New Beginnings

Chapter 19: Some news.

Snape hadn’t talked to Sarah about what she had done to Pansy yet and Sarah was still waiting. Her stomach churned at the thought of her being expelled from school. She often thought of going to Snape’s office and asking him what was going on but she couldn’t. she didn’t want to hear what he had to say.

Sarah was on her way to breakfast before her classes. She had woken up a little early since she was not able to sleep well. She walked past Snape’s office thinking of when he was going to talk to her. The office door opened and she didn’t notice.
“Sarah!” Snape called. Sarah spun around and looked at Snape.
“Yes.” Sarah gulped.
“Please come in.” Snape motioned to his office.
“Ok.” Sarah walked into Snape’s office and Snape closed the door behind her.

Draco was following Sarah at a far distance. He didn’t mean to follow her he just happened to be following her. She had left the common room a few minutes before he did.
Draco watched as Snape called Sarah in to his office. He wondered what was going on. Sarah couldn’t be cheating on him. She promised she wouldn’t and he trusted her. But he felt angry and jealous. Snape had had her before he had he and that made him jealous and angry too.
Draco chose to keep walking not wanting to know what was going on in the office by ear. He would ask Sarah about it later.

“So what is my punishment?” Sarah asked.
“Nothing.” Snape sat down at his desk.
“Oh right.” Sarah sat down in front of his desk. “Nothing at all?”
“Professor Dumbledore thought that he thought it would be best just to leave it. Apparently he had been having a lot of complaints from Miss Parkinson.” Snape informed.
“OK.” Sarah nodded. “Is that all?”
“No.” Snape shook his head.
“Well what is it?”
“Miss Parkinson has decided to leave Hogwarts and transfer to Beauxbatons.”
“Well good for her.” Sarah grinned. “If she stayed any longer I have no doubt that she would have been in a load of trouble.” Sarah knew that she was the reason Pansy had left and Sarah was glad of it. Eventually Sarah would have lost it and practically killed her.
“Indeed.” Snape looked at Sarah with and expressionless face.
“Can I ask you something?”
“You may.” Snape sat back in his chair.
“Why can’t I call you by your first name?” Sarah wondered.
“Because I do not think it is appropriate.” Snape answered.
“Well having sex with a student isn’t appropriate either.” Sarah retorted.
“I shall think about it.”
“Fine.” Sarah stood up. “Well I’ll see you later *professor*” Sarah walked out of the office holding on to a little grudge. She walked through the hallways trying to forget Snape, what happened was her fault so she couldn’t do anything about it. She walked up to the main floor and towards the great hall. She saw Ron Harry and Hermione turn in to the same corridor. “Hey guys.” Sarah called.
“Hi.” Harry waved.
“Morning.” Hermione greeted.
“Hi.” Said Ron.
“So I do presume that you and Draco are now together am I right?” Hermione smiled.
“Yes you would be.” Sarah nodded. Sarah looked over at Ron and saw his frown.
“That’s good.”
“Yeah.” Sarah walked over to Ron. “Don’t look like that.” Sarah gave him a hug. “Please.”
“Ok.” Ron sighed. Harry and Hermione looked on. Sarah pulled away and smiled.
“Good. I’ll see you guys later.” Sarah kissed Ron and Harry on the cheek and gave Hermione a hug. She continued walking in to the Great Hall. She saw Draco sitting at the table and walked over to him. “Hi.”
“Hey.” Draco replied dully.
“What’s wrong?” Sarah was concerned.
“Oh, nothing.” Draco shook his head.
“Ok… well guess what.” Sarah said excitedly.
“What?”
“Pansy left.”
“So that’s what you went to see him for today?” Draco wondered, seeming relieved.
“Yes… how do you know I went to see him?”
“Oh I saw you walk in to his office.” Draco answered.
“Oh ok.” Sarah looked down at her food and then back up at Draco. There was something wrong and she knew it. “Draco tell me what’s wrong.””
“I had a dream again.” Draco whispered sadly.
“Again?” Sarah was in shock. She thought that they had stopped. “Is it during a match again?”
“Yes.” Draco nodded.
“But D, I have to play. It’s finals.” Sarah stated.
“No you don’t.”
“Yes I do. Anyway I’m not going to live in fear of a dream.” Sarah decided to just forget about the dreams.
“I dreamed before and it happened.” Draco really didn’t want Sarah to get hurt again.
“That was just a coincidence and I didn’t die. I have to take my chances.” Sarah wasn’t going to sit around and jeopardize her team’s chance of winning the cup because of a dream.
“Sarah please don’t. I don’t think I can go through life knowing you died.” Draco’s eyes went soft.
“Well if I die I die. It would be my fault. You warned me and I ignored you so there’s no need for you to do anything stupid.” Sarah assured.
“But still I’d rather it if you were alive.”
“And I always will be.” Sarah pulled Draco towards her and kissed him passionately.

Ron Harry and Hermione sat down at the Gryffindor table.
“I miss her.” Ron sighed.
“I know Ron.” Harry was getting used to Ron’s blabbing about Sarah. “That’s what you said about Alyssa.”
“But I do!” Ron stated.
“Ok.” Harry chuckled.
“Just forget it Ron. She even told to you get over her.” Hermione said.
“Mione I said don’t bloody talk to me.” Ron snapped.
“Alright.” Hermione looked over to the Slytherin table. “They are so in love. It’s so obvious.” Ron snapped his head towards her.
“Mione maybe you should just eat.” Harry suggested.
“Ok.”
