispered gently. Harry stired and grinned. He was faking! Draco grinned and shook Harry just enough for both boys to laugh. "Let's go home." Draco said softly. Harry nodded and they got of the bus and walked to his car. Draco slapped Harry's butt, causing the boy to trip a bit and look at him in suprise. Draco pulled Harry into a hug. "That was for sleeping on me." Draco's smile grew to it's widest and both boys kissed.
When Draco and Harry arrived at Harry's house, Harry looked at Draco in suprise. there was another mysterious car there and Harry knew who it was, he didn't look very happy. Draco got out and walked over to Harry's side of the car and opened the door. The first words out of Harry's mouth were, "It's my mom, she's here." He was shaking. "What's wrong?" Draco was worried now. "Remember the letter that I got from her?" Draco nodded. "She wants me to come home. "She sent Uncle Sirius here to convince me."
Draco froze, worry became extreme fear. The look on Harry's face didn't help either. Wrinkled with suprise and confusion, it spoke volumes to Draco, who was convinced Harry was going to leave. Harry hadn't decided anything yet, he had only opened the letter yesterday and he was still not sure what he should do. He knew what he wanted, but he thought maybe that wasn't good enough, he loved his mom and thought he should do what she wanted first. All the fear and confusing thoughts rushed in and he collapsed in Draco's arms. Harry had fainted.
Instinctually, Draco picked him up and took him inside, so he could properly attend to him. He manged to knock on the door, an obviously worn Sirius answered it. "Dear lord, what happend?!" Sirius asked deeply concerned as Draco brought Harry in and laid him on the sofa in the living room. "He just fainted outside." Draco answered calmly, still focused on Harry.
Harry stirred a bit when Draco gently shook him. "Harry, please wake up." He said. He was not really aware of the stranger amongst the group, a woman who was showing concern for Harry as well. Harry did open his eyes and Sirius courtesly brought him some water. "Here Harry." Sirius said kindly. Harry gingerly took the glass and sipped dribbling a bit down the side of his mouth. Draco brushed smiled at him and brushed his bangs of his forehead. "We need to talk." Harry said nervously.
They didn't even aknowledge the crowd that seemed to watch them as Harry lead Draco to the solitude of his room. Harry thought things would be simpler than this, his mother's request had made no sense, but now, being faced with what she wanted, he knew he had to talk to Draco, just to be sure of his choice.
Harry sat on the bed and sighed heavily, unsure where or how to begin his thoughts. Draco sat next to him and rested his hand on Harry's in a show of support. Harry decided to just go for the bang and blurted out, "My mom, she wants me to come stay with her." He let the sudden shock sink in as Draco's hand became tighter on his hand, causing him to wince. "I want to tell her no." Harry added a bit hesitently. "But?" Draco asked calmly. "She's my mom. I don't know what to do."
Draco took notice of the concern in his boyfriend's face. "Look Harry, you should go." He said. He kicked himself violently and wondered what the hell he was doing. Harr looked at him quizically. Draco reboounded quickly. "Look Harry, you'll regret it if you don't, trust me." Draco didn't understand why he was doing this, he didn't care about Harry's Mom, he loved Harry, but maybe that was inevitably why, because he didn't want Harry to be sad.
"So you think I should?" Harry asked simply. Draco nodded and pulled Harry into a one-arm hug and kissed his temple softly. "You need to." He whispered. Harry nodded and rested in Draco's chest for several minutes before he decided to go out and talk with his mother.
It was never an easy task to talk with her. He hated it, she was always sorry for having let him go, essentially trading her son, so she could stay in good standing with her family and though he understood it, it killed him inside. "Sweetie." She said cheerily, pulling him into a lack luster hug. Draco watched from a distance as the scene unfolded like a bad scene from Days of our lives. "I love you so much." She eyed him. "Did you get my letter?" Harry nodded. Draco started to regret his support of Harry going to see her, as he recognized the silent discomfort Harry was sending to him.
"Well," She said a bit too happy for Draco's ears. "I'll go." He said tiredly. "But I can only stay a few days." He said quickly, "I have to be back for a football game." She looked at him as if he had spoken another language, then shook her head, "Ok whatever, go get your things. Draco was not liking this, it was too late now, but something told him this whole deal was bad and he hoped Harry could handle what would happen. Sirius seemed unusually quiet and startled Draco when he came up beside him and spoke, "This is rough seas for Harry, he'll need you when he comes back.
Draco nodded, confused, yet he understood. Harry packed his things, alone by his request. He didn't want Draco to worry about him and goodbyes would only be for a short time but Harry new they would hurt. He came out of the room and handed Sirius his bag. He hugged Draco, hard, so hard. He fought tears back. "I'll be back soon, ok?" Draco nodded lighty as his arms continued their grip, afraid that release meant they would be apart forever. "I love you Harry." He said softly placing a kiss on the boy's cheek.
With that, the two loves were parted, this next battle they would each face alone. As Harry left Draco felt a hard tug at his heart and crystal tears glistened gently in his eyes. The door closed the car engine sputtered and the next few days would be the most painful for them and they knew it.

A/N I am very sorry for such a long delay, I was sooooo lazy, and then we had all this stuff going on, and then I was more lazy and then I had a hard time writting this and it's too short, but I needed to establish a villian. I'm sorry it's lilly, but I didn't want to go the typical mother approves father disapproves route. So I apologize for anyone that might be offended. Please review, this was such a struggle for me and I am really not sure if it's good.
