Title: Move heaven and earth~ part nineteen

Warnings and notes: This is a slash fic, which means that it involves two guys having strong feelings for one another (and sex). This is your only warning; so if you do not like reading about two men in love, then don’t read. Go read some other fic. Do not harass the author, please. And there is some strong language in here!

Note that this is the sequel to Protégé. Must read Protégé first before you read this so you can understand what’s going on.

More notes: Many things are going to happen in this sequel. So, if you don’t understand anything right away, just wait for it to be clarified later ok?

Special thanks goes to my lovely beta reader Brandy for correcting any kind of errors that I have overlooked.

Contents: This fic will contain A LOT of Slash, humor, sap, drama, angst, adventure (let’s hope), and lemon.

Pairings: Draco/Harry, Ron/Hermione, Remus/Sirius, Ginny/Cho

Rating: R. NC-17 over all

Year: 6th—winter

Disclaimer: I do NOT own any of these characters! J.K. Rowlings is the wonderful person who does, and I wish her luck with her next book.

Sappiness abound!! Don’t you love sap? ^___^

Oh yeah, and there’s a *special* moment between Harry and Draco in here. . . (hint hint) And my beta, Brandy, said that it was *classy!* Yay!! #^_^#

Oh, and Harry and Draco finally have their little talk, which I know is a bit late with the emotions, but remember—Draco is a very good actor when it comes to his inner feelings.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a hectic week for the lovers. They hardly had the time to spend together, and Draco had said that he wanted to talk about something with him. When Harry found out that his sly boyfriend wasn’t in the Slytherin common room, he went on a Draco hunt.
He had ran into Dobby first, noticing that the poor elf was fidgeting and he wanted to ask Harry all kinds of questions, but Harry told Dobby that he was too busy right now, and to stop over later at the Gryffindor common room to meet with him. Harry didn’t tell the old House-elf that he was looking for Draco, because he didn’t want Dobby to worry either. Dobby nodded and went on his way.
He saw something from the corner of his eye and turned his head quickly. At first, Harry thought that the shadow across the wall belonged to his boyfriend, when it was really his godfather.
“Oh, Harry! Hey, I’ve been wanting to speak to you.”
Harry knew that he had to have his talk with his godfather someday. He nodded and walked slowly over to Sirius.
“Good evening, Sirius.” Harry said in a rather jaded way.
“Gods, Harry, are you ok? You look worn out for wear.”
Harry sighed heavily, almost too dramatically, and tried to put on a smile for his godfather. “Just a little tired, and worried sick. . .” Harry kicked himself for telling Sirius, but he knew he had to talk to someone.
“Worried? What are you worried about, Harry?”
Harry frowned and then shook his head. He didn’t want to put this burden, or any, for that matter, on his godfather.
“It’s just Draco. . . he’s not around and I’m searching for him. . .”
“Ah, your boyfriend now, correct?” Sirius watched as a slight tint formed in Harry’s cheeks. “A Slytherin as a boyfriend . . . how weird. I mean, I never thought that you of all people, Harry, would take a Slytherin . . . I’m glad that you’re happy and everything, I just. . . I never really have trusted any Slytherin. Well, except for Snape, so far.” He tried to give Harry a reassured smile.
“Yeah, I know. But I can trust Draco. He’s my . . . we have a Power Surge.”
“Um, I’ve been wanting to talk to you about stealing my motorbike, but I think that maybe we should have a heart to heart talk about this first.”
Harry looked up from the floor, it not being real interesting anymore, and met Sirius’ light brown eyes. He was tired, exhausted, tense, and very anxious . . . he wasn’t in the mood for the heart to heart talk yet.
“Look, Sirius, I’m sorry about taking your Harley without your permission, but I was in a rush to get Draco back. And please don’t interrupt . . .” Harry said, when he saw that his godfather was about to speak, “Let me finish. I wasn’t in my right mind that night. When I discovered that Draco had been kidnapped, all I could think about was him, and what his father would do to him. I was afraid that he would get killed. You know that Fudge is very slow on the uptake, so I decided to take action. If I haven’t gotten there when I did, his father would have killed him. I don’t think I could have lived with the pain and guilt. And as Dumbledore had said, a detention, or even more, is worth having Draco back safe and sound.”
Sirius smiled and nodded. “I totally agree with you, Harry. I would have done the same thing for Remus.”
Harry smiled at this. “I know about you two.”
Sirius blushed. “I had a feeling you would.”
“Yeah, and I would love to tell you all about the Pensieve that I was in while I was in my coma, but right now I need to find where my slippery boyfriend went to.”
“Um, hey, I was wondering if sometime me and you and our . . . other halves, could go to Hogsmeade on a double date some day.”
Harry smiled. “I’d love to.”
~**~
The ceremony wasn’t too big, but it meant a lot to Draco. And the weather was rather nice, considering that it was toward the end of December. Standing at the foot of a couple graves, Draco held onto his black and rose-colored urn tightly to his chest. He shivered a little frhe che cold wind, but he continued to hold his head high. He promised his dead mother’s ashes that he wouldn’t cry anymore, and that he would act like a man from now on, and he also promised that he’d avenge her someday. If not Lucius, then he’d take down Voldemort.
“I believe I’ve already avenged you guys, but. . .” Draco sighed and looked down at the urn, “What I’m about to do is for my mother. I’m sure you guys would understand.” He smiled a bit as he looked at each grave in turn, “Thank you for sticking by me, no matter what side I was on. Thank you for being loyal.”
He took out his wand, pointed at the middle of the headstones, and then enounced a spell that his mother taught him long ago. Large silvery flowers with bright green stems grew from the ground.
Draco looked at the inscriptions on the graves and smiled, “Loyal To The End. That about says it all.”
“There you are.”
Draco turned and then gasped. “Harry!”
“So, this is where I find my boyfriend at one in the morning.”
“Sorry that I didn’t tell you. It’s just that I wanted some privacy. . .”
“Oh! I don’t mean to intrude. . .”
“Don’t worry about it.” Draco said. “I wanted to ask you. . .”
Harry then leaned down to take Draco’s lips with his own. Draco was shocked but he went with the kiss for a while, and then pushed Harry away.
“Draco?”
To Harry’s surprise, Draco had a scowl on his face and his eyes looked wet. “How can you act like this??”
“What? What are you talking about?” Harry said. He felt a hitch ride up in his throat.
“You’re acting as if nothing happened! For fuck’s sake, Harry, I tried to kill you!”
“You didn’t mean to. . .”
“No, no, that’s *not* what I meant . . . that isn’t my point!” Draco sighed and then clutched onto his mother’s urn tighter, “What I mean is that I used an Unforgivable Curse on you! It was the same one that got your parents killed, and that demon monster. Aren’t you the least bit angry with me??”
“Well, yes, I was. . . but you already went through so much. . .”
Draco pushed Harry a bit harder, “That doesn’t count, you bloody moron!! You’re supposed to be mad at me!”
Harry stumbled a little but then stood up straight again. He tilted his head to the side like a puppy and then raised an eyebrow. “Am I? Funny, I don’t feel mad.”
“HARRY!” Draco screamed, a small tear fell loose from the corner of one eye. “You’re not being fair! You’re supposed to be bloody pissed off and you’re supposed to be on the verge of breaking up with me!”
Harry gasped. “Why would I want to break up with you if I still love you?”
“BLOODY HELL!” Draco screamed, “You just HAD to say that, didn’t you?? You had to use the ‘L’ word! Do you know, do you have any idea how completely fucked up love is? It’s fucking loony!” Draco walked over and grabbed onto Harry’s school tie, “You don’t deserve me, Harry! Leave me! Or. . . or punish me! I deserve whatever punishment you can dish out!”
“Calm down, Draco.” Harry placed a hand onto the one D was was holding his tie with, “I’m not breaking up with you, and Dumbledore had already given you your punishment for doing the killing curse. . .”
“No, *you* punish me, you ignorant prat! I did something so very unforgivable to you and you’re not even thinking about it?? I deserve to be punished, damn it all! So do it, you stupid Gryffindor goit!![1] Give me my just desserts!”
“Did you just call me a ‘goit’?”
“You heard me, twinkle toes! Punish me!”
Harry grabbed onto the back of Draco’s neck and then pulled him in for a kiss. Draco struggled for a while, but the kiss got the better of him and he went with it. This time the kiss was slow and sweet. Draco could feel all the tension in his body ease up. His mother’s urn was pressed hard between them.
“You’re already getting punished by your conscience, my sly lover.” Harry said, his lips just barely touching Draco’s. His eyes were lidded and heavy with what Draco could tell was real love. “You don’t need any more pain.”
Draco felt the other tear slide down his flushed cheek.
“I don’t. . . I don’t deserve you. . .” Draco whispered, almost choking on his words.
Harry shut his eyes, letting a small smile form on his face. He gently kissed Draco again, and said, “You deserve happiness, Draco. . . everyoneerveerves that. You give me happiness and I thank you for that.”
Draco choked again. He had to turn his head to cough, and Harry patted his back. He looked back up into Harry’s eyes and smiled softly. “Thanks, Harry. But I haven’t given you happiness for five years. . . I gave you pain and. . . I don’t know what else. I’m sorry that I’ve put you through all of that.”
“No need to apologize to me. I understand why you were that way.” Harry wiped away the wet trail on Draco’s cheek with his thumb. The tear streak on the other side of Draco’s face was drying up.
Draco was speechless. He had so many thoughts running through his head, but he couldn’t voice them. His lips trembled slightly and then he leaned his head down onto Harry’s chest, the urn fell to the ground.
Harry instantly wrapped his arms around Draco and pulled him to his body. He slowly started to rub Draco’s back, letting his boyfriend soil the collar of his shirt. It was a rare thing to see Draco Malfoy cry, which he had done before. But it was even more rare to *make* Draco Malcry cry tears of *happiness*, or whatever this was.
Yes, he was sure that it was happiness. He made Draco Malfoy happy. This put an even bigger smile on Harry’s face.
“My godfather invited us to Hogsmeade this coming weekend. He’ll be with Lupin. It’ll be like a double date. I said okay, but I don’t know what you want to do. . .”
Harry felt Draco nod. Draco mumbled something and Harry had to ask him what he said. Draco moved his head to the side so that his mouth was free of clothing.
“I said sure. Sounds good.”
Harry tightened his hold on Draco. “Are you positive? You don’t have to come along if you don’t want to. . .”
Draco looked up. His eyes were soaked and rimmed with red. There was a small scowl on his pale features. “I said yes, Harry. I want to go. Are you really that thick?”
“Just checking. I don’t want to be making the decision for you or anything.”
Draco put his forehead onto Harry’s shoulder blade. “I know. I’m sorry.”
Harry kissed the top of Draco’s head. “It’s okay.” He sighed. He was having a short argument in his head to say something, and he finally decided that it was a good idea to say it now, since Draco needed to hear it more than anything right now. “Draco. . . I love you.”
This didn’t produce the reaction he thought he’d get. Draco buried his head into Harry’s chest again and started to cry . . . again. Harry sighed and looked up to the heavens. He didn’t think he’ve tve to go through this kind of thing with a boy. A girl he could understand, but Draco Malfoy? Well, the boy was very sensitive right now, and full of emotion, for once. He’d been through a lot of crap, too. Yeah, Harry understood perfectly.
Draco needed to be weak once in a while. He didn’t need to be the head male all the time. Harry smiled, snuggling up to Draco. The blond Slytherin was so fragile right now, in his embrace, that he was nothing but a green and white puddle of goo. Harry had to be the strong and supportive male now. . . and for some reason, this gave him a slight libido boost. Harry looked around and saw that there was a very nice spot, clear of snow, under a few trees that looked perfect.
Gently, Harry led Draco and him over to that clear spot under the canopy of trees and got him to sit down with him. Draco was so distressed that he didn’t realize what they were doing until Harry forced his head up and touched his lips lightly.
Draco sniffed a bit, kissed back, and then looked around like he didn’t know where he was. He looked up into Harry’s eyes with that question shining in his own.
“We didn’t move far.” Harry said when he saw the look of confusion, “Just thought you’d like to relax for a bit.”
Draco wrapped an arm around Harry’s neck and pulled him down for another kiss. Harry took that cue to lean over him more, laying Draco down onto the soft ground. Harry had never taken the lead role before, and the feeling was making his groin stir something fierce.
He felt so soft and hard at the same time. Harry moaned a little inside of Draco’s mouth. This gotten a response from his Slytherin lover, and Draco pulled him down on top of him. Harry straddled Draco’s slim waist, not taking his lips from Draco’s, and slowly started to slip Draco’s tie off.
The full moon shone between the leaves of the trees, giving Draco an almost ghost like appearance. The tears in Draco’s eyes looked almost crystalline in the moonlight, his eyes were more silver looking, and his hair practically glowed. As Harry removed more pieces of Draco’s clothing, more and more bits of pale skin became exposed in the moonlight. The Slytherin was absolutely breathtaking.
Harry couldn’t resist tasting that skin, producing small shivers from his lover. It fueled Harry’s fire more, and he practically ripped the clothinght oht off of Draco’s body. He watched Draco give himself up to him, spreading himself before Harry, making himself look more vulnerable than he was already. Harry gulped a large lump in his throat. He couldn’t help himself anymore, and he began to kiss every part that he could get to.
Draco arched up into Harry’s touch. He had no idea that surrendering to Harry could ever feel this good. He wanted Harry to take control, to control him, to be inside of him . . . he moaned out loud, trying his best to show Harry what he wanted. He needed this, more than anything.
Harry understood almost immediately. He took out his wand from his pocket, discarded his robe, and then began to take the rest of his clothes off. He left his glasses on, just in case. He used the same magic spell that Draco had used on him that first time, lubing himself and Draco and began to prepare him. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt Draco more.
Draco was very sensitive to his every touch, Harry noticed. A feathery brush of his fingertips sent chills down the other boy’s spine, and a gentle caress got him to moan, or he’d shiver and roll his eyes. His other more . . . manly parts . . . were sensitive as well. Harry took his time exploring, tasting, squeezing . . . by the time Harry had prepped Draco, the blond was shaking so badly that he was almost in tears again.
The Slytherin never begged out loud. It must be a Malfoy thing, or maybe it was a Slytherin thing, but Draco’s pride was making him stay silent. Harry wasn’t sure at first if he should respect that silence, or make him talk. Draco had been through so much already that maybe a more quiet love making was something that Draco really needed right now.
Draco was begging, though, but with his body. Harry could see how much he needed him by just watching his every movement. Draco had his eyes shut tightly, his cheeks were red, but Harry wasn’t sure if it was from the slight chill of the night air, or if it was from something else. Harry saw Draco’s eyelashes flutter once in a while, especially when he would touch him the right way. Not only would his lashes react, but so would his bottom lip, his chest, his hands, toes, and the little muscle at the end of his eyebrow, which would twitch like mad.
Harry finally lifted Draco’s legs up over his shoulders and very slowly began to enter him. Draco’s bottom half started to shake, and he grasped onto the cool blades of wilting grass underneath his hands. Draco threw his head back, opened his mouth, and then cried out softly. Harry wiped away a bead of sweat as he continued to ease inside of his boyfriend. Draco was so warm and tight that it was hard for Harry to stay still.
When Draco squeezed his inner muscles over Harry’s erection, Harry couldn’t help it anymore and he started to move back and forth, but slowly. He shut his eyes, feeling the intensity of it all, and their Power Surge was growing at an alarming rate. Harry felt the growth, and prayed that no one would interrupt them. If anyone attacked them now, the poor bastards would wish they never did.
Their steady act went on for what they thought was hours, but it didn’t really last that long. The rhythm of their heartbeats sped up as their hips did. Draco was the first to make any sound, which was hesitant, fueling Harry’s fire even more. He felt a warmth against his cool stomach. In a great breath, puffing out of his mouth in a misty cloud, Harry threw his head back and groaned out Draco’s name. He pumped a few final times inside of his lover, and then pulled out.
Before Harry could reach for his clothes, Draco dragged him down to him. Their lips met, still full of lust and want after what they just did. Their kiss heated up as their movements increased. Harry brought a hand up to Draco’s hair and ran his fingers through the loose strands of his bangs.
When Harry finally released Draco’s lips, they stared into each other’s eyes. Harry smiled, getting Draco to smile. Draco let out a shaky breath and then suddenly said, “Thank you.”
Harry sniggered under his breath. “Yeah, any time, love.”
“Remember to pick out a nice tree. One that’s not too small or too prickly.” Hermione said to the lovers, handing an axe to Harry.
Harry sighed, taking the Muggle tool reluctantly. “Hermione, I *know* what kind of tree I’m getting. Dumbledore already gave me an example of what we’re to look for.”
Draco shook his head as he looked at his chopping tool. He really wanted to use his wand, but it was supposed to bpunipunishment. He eyed the sharp end of the axe and made a face. “What if I accidentally cut off my leg or something? Dumbledore would have something to answer for then!”
Harry looked over at him, “I don’t think you’re clumsy enough to do that, love. Besides, I’ll be showing you how to chop properly.”
Draco rolled his eyes. “Oh, goodie! A Muggle lesson! My heart’s all aflutter now!”
They all heard Ron scoffing in the corner of the common room. Yes, Harry had let Draco into the Gryffindor common room, to Ron’s dislike. But it was just for a while anyways.
“Why don’t you do us all a favor and accidentally chop your head off?” Ron said.
Harry turned and glared at his friend. “That wouldn’t be a favor from me, and you know it! You know what I’d do if he really did that??”
“Calm down, he was only joking.” Hermione said. She wrapped Harry’s scarf around his neck. “Now bundle up warm. I don’t want you two catching pneumonia.”
“Well, maybe not Harry.” Ron said.
“Can I chop his legs off and use HIM as the tree? He’s got half of the seasonal colors already.” Draco glowered.
“You do, Malfoy, and you’ll be missing a vital part of your body. And I know that Harry wouldn’t like which part I would remove either.”
“Ron. . .” Harry warned, about to actually tell his friend off when Hermione placed a hand onto his shoulder. He looked over at her and she shook her head.
“Ignore him,” she whispered. “He’s just bitter today, and I don’t know why.”
Harry looked over at his redheaded friend again and saw that he was glaring daggers at Draco. “I think I know why.” Harry said under his breath.
~*~
There wasn’t much snow on the ground when Harry and Draco walked out toward a part of the forest. They were holding hands tightly, gathering as much warmth from each other as possible.
Harry halted his lover as he stopped next to a pine tree. “How about this one?”
Draco shook his head. “Too short.”
They wandered around for a while and then Harry spotted another tree. “What about this tree?”
“Nope. Too furry.”
Harry sighed and then pointed at another pine tree that was next to the one he just asked about. “Well then, how about that one?”
“Too green.”
“Draco!” Harry huffed.
“What?” Draco blinked innocently.
“I don’t want to be out here forever. Let’s just pick one that looks decent and start chopping.”
“We need the prefect tree, remember?” Draco said. “That’s what Dumbledore said. . .”
“Fine! YOU pick out the tree, then!”
Draco smiled triumphantly. “Okay!” He pulled Harry along the rows of trees. After walking for what Harry guessed was about five or six minutes, Draco stopped in front of a particular tree. “This one.” He smiled up at it.
Harry looked up and his mouth fell open. “This one?? Draco. . . this has to be at least fifty or sixty feet tall!”
“I think it’s eighty actually. But it’s perfect!”
“It’s too tall!” Harry argued.
“The Headmaster didn’t say that it couldn’t be too tall, he said it couldn’t be too short. Come on, let’s cut it down.”
Harry was still gaping. “But. . . how are we getting it back? It’s just so huge and. . .”
“Magic, of course!” Draco said with a twinkle in his eye. “Dumbledore never said anything about using magic after we got the tree cut down!”
Harry sighed and rolled his eyes. “You really are impossible!”
Draco pulled Harry closer to him and planted a quick kiss on his lips. “Yes, but you love me.”
“Don’t you even start using that against me!” Harry scoffed. “Love isn’t supposed to be used as a weapon.”
Draco pouted. “But—but, Harry! I really *like* this tree! I *seen* it last year and I was like ‘oh, this is the prefect Christmas tree!’ But I couldn’t say anything to anyone, because. . . well, I’m sure you can guess why.”
Harry nodded.
“So, Harry, please? I’ll make it up to you!”
“You do realize that we have to decorate the tree as well?”
Draco smiled, “Yes, yes, I know! So, can we? Pleeeease??” He batted his eyelashes.
Harry folded his arms, staring intently at his boyfriend. He didn’t want to let Draco get his way just because he loved him, but that look was just too much, so he hung his head and said, “Okay, fine. You get your way *this* time!”
Draco smiled in triumphant and then hugged Harry tightly. “Thanks, Lion! You won’t regret it!”
Harry sighed and poised his axe in chopping position. “I hope not.” He grumbled.
