A new beginning
'What the, I thought you would at least be sitting in your bed by now.' Ginny came for the second time that morning to wake him up, thinking that if he didn't get packed soon he wouldn't have time for it later. 'Come on, only seven more hours before were done for this year, you will be free after that. Well, you still have your exams but let's not think about that now. Get up Harry.'
'Take it easy.' He knew she only had his best interest in mind but being this aggressive in the morning was too much for him.
'Get up; you need to look good for your boy.'
'He isn't my boy.'
'What? What do you mean? What happen Harry?' She stopped the pulling and sat down besides him while holding his hand to try and comfort him even if she didn't know what happened.
'It has been going up and down between us but yesterday it went so low that it's the end.'
'What happened? Did he say anything or do anything to you?'
'It's not entirely his fault; I didn't tell him the whole truth either. He thought I have gone through with the abortion so he called me a murderer.'
'Oh Harry, I'm so sorry. Will you tell him it was a mistake? I am sure he will apologize for his actions.'
'I'm not sure about what to do yet.'
'No rush, seven hours and then we have the train ride back home, and you can always contact him afterwards.'
'No rush you say? I'll get up now on my own, meet you down for breakfast.' She smiled while clapping his hand two times and leaving; he knew perfectly well she would be battling herself so she wouldn't go down and tell Draco the truth. Quickly he got up from his bed and headed over to the showers before he packed his things and headed down for some breakfast. He meet Ginny on his way down, she was heading up to see if he had gone back to sleep again since it took him so long to come down.
After Harry had his breakfast they headed over to Hagrid's for one last time before the summer holyday. Ginny wasn't as much of a friend with Hagrid as Ron and Hermione but they talked like they were old friends. Hagrid was looking forward to travel with his brother.
Harry thought he had enough time that day, but the seven hours was passing quicker by than he knew, luckily for him he had packed that morning.
The last two hours was spent in the main hall, the end of the school was always like that, but this year it was different. It wasn't only because he was finishing school or because he was pregnant; or that his arch nemesis was the father of his baby, but it was the whole thing of the unknown future. Before he knew perfectly well that he would stay at the Dursley’s for two months and then go back to school, but what he would do now was unsure.
Hermione had planned to take up law, Ron was still unsure, Neville knew he wanted to work with herbiology, Dean wanted to be a free artist, mostly painting and Seamus, he was unsure what to do but had been offered a job in the twin's shop as a tester. Harry wasn't sure about what Lavander wanted to be but it was something with fighting for rights for everyone, and Parvati was going to be a healer, and her sister Padma was going to work with magical cosmetics. While Harry thought about all the things his friends was going to be he knew that it wasn't for him, not only their occupation but work itself. He didn't want to get any job because he was Harry Potter, he wanted to live in peace and raise his child alone, but his name would always follow him
He realized what he really wanted to do; he wanted to be a father. The only thing he was unsure about was what to do with Draco; did he really want him in his life? Yes. He wanted Draco because he loved him; he wanted Draco because he loved Harry back.
Someone sat down besides Harry and woke him up from his thoughts. Ron sat there and was looking at his hands, nervously swallowing before turning over to Harry.
'I'm really sorry mate, been acting like a jerk haven't I?' Harry could say yes, but that would make Ron feel worse and then he would feel bad because he mad him feel that way.
'No, it was my fault too.'
'Don't be stupid, I have completely ignored you and even sent Neville over to ask about how you were, if that isn't stupid then I don't know.'
'That is stupid, but you couldn't help it, I would probably do the same thing.'
'You wouldn't. Look Harry, I know we have all been acting like jerks towards you, but this is the last day and I don't want us to finish school without talking together.'
'Are you and Hermione planning the wedding yet?'
'Don't change the subject here, I'm trying to apologize.'
'Don't worry about that; let's rather talk about things that are more important before Dumbledore comes with his speech.' Harry knew Ron was sorry, and probably everyone else to but that didn't matter, their behaviour couldn't affect his future.
They had ten minutes to talk before Dumbledore came to annunciate the school cup, Hufflepuff was first, followed by Gryffindor and then Slytherin, leaving Ravenclaw on the bottom. Then a short speech was held before it was time to eat.
Hermione had gathered enough courage to also talk to him, and so had other students. But all that apologizing and small chatting was distracting him from what he really wanted to do, talk to Draco. He didn't notice the blond between the Slytherin’s at first, he wasn't sure he was there until he saw him between Parkinson's embrace. At first he thought he was seeing things but it was real, Draco was there and she bent over him, stroking his hear.
Every word his friends spoke didn't reach his ear, until Ginny came over to him and shook him. The reality of everything was unreal, how could Draco be between her arms? He knew he was jealous, but most of all he was sad, that Draco could betray him like that so soon.
'Harry, look at me.'
'Leave me alone.'
'Look at me, not at him.' She must know what Harry felt when he saw Draco, she must have known since she desperately tried to make him look away. When Draco turned his head and was looking straight at Harry he knew it was real, it was him in the hands of that girl. Draco didn't smile or do anything; just looking at Harry. Draco continued to look at Harry until he couldn't take it anymore, it was hurting to much. Quickly he got up from his seat and then left the hall. Draco must have known that it was painful to see him like that, it was probably a payback.
Harry was sitting outside the entrance until the carriages came, he didn't want to be anywhere near what reminded him about Draco; but that was impossibly since he saw Draco in everything that was around him.
Since he was the first one to enter the train he got to chose any of the compartments, and he took the one in the back, there would be no one that was walking past it and glancing inside.
He heard the train be filled up as he sat there and was looking out the window, students laughing and having fun, not a worry in the world. Slowly he closed his eyes, crying by the knowledge that he would never be like them again.
Suddenly the compartment door swung open, Harry would slowly look up, expecting Ginny or Luna or any other of his friends but seeing Draco, and angle where he stood in the light by the sunset. What was he doing there? He thought Draco never wanted to talk to him, so why had he changed his mind and went to see Harry?
'You are not leaving from here, without me.' Harry wasn't sure what to answer back, this was all so unexpected. Had Ginny used a spell on him or was he just out of his mind. 'Why the hell are you so mean? Not telling me that you are still pregnant.'
'I told her to not say a word.'
'Who? Nobody told me a thing, I can feel it. If you ever try to lie to me again I'll punish you, in the sack but it will still be a punishment.' Harry couldn't help being shocked by Draco's words, was he planning to live with Harry? 'Look here Harry, I'm sorry for what I said and did, I should have waited for you to answer and not run away like that, I'm really sorry my love.' Draco walked over to Harry and took his face between his hands before he kissed him, not caring if anyone saw him. When the kiss was over Draco was looking Harry straight in his eyes and then asking him for forgiveness while telling him that what they had together was something special and he loved Harry.
The compartment door swung open, Harry was looking up and saw Ginny, Draco was no where to be seen. His heart hurt, his fantasy was so real and comforting that waking up and facing the reality again was harsh.
'I have been looking for you, thank god I found you now.'
'Anything special you want from me since you won't let me have some peace?'
'I thought you wouldn't go home.'
'I won't, what used to be my home as you put it won't be anymore. Voldemort is dead so there is no way I'm going back there.'
'Where will you go?'
'I'll check into a hotel in the muggle world and then look for an apartment or even house.'
'In the muggle world?'
'Maybe, I'm not completely sure yet.' The best way he could stay away from the media was if he lived in the muggle world, none would think he would do that since he was so famous.
Ginny sat down besides him, he wanted to be alone but this was the last day of school. Luna came about five minutes later and they would all sit there and talk, even if Harry hardly said a word. The only thing he could think about was Draco and how he wished the compartment door to open up again and Draco would stand there.
The door never reopened, and Draco never came to him. He knew that it was impossible, Draco hated him, but he couldn't help hoping and wishing. This was probably for the best, things would never have worked between them, their friends and family would probably never like it, besides Ginny and Luna and maybe Snape.
But that didn't help him; it still hurt to think about Draco in the arms of that girl. He shouldn't be sad, he should be angry and pissed off, but he loved Draco too much to want to be angry at him.
When they reached London Ginny and Luna had a tearful goodbye with Harry, and before they parted they made him promise to write to them. Harry knew he shouldn't have but he couldn't help looking for Draco. He noticed the blond besides his father that was talking with Crabbe and Goyle’s fathers. Draco didn't turn around, his head was hanging, and his eyes closed. None of the Slytherin’s noticed Harry standing there and looking at them, and he didn't want them to see him either; so he took his things and left, not bothering to look back at anyone.
That was the end of that year; he would put everything behind him and start a new life. Voldemort was dead, he was still alive and his friends were alive. There was nothing else he wished for, there was one thing but that was off limit; Draco.
No, he had to promise himself to go forwards, not back. He could choose his own future, and it would be a good one, with or without Draco.
His new life would begin; it started in a small hotel at first but expanded over to a house on the countryside, all alone without even his friends knowing the location. He liked it that way, no one could bother him.
The best part was that after four months his wonderful baby was born, a small girl that he called Eri, and she was his pride and love.

A/N::
Someone was right about this ending, and that is interesting I think. I love this story and continuing it is pretty tempting, but I don't want to over do it as J. K. Rowling did with the last chapter, where everything ends good, that is even a bigger cliché than it ending with the lovers together.
Thanks to everyone that takes the time to review it and to everyone that takes the time to read it. When I finish this story I’ll post a new one.
