3 Wizards and a Witch Pt 2

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN: 3 Wizards and a Witch Pt. 2

Watching Hermione dance with Draco was a lesson in patience for Severus. What was taking place on the dance floor was a million miles removed from the tame traditional ballroom style dances. Draco was pressed flush against her as their bodies moved in perfect sync to the low, thumping beat of the music.

“Bloody hell, I’ve never seen people dance like that before, at least not with their clothes on.” Lucius said, his eyes wide as he watched the young couple on the dance floor.

“I don’t really know if you can call that dancing.” Severus said, his eyes narrowing.

“Are muggles always so forward?” Lucius asked, blinking in astonishment when Draco bent Hermione back over his arm then pulled her slowly back up until she was once again flush against him.

“I spend as much time in the muggle world as you do, Lucius. I have no idea.” Severus said, growing more irritated and more possessive with every slow, grinding movement of the couple dancing.

“Draco swears they never slept together, but damn me if it doesn’t look like they are doing just that right there in front of everyone.” Lucius said, taking a sip of his scotch.

“I’m just going to excuse myself for a moment.” Severus said as he got up and made his way towards the loo. Lucius figured it was less about having to use the facilities and more about not watching Hermione and Draco dancing.

The song ended and Hermione and Draco made their way back to the table.

“Where did Uncle Sev go?” Draco asked, reaching for a glass of water.

“To use the facilities.” Lucius indicated with a slight jerk of his head in the general direction of Severus’s location.

“That’s not a bad idea, will you excuse me?” Hermione said, getting up and heading towards the back hall of the club. She closed her eyes and sighed as she rounded the corner into the darkened, much cooler hall. She yelped when a pair of hands grabbed her and pulled her into a curtained telephone booth.

“Severus!” Hermione sighed in relief when she realized that he was her assailant. “What in the world are you doing grabbing me in a dark hallway? You nearly gave me a heart attack!”

Severus jerked the long black curtain shut and enclosed them in the small, dimly lit cubicle.

“What were you doing on the dance floor with Draco?” He asked, sliding his hands along the side of her neck and skimming his thumbs over her jaw line.

“Dancing.” She said a bit breathlessly. Her eyes closed partway as the rough pads of his thumbs brushed over her soft skin.

“It didn’t look like any dancing I have ever seen.” He said soft and low as he angled her head back. “In fact, watching you made me wonder if you will move like that when I’m inside you.”

Hermione whimpered slightly when Severus nipped gently at her chin. He slid his tongue over her bottom lip and pressed her tight against the cubicle wall. He placed his knee on the bench, making sure his thigh was between hers as he pressed against her. She grasped his shoulders, her hands fisting the fabric of his jacket when she felt him rub against her.

“I am curious; does dancing that way excite you?” He asked, his lips pressed to the underside of her chin.

“No…..oh!” His teeth grazed the side of her neck where her throat and shoulder meet and her whole body shivered.

“You seem excited to me.” He said, his voice vibrating against her collar bone as he trailed his lips over the flesh revealed by her décolletage. His hands slid from her neck to her shoulders and down, cupping her breasts and pinching her nipples through the dress before sliding lower along her waist and around to cup her bum, pulling her tight against him.

“It’s not from the dancing.” She panted, hooking her thigh over his hip and slipping her fingers into his hair. “It’s you….”

Severus smiled slightly against her skin when he felt her fingers pressing into the back of his head. He slid his palm lower and along the back of her thigh until he could feel her smooth skin against his hand. He pushed the skirt higher, bunching it at her waist. He lifted his head and brushed his nose against hers before placing a soft pecking kiss against her lips.

“That’s a good thing, because you are mine.” He whispered, pressing his aroused flesh between her thighs and grinding his hips against her. “I don’t want any man touching you, not even Draco. It’s driving me crazy watching you with him.”

“You could dance with me…..Oh gods, Severus…kiss me please.” She begged, pressing her hips forward, tighter against him in response to his slow tormenting grind.

“I’m too old to be dancing like that.” He said against her cheek, chuckling softly. Her nails bit into his scalp as she pulled his lips to hers and kissed him, moaning into his mouth as he slid his hand down to pull her other thigh up over his hip so that she had her legs wrapped around him as he held her pressed into the cubicle wall.

“But not too old to shag in a phone booth apparently.” She said between kisses. Her tongue slid over his lips and between them. He bit her tongue gently then suckled the invading appendage until she was crying out softly.

“I’m probably too old for that too, but it wouldn’t stop me if that was my intention for bringing you in here.” He whispered roughly against her lips.

“Then what were your intentions?” She asked, her head falling back as he rotated his hips against her again and again.

“I only intended to kiss you, to make certain you remember who it is you belong to.” His lips were moving slowly over hers, soft lingering kisses between his whispered words. “But you tempt me like no other.”

Severus pressed into her one last time before slowly letting her legs slide from around his hips. He kissed her lips again softly and backed away from her, smoothing the skirt of her dress back down. They stood there for several moments, her head resting on his shoulder as they composed themselves.

“I have something for you.” He said softly, his hands moving slowly up and down her arms. She lifted her head and smiled up at him.

“If I have you, then I have everything I want for the moment.” She said.

“Oh, you have me, A Mhuirnín, without a doubt I am wrapped tight around that little finger of yours.” He said. “I have a birthday gift for you.” He reached into his pocket and held his hand out to her, opening his clenched fist slowly. Nestled in his palm was a small, coiled serpent pin. She took it and looked it over curiously. The small, silver pin had tiny emeralds for eyes.

“What is this?” She asked. Severus took the pin from her fingers and removed the back.

“This was my house pin.” He said softly as he pushed aside the neckline of her dress and pinned the serpent to her bra strap. “I want you to wear it….somewhere….everyday.”

Hermione watched his long fingers manipulate the tiny pin into place, then readjust the neckline of her dress. Her eyes were tearing when she smiled up at him.

“Thank you.” She said softly, reaching up to kiss him again. “I promise I will always wear it.”

“We better get back, we’ve been gone awhile.” He said, reluctant to let her go. “I’ll go first, I’ve been gone longest.”

With one last kiss, Severus slipped from within the curtained enclosure and back into the hall.

“How are you enjoying the club?” Severus frowned when he came face to face with Dean Thomas as soon as he exited the cubicle.

“Mr. Thomas, it’s a fine establishment, albeit a bit loud.” Severus said tightly.

“Nothing like it in the magical world, that’s for certain.” Dean said with a laugh.

“If you will excuse me.” Severus said, stepping around the young man to make his way back to the table. Dean was startled when Hermione yanked open the curtain to the cubicle that Snape had just exited.

“Hermione?” Dean looked at her slightly flushed face and swollen lips and then out into the club where Severus was walking back to the table. “What were you doing in there with Snape?”

“Um….we received a message from the school….problem in the Slytherin house….don’t worry, no one saw us using magic.” She lied, hoping that he believed her.

“Oh, well it always seems to be Slytherins causing all the trouble doesn’t it? Don’t know how you put up with them.” Dean said, his attention being pulled away by club patrons who were arguing. “Will you excuse me?” He said distractedly as he walked away from her.

Hermione sighed in relief before heading back to their table.

“Where is Draco?” She asked as she sat down.

“He went to the bar and is apparently chatting up some muggle female.” Lucius said curling his lip. “He better not bring her into my house.”

“Don’t worry, he takes the muggle girls to his flat up town.” Hermione said, smiling at Lucius as she reached for her glass of water.

“Oh? And where do you take your young men?” Lucius asked. Hermione sputtered into her glass and reached for a napkin to wipe her chin when she looked up at Lucius in surprise.

“Um…I don’t take young men anywhere.” She said, her cheeks flushing. Lucius sat back and smiled at her then looked over at Severus who was staring down into his glass.

“Alright then, where do you take your older men?”

“Lucius!” Hermione reached across the table and pulled a lock of his hair. “Don’t be an arsehole.” She said.

“Ouch! It was a simple question, I never see you with anyone.” Lucius said, observing the glance exchanged between his two companions with interest. The band had cleared the stage and a DJ was now playing the music, a slow song calmed the atmosphere of the club as the lights stopped pulsing and grew dim. Couples migrated to the dance floor and came together, including Draco and the muggle woman he had been chatting with.

“Come dance with me, Lucius.” Hermione said. “Make it up to me.” She looked over at Severus and he could see clearly what she couldn’t say. She would rather have asked him, but knew she had to protect their secret.

“Do I have to?” He asked, looking rather put out at the idea.

“Yes, you do.” She said, grabbing his hand and pulling him from the chair. He followed her reluctantly, glancing over his shoulder at Severus.

“Do me a favor and cut in if she tries to make me dance for more than one song.” He said. Severus leaned back in his chair and watched as Lucius put his hand at her waist and took her hand in his. It almost looked as though he was going to try and waltz with her, but he took his cues from the others dancing around them and led her in a slow, rocking motion to the music.

Severus watched them dance, pleased to see that they kept their distance. As the first song ended and another began, Lucius looked up at Severus. He pushed himself from his chair as though he were reluctant to cut in, but in truth he couldn’t wait to reach her. He tapped Lucius on the shoulder with more force than was actually necessary, earning himself a frown from his old friend.

“May I?” He asked. Lucius stepped back and handed Hermione into Severus’s arms. Smirking slightly as he made his way back to the table.

“I didn’t think you wanted to dance with me, at least not here.” Hermione said softly.

“Not to the music they were playing earlier, but this is fine.” He said, brushing his thumb back and forth over her hand where it was clasped in his.

“I just saw Draco slip out with his new friend. I guess he figures you and Lucius will see me home.” She said, unconsciously moving closer to him.

“I will see you home.” He said quietly, placing both his hands on her waist as her arms wrapped around his shoulders.

“Can you stay, or do you have to get back to the school?” She asked, staring at his mouth and wishing she could kiss him.

“Minerva is acting in my stead tonight; I am free to stay with you if that is what you want.” He said.

“It’s what I want.” She said, resting her chin on his shoulder as they finished the dance.

When they got back to the table it was to find Lucius gone as well as Draco and Dean was waiting for them.

“I let Mr. Malfoy use my office to disapparate home.” Dean said. “He wanted me to tell you to make sure you get Hermione home safely, and that he will talk to you soon.”

“Well then, are you ready to go?” Severus asked, looking down at her.

“Sure.” She said softly. “Thank you Dean, we had a great time.” She gave him a quick hug and then led Severus back through the bar to the coat check where they collected their coats.

“Is there someplace close we can disapparate from?” Severus asked.

“There is an alley Draco and I use sometimes between the club and another building.” She said, leading him around the corner and into the alley. He put his arms around her waist and with a slightly nauseating pull in her stomach, they vanished from the alley.
