Harry made his way back toward his
study, mentally cataloguing what he’d do to Blaise
once the little hanging time was over and done with. On the upside, after this
was over Blaise would not bother him with this
particular kink for another several months, and perchance pay a bit more mind
to Pansy Zambini instead. It wasn’t so much that
Harry didn’t enjoy the occasional romp with the other boy, but right now he had
other things that demanded his attention, least of which his ever-present stack
of documents.

He leaned against the door of his
study after gently opening it, admiring the way all of his Pet’s attention was
placed firmly on the thick tome before the blond. He absently wondered which of
the study’s books the blond had chosen, knowing none to be of any particular
entertainment value. He walked over carefully, not wanting to spook the blond,
only to loose all interest in the blasted book’s identity. He ran his hands
from the bare shoulders down the arms, slightly startling his Pet, covering the
hands and making the blonde snap the big book closed a second later. He wasn’t
mad that the other boy had read in his absence, really, and an Idea was already
forming as far as utilizing the situation went.

“You know,” he began, whispering
into the near-by ear as he pulled the heavy book from limp fingers, setting it
on the nearest shelf, “I was going to give you something nice and sparkly.”

It was true, too, he had meant to
give him the collar, the box set on his desk’s edge. But that could wait.

“And here I find you reading…” he glanced at the book’s
spine, the title making him re-read it twice before naming it “a book on
foreign policy of all things.”

“Forgive me Master, I-”

“Should have told me you harbored bookworm tendencies.” he finished,
“though why you chose that of all
thinks I shall never understand.”

“It was open,” his Pet mumbled, making Harry realize that he
had, in fact, been looking something
up in that monster of a bore a while back.

“It…it won’t
happen again, Master.”

“I should hope not, foreign policy books are style='mso-bidi-font-style:normal'>dreadfully boring.”

“I meant-”

“I know what you meant,
Pet,” Harry assured, pulling the smaller body flush against him with the arm
that had slithered its way around the blond’s middle.
Oh, if only he didn’t need to get back to Blaise
soon.

class=GramE>He appirated them both, smirking at how
disorienting the action proved to the body in his arms.

“Now, before I let you loose in there, you need to remember
a few things;

One, you are to be prompt to all meals.

Two, if you so much as touch
a book on the Dark Arts, wandless magic or other
shadow art… hell, even linger near those sections without my expressed
permission, you’ll never so much as see a
book again. Agreed?”

He felt the head nod against his chest, realization
apparently sinking in.

“The last
four shelves on either side of the window are off limits.” Harry statedclass=GramE>, making sure it was clear where the forbidden books lay. “An
elf can get any of the higher books for you if you ask nice enough…”

He pushed the blond in, smirking briefly before warning him
about dinner and popping out to take care of Blaise. style='mso-spacerun:yes'>

AN: Yes, short. Sorry. I'll add another one soon however, and I do plan on pulling Blaise out of the picture, for all of you who are concerned.
