Prompt: Prompt Table B; 50 Prompts. Prompt 44; Seasons

                                                                                                                                                                   -Seasons-

Walking through the abandoned store, scavenging for supplies, Harry stopped to look at the dusty calendars sitting on their shelves, undisturbed unlike most of the other departments in the store.

Ever since the fall of humanity during the walker outbreak calendars and keeping track of what day or month it was became unimportant. The only reason it would have helped was to keep track of when the weather might be starting to turn, but thankfully nature was easy to read when the seasons were changing.

Moving away from the wall of calendars, Harry headed over to the spot where there was, surprisingly, some air mattresses and camping gear left over.

Pulling his walkie talkie out of his pocket, Harry lifted it up to his mouth and said, “Hey Glenn I found some camping gear in the back here.”

“Really? There's still some good items in this place?” Glenn asked, sounding surprised.

“I wouldn't joke about it. There are some air mattresses, some tents, even some portable grills...I wonder if all the Walkers we cleared out kept people from coming in here and taking more stuff.”

“Maybe it would be a good idea to check out the food section then. The blizzard outside doesn't look like it will be letting up anytime soon and if there are some good items there maybe there are some shelf-stable foods left over.”

“Might be a good idea to scope out every part of the store. We might be able to find clothes for everyone and maybe even find some things for Judith. Maybe a crib or some toys for her.”

“Good idea. Let's get what we can then load up in the truck then repeat until we can't fit any more in the truck or we run out of items to grab.” Glenn said.

“Copy that. Radio if you run into trouble.” Harry said, even though it seemed like they had taken out all of the walkers in the store.

“Same for you, but the walkers seem to be hibernating since winter is here.”

“If only we were that lucky.” Harry muttered to himself even if it seemed like there were less walkers now that the winter season had fully rolled in.
