Hermione laughed as her ten year old son, Severus Lamar Snape Jr., ran around the yard with his friends. Today, Halloween, was his 10th birthday. Snape Manor was filled with friends and family. Jade, her husband Kurt, their kids Kendra and Andrew were there. So was Omar, Lucius, Bella, Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Pansy, as well as most of the Order.
“He reminds me of Severus. Always running around,” Jade laughed as Severus Jr., Andrew and Daniel, Lucius and Bella’s eight-year-old son, ran around the large oak tree in the middle of the yard.
“Yeah, but he also takes after his mother. Reading every book he can get his hands on,” Severus added as he walked up to his wife.
Hermione smiled up at him as she wrapped her arm around his waist. Severus had made a full recovery after Hermione confronted him after the final battle.
Once he was recovered, he resigned from Hogwarts and the couple moved into Snape Manor. Hermione went on to become a Potions Mistress. A month after she received her certification, she gave birth to Severus Jr. The three then traveled the world for six months, before returning to Snape Manor and opening their Apothecary in London.
“Mommy, have you seen my doll? The one Aunt Minerva gave me,” Eden, Hermione and Severus’ six-year-old daughter asked.
“You left it in the library this morning,” Severus smiled.
“Oh yeah. Thanks daddy!” Eden beamed.
“So old man, how does it feel to have everything?” Lucius asked.
Severus looked down at Hermione, then around the yard. His son running around with his cousins, his friends and family scattered around laughing and enjoying the cool, fall weather.
“It feels like paradise,” Severus sighed as he pulled Hermione closer.
“Yes. We are truly blessed,” Hermione smiled brightly as she hugged him tightly.
