The Sexual Education of Remus J. Lupin
Chapter 17
Lesson Seventeen: Watch What You Drink
______________________________________________________________________
This year had by far been the best, and most exciting, Winter Holiday Remus had ever had. Him and Sirius had exchanged their ‘real’ christmas gifts after a little nap, and had proceeded to spend the rest of the time they had snogging, and even shagging in nearly every place imaginable. They had the castle nearly to themselves, and so long as they were careful, they could get away with doing whatever they wanted, wherever they wanted. At one point, Sirius had even snuck Remus down to the Great Hall at three in the morning one night, where he screwed him senseless right on top of the Slytherin table.
By now, though, January had come, and everyone was back. So, the random making out and love-making sessions all over the castle had stopped for the most part, and they’d gone back to their usual making out in the common room, and shagging behind charmed bed-post hangings. Currently, there was only one thing stopping Remus and Sirius from snogging in the common room. Remus had transformed the previous evening, and he was still being constrained to the Hospital Wing by Madam Pomfry. It always took him a few days worth of care to get better, so this was to be expected, but it still didn’t make his being away from Sirius any easier.
Remus sighed a little, staring down at his half-eaten plate of food that the house-elves had brought him, along with the large wedge of chocolate that had a few bites out of it. Remus knew he was just being silly, getting all depressed over not being able to spend as much time with Sirius as he liked, but damn it, he was in love! He didn’t feel complete when they were apart like this.
He lifted the plate, deciding he’d had enough of that, and set it down on the bedside table before breaking off a rather generous helping of chocolate, which he began to gnaw on, turning onto his side and just staring towards the door, hoping that Sirius would be popping through at any moment. He knew the boy probably wouldn’t, though. He’d spent nearly the entire day running back and forth to visit Remus between classes and meals, and was probably pretty exhausted by this point.
Sirius and Remus had rung in the new year with style, spending all of their Winter Break together, shagging in the most random and inappropriate places, including the Slytherin house table, which had been entirely Sirius' brilliant idea. The new year came before anyone was really ready for it, and by the time everyone had returned, Sirius and Remus had exhausted every place they could think of to shag in secret. It put a downer on the two, being that classes had to start back up again, and they were made to spend some time apart. Thought it was a relief to get to change into Padfoot, so he could run around with Moony, Prongs, and Wormtail, it was always a little bit stressful the night after transformation.
The dark haired wizard had been running to and from Remus' bed in the hospital wing every single chance that he could, if only to sneak kisses and sweets to the boy before having to run back somewhere else. He had wanted to just stay there the entire time, but Madame Pomfry wasn't having any of it. Sirius was too much of a distraction, she'd say. So there he was, in the common room, sulking a little bit because he couldn't find any other excuse to tell Madam Pomfry why he needed to be in there with Remus. It was warm in the room, having settled himself on a sofa in front of the fireplace. It seemed that James had wandered off somewhere with Lilligan, leaving the dark haired boy alone. Or so he thought.
Sirius jumped just a bit when someone, out of the blue, sat down next to him. “Alright, Sirius?” The voice of the stranger asked him, causing those dark brown eyes to gaze at the other. He had seen this boy before, surely. But being that loads of people knew his name, and he barely remembered anyones, it wasn't such an odd thing. “Yeah I'm alright.” Sirius muttered, eyes taking in the boy next to him. He was no Remus, and surely no Sirius, but he wasn't really bad to look at, per say. “Fancy a drink?” The boy asked him, clearly hoping Sirius would say yes, being that the boy had managed to get a hold of two butterbeers. “Go on then.” Sirius replied, taking one of the bottles from the boy's outstretched hand. It didn't occur to Sirius that the nearly maniacal smile the other boy had on his face was at all out of the ordinary.
Bringing the bottle to his lips, Sirius took a giant swig, swallowing quickly before taking another giant one. He wasn't the kind of boy to turn down a free drink of any kind, after all. It was then that he started feeling a little...funny. His head was...clouded. And something smelled amazing. The dark haired boy sniffed the air a few times, before turning to look at the boy next to him. But oh no, this wasn't just any boy sitting next to Sirius. He was the best looking bloke Sirius had ever seen in his ENTIRE life. And gods, he smelled good too. Promptly dropping the butterbeer on the floor, Sirius gazed at the other through half lidded eyes. Charlie, that's what the boy's name was. How could Sirius have forgotten? With that golden hair and those sparkling blue eyes. And that skin? Gods, Sirius just wanted to touch him.
Charlie smiled wide at the look on Sirius' face, which of course made Sirius just melt. That boy had the most beautiful smile that Sirius could ever remember seeing. Even more beautiful than his own, and that was saying something. He wanted to speak, but even more he wanted to touch Charlie. No, he NEEDED to touch Charlie. “Charlie..” Sirius whispered, edging closer to the boy, staring at him like he was a demi-god, sent down to earth only for Sirius to look at. Before Charlie could respond to this, Sirius was on him, pinning him to the couch, pressing his lips against this boy's mouth like he needed it more than he needed air. And holy shit did this boy's mouth taste good. Sirius flicked his tongue out and licked at the other's mouth, and before anyone knew it, the two were in a heated battle on the couch, Sirius already starting to take off his school robes, leaving just his normal clothing on, for now. And not once, during this entire thing, since the moment he drank that butterbeer, did Sirius even consider Remus.
As all of this was going on, it seemed that neither Charlie, nor Sirius, had noticed another boy gaping at them. He was the very same sixth year that had been attempting to chat up Remus at the Halloween party. He stared for a moment at the two now heatedly snogging on the couch next to the fire, before his attention was pulled away as he heard footsteps coming down the steps. Before he had time to see who was coming, he was off. He sprinted out of the common room, burst through the portrait hole earning a few well chosen words from the Fat Lady, and ran down towards the Hospital Wing as fast as he could.
He’d hear Remus had come down with something again, the poor boy. He was always sick, it seemed. Well, in a way, it made finding him easier. So, before he knew it, the black-haired teen was pushing the door open, glad to see that Madam Pomfry wasn’t there. Probably in the back brewing health potions or something of the sort. His hazel eyes fell upon the small form of Remus, and took him in for a moment before hurrying over to him.
“Um...hi.” he mumbled, his voice slightly softer than most. “Lupin-I er, I mean Remus.” he said, having been told to call him by his first name at that party. “I just...thought I should come and...and tell you something. It’s real important.” he said, glancing towards a chair that sat empty next to Remus’ bed. He moved to stand behind it, gripping the back of the wooden seat and blurting out the next few words rather quickly.
“I just saw Sirius kissing another boy. That...that Charlie, you know, he’s in your year.” he said, holding his breath as soon as the words had escaped him. For a moment, he thought Remus hadn’t heard him. That was until his ears filled with the sound of...laughter?
Remus had pushed himself up by this point, and was having to support himself with one arm as he laughed. Sirius, kiss another boy? That was...well, that was just a hilarious thought, really. Sirius and him were in love, there was no way he’d go off and just kiss random blokes. Besides that, Remus didn’t even think Sirius fancied guys at all, well, besides himself of course.
The boy, Jack being his name, gripped the chair a bit harder, his knuckles going white. “I’m serious!” he said, moving to sit down now, his face taking on the expression of surprise mixed with determination. “Remus he was! They were sitting there and then...Sirius just went at him! I don’t know why or what they said first but I just...I thought you should know.”
Remus had stopped laughing by now. He eyed the other boy for a few moments, his mind trying to work itself around the idea that Jack might not be lying, and that this might not be some stupid prank Sirius decided he thought would be good fun. “Are you sure Charlie didn’t just kiss Sirius, and Sirius didn’t kiss back or something?” he asked, his voice sounding as if it were attempting to be steady, but still was on the verge of breaking.
Jack shook his head. “Sirius was on top of him. They were almost wrestling sort of. Well, not completely, but they were defiantly kissing, laying down, next to the fire.”
Remus felt a mixture of things at that moment. Confusion being the most prominent, but jealousy, anger, betrayal, and heartbreak. Feeling all those things at once was a lot, and he felt himself fall back against the pillows, though he wasn’t exactly aware that he had let himself do so.
“I’m sorry Remus...” Jack said, reaching out and putting a tentative hand on the boy’s arm.
Meanwhile, back in Gryffindor Tower, James had just come down from the boy’s dormitory when a multitude of things happened. He saw a boy sprinting for the portrait hole, only able to make out the back of his head, before he saw two people snogging on the couch. His first thought was one of slight curiosity, and amusement. Maybe a couple of third years were getting their first snog on, or something? He crept closer to peer over the side of the couch, and had to clamp a hand over his mouth to keep from shouting obscenities.
However, after a moment of taking in the sight, and making completely sure what he was seeing, he allowed himself to begin the shouting process. “Sirius Black what in Merlin’s name do you think you’re doing!?” he shouted, storming around the couch and seizing his dark haired friend under the arms, wrenching him away from the blond boy underneath him.
James still couldn’t really tell exactly what was, or rather had been, going on. Had Sirius temporarily lost his mind and decided to molest this poor boy? Had Sirius forgotten completely about Remus and found a new boyfriend already? Was this even Sirius? James had read about polyjuice potion before, and for a moment, the idea that some bloke and his boyfriend had gotten the idea that it would be fun for one of them to change into Sirius (the most handsome boy at Hogwarts) and give their partner a sort of roll in the hay with a physical copy of him. Hell, this was Hogwarts after all. Stranger things had happened.
Sirius hadn't noticed the random dark haired boy rushing out of the common room, or the rest of the crowd that had gathered around he and Charlie. All he really noticed was this boy underneath him kissed like a god. Their tongues were intertwined, hands touching every place that they could touch. Charlie didn't seem to mind being ravaged by Sirius, in fact, the boy seemed to be having the time of his life. It wasn't every day that Sirius Black just ravaged and molested random strangers. Though, Charlie couldn't possibly be a stranger to Sirius, could he? Surely Sirius had known this boy his entire life. He loved Charlie, for gods' sake.
His hands had just managed to get the other's robes off when out of nowhere, Sirius was seized by someone from under the arms and yanked up from Charlie. “WHAT THE FUCK, POTTER? YOU'RE NOT NORMALLY THIS MUCH OF A COCK BLOCK.” Sirius yelled back at the bespectacled boy, glaring at him as though he wanted nothing more than to punch James in the face. It was then that Charlie reached a hand out and touched Sirius' arm, which made the dark haired boy turn away from James and sit back down on the couch as though nothing had actually happened, and his best friend wasn't there. “Hey there, gorgeous.” Sirius said to Charlie, smiling as widely as he could, wrapping his arm around the blond boy and pulling Charlie closer to him.
With that same smile on his face, Sirius looked back up at James, seemingly forgetting what had just happened with that argument, because he was now touching Charlie and that was all that really mattered t him at the moment. “Oi, James, have you met Charlie?” Sirius asked, still smiling. Nothing was wrong, nothing at all. Charlie, looking as though he was the happiest boy on earth at the moment, gave James a sheepish sort of smile, followed by a tentative “H-hey James.” Sirius grinned even wider at the boy's shy demeanor. “Isn't he so cute?” Sirius cooed, stroking the boy's cheek with his hand, looking back at the blond with complete adoration.
James just gaped at the pair, eyes wide, not sure what exactly he was supposed to
think about this situation. “What about Remus..?” He asked finally, being completely sick of watching Sirius hold onto this other boy like he was a prized possession The question about Remus seemed to jog Sirius out of this daze for just a moment. “Why're you asking me for? Isn't he studying or something?” Sirius asked, wondering why James was so concerned about this. He was Sirius Black, after all, and could do whatever the hell he wanted. If James was so concerned about their mutual friend, he could just go find him himself, for Sirius was far too busy doing other things at the moment.
The bespectacled boy couldn't believe his ears. Just yesterday, he had specifically heard Sirius telling Remus just how much he loved him, and now he was on a couch, seemingly not giving a care in the world as to what his boyfriend would think about this. Sirius had done some weird things in his time, but James had never seen him act this way. It was disgusting. Before he could say anything else, though, Sirius was whispering something adorable into Charlie's ear, which made the blond giggle uncontrollably, and blush a bright red. Then the boys were locked by the lips again. Backing away slowly from the situation, eyes shooting daggers at his best friend, James turned on his heel and sprinted out of the common room, and towards the hospital wing. Remus needed to know about this, especially seeing as how Sirius seemed to be under the impression that Remus wasn't his boyfriend at all. Something was wrong with this picture, and it needed to be fixed, immediately.
Remus had gone silent since Jack had finally gotten him to believe what he was saying, and was now torn between allowing himself to feel full on rage, or full on heart break. His poor little heart and mind didn’t have the capacity for two strong emotions at once, so it would have to be one or the other. It didn’t take him too long, though to decide. Feeling anger was always easier than feeling heart break, and so, that’s the one he chose.
He swung his legs over the edge of the bed and made to stand up, when Jack stood and hugged him, keeping him there for a moment. “Remus don’t, you’re sick you’ve got to stay here.” he said, sounding as if he were trying to be brave, but in reality, was afraid that Remus might just hit him out of pure rage, even if the anger wasn’t really directed at him.
Remus almost immediately went limp, and was slightly surprised to find himself hugging the other boy back. They didn’t know each other well, but at the moment, that wasn’t important. Remus just needed comfort. He felt himself relax just slightly, and pulled away just in time to see the door burst open for a second time.
While Sirius stayed in the common room, presumably snogging the living daylights out of Charlie, James had sprinted through the castle as fast as he could, until he reached the hospital wing. It was quite a shock, then, when James opened the door, seeing Remus pull away from some kid that he thought he might have recognized. Was this why Sirius was snogging someone? Had the two broke up for someone else? That just didn't seem right. Especially with Remus looking as defeated as he was looking.
“Erm..” James began, shutting the door behind him, much more quietly than he had opened it. “Hate to interrupt..” James felt awkward now, feeling as though he probably interrupted something important. “But I think you had better go down to the common room with me, Moony.” The raven haired boy was already pulling his invisibility cloak from his pocket, never really going anywhere with out it. The liquid like translucent fabric hung on the floor, covering up the tips of his shoes, making them seem invisible while the rest of him was still solid. He didn't know how to best bring up the subject of Sirius, being that he knew something was wrong with the boy, but wasn't sure exactly what. He gulped slightly, taking another step towards the pair, the cloak billowing slightly, covering parts and uncovering them again as he moved. “Something's wrong with Sirius..he's not..acting right.” He said finally, bringing a hand up to his hair and ruffling it slightly, a habit he had developed out of nerves.
Remus bit his lip and stared at James for a moment. Of course Sirius wasn’t acting right. He was snogging some random boy, and not Remus. Then again, Sirius had been known to be extremely impulsive. Still, Remus didn’t think that Sirius would ever REALLY cheat on him. Not after everything they’d gone through. He stood up, giving Jack a tentative look before looking back to James. “Yeah, I probably should.” he said, turning to Jack.
“Could you maybe do me a favor? Just...stay in this bed under the covers incase Madam Pomfry tries to check on me.” he said softly, waiting for the boy to agree, which he did, before he allowed James to lift the cloak over the both of them.
The way up to the common room was rather awkward. Remus told James about the boy running down to tell him what happened, which for James was sort of a relief. At least he had been right in thinking that the two hadn’t broken up, and that something strange was actually going on.
Before he knew it, they were walking into the common room, where Sirius and the boy were still snogging on the couch. Remus’ first instinct was to pull out his wand and hex both parties involved in the kissing. However, he didn’t go with it. He knew it wouldn’t do any good.
Instead, he just walked towards the ‘couple’, if you wanted to call them that, and places two hands between them (after having the cloak slip off as James bundled it away into his bag) and pushes his arms apart, separating the kissing boys.
“Explain.” he said, his voice smooth, cold, and unfeeling.
Sirius couldn't remember ever enjoying kissing another person as much as he was enjoying kissing Charlie. Every single time the boy touched him, Sirius' skin felt electrified. He wanted to be glued to this boy for the rest of his life, whether it be by the lips, or the hips, it didn't really matter so much to the pureblood. They had managed to find a comfortable position on the sofa, with Sirius' hand planted on the back of Charlie's thigh, and Charlie's legs draped over Sirius' lap. They took breathes every now and again, Sirius whispering sweet nothings against the blond's mouth, cheeks, ears, neck, whatever skin he could reach.
He hadn't noticed James and Remus enter the Common Room again, what with the invisibility cloak and all, but truth be told, he wouldn't have noticed them if the two were as bright and big as a Christmas Day parade float. For the second time that afternoon, much to Sirius' displeasure, he was pulled away from his lover by one of his cock-blocking friends. This time, it was Remus, demanding that Sirius explain something. “Oi, the fuck's your problem Moony?” Sirius asked, enraged, but refusing to stop touching Charlie in some way. “Can't you see I'm busy?” He continued, slinking his arm back around the other's waist. Charlie reached out and ran his had over Sirius' cheek, petting it. “Siri, who's that?” Charlie asked him, using a pet name that normally would have made Sirius hex the boy into oblivion, but now just made the dark haired boy melt.
Sirius immediately turned to focus on Charlie again, looking at the boy like he was the only person in the world that mattered. “Oh, he's nobody. Just a friend of mine.” Sirius whispered, leaning forward, pressing a kiss to Charlie's nose. “You are the most beautiful person I've ever seen, you know that?” He continued, hugging his arm tighter around Charlie's waist, seeming to have completely forgotten that Remus was there, or even existed at all.
At first, Remus though Sirius must have lost his mind. Nobody? Him and Sirius were in love! And...the most beautiful boy he’d ever seen? That...that was Remus’ title, not...not this stranger! He watched in horror as Sirius began to move back towards the other, before it hit him so suddenly that he had to take a step back. “Love potion...” he said, his mouth hanging open for a moment, a slightly dazed look on his face that quickly turned to one of rage and anger.
“You...you slipped him a love potion!” he shouted, so loudly that a few birds that had been settling down to sleep on a near by window suddenly fluttered away, chirping angrily back at the castle. It seemed like forever to Remus, but within a split second, he had launched over the couch in a spectacular sort of rageful pouncing dive, knocking Sirius away as he landed on Charlie.
“You...little...git!” he shouted, his hands balled into fists as he hit the boy. Once, twice, a third time. “How dare you...slip my...boyfriend...a love potion!?” he demanded as he continued to try to hit the kid, though James had already jumped after him, and was now attempting to pull him off of the poor blond boy.
There Sirius was, minding his own business, casually touching the boy he loved, when Remus flew towards him and Charlie, launching the boy sideways, eyes wide with fury as his so-called best friend began to lay punch after punch to Charlie's perfect face. “WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?” Sirius shouted, attempting to get up, to pull Remus away from his love, but Peter, who had remained silent through this entire ordeal, seized Sirius by the arms and held him back, making the dark haired male thrash violently. Charlie, on the other hand, was fighting off tears, shaking his head, trying to put his hands up to his face to block the punches. Thankfully, James had restrained Remus, and Charlie was free to sit up, bringing a frail looking hand up to his face and dabbing at a brilliantly bleeding nose.
“BABY, ARE YOU OKAY?” Sirius called out, almost as if he was trying to reach Charlie from miles away, still struggling against Peter's restraint. Wormtail had grown much stronger, it seemed. Finally, with one burst of energy, he pulled himself away from his captor and rushed forwards, kneeling on the ground in front of Charlie, tilting the boy's head up to examine him. “You're not hurt too bad, are you?” Sirius asked, concern flooding his eyes and his voice. Charlie sniffled as best he could, inhaling a little bit of the blood from his nose, causing him to make a sound in protest to his own body. “Right.” Sirius said, kissing the top of Charlie's head once before whirling around to face Remus, a look of pure, unadulterated hatred on his face.
He had never, in his life, hated anyone as much as he hated Remus that exact second. Part of him wanted to beat the ever living shit out of the boy, and the other half just wanted to toss him off the astronomy tower. “What the fuck is wrong with you?” Sirius' voice was calm, with rage coating every single word, taking a step forward as he spoke, one after the other, until he was nose to nose with the restrained Remus. “If you touch him again, I'll make sure you never leave the hospital wing.” He didn't regret any of it, and he was more than willing to lose his best friend over this, because Charlie was his true love, and he would do anything in the world to protect that boy.
Remus had a look on his face that was almost scary. It was something you’d expect to see in a canine. Teeth bared, a low deep growl rumbling in his throat as his eyes remained on Sirius while the boy threatened him. He pulled against James until he could break free, his hand moving into his pocket for his wand.
“Relax.” he said to James, as the boy reached for his hand. “I’m not going to hurt him, or that git.” he said, referring to the blond battered boy that was still sniffling on the ground. He pointed his wand at Sirius, the tip aimed directly at his heart. “Renovo.” he said, a faint glow emanating from underneath his shirt, before fading away. Remus closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
“Sirius, who am I. What am I, to you?” he asked, this being the test to see if his spell had worked. It should have, really. Reversing the effects of a love potion (once you knew that’s what you were dealing with, of course), was very rudimentary magic.
Sirius had been ready to hex Remus by this point, the boy pulling away from James and pointing a wand at his chest. He hadn't ever seen Remus that angry, before, but to be fair, Sirius had a much more reasonable excuse for being angry at the person he thought was his best friend. All the hatred he felt, though, seemed to warm him, and then suddenly, disappear as soon as the other cast a spell on him. His eyes fluttered and rolled back in his head for a moment. It was as if there had been an etch-asketch in his brain that had suddenly been wiped clean. When his eyes refocused again, he looked at Remus with the biggest smile on his face.
“Hey, you're out of the hospital wing already?” He blurted out, frowning just a bit at how upset the other boy looked. “What' are you talking about Remus?” Sirius continued, turning his head to the side and looking at his boyfriend quizzically. “You're my boyfriend?” He posed this as question, not sure if Remus had broken up with him and he had simply forgotten about it. “And I love you.” He finished, smiling again. It was then that he heard a sniffle from behind him, which made the dark haired boy turn to look at the kid on the couch, covered in blood. “Oi, what happened to that kid?' He asked, pointing a thumb towards him. “He gave me a butterbeer.” He looked from Remus to the blond, and back again, saying that last part aloud as if he was trying to remember it actually happening. “I think.”
Another pause. “Did I fall asleep or something?” Sirius asked. That seemed to be the only explanation for the fact that he couldn't remember seeing that kid getting hit, or anything, because he looked fine when Sirius was drinking the butter beer. And when had Remus gotten out of the hospital wing? Something was really weird about this entire situation, and knowing Sirius, he was probably about to be in a lot of trouble for something couldn't really remember.
Remus let out a sigh of relief, and shook his head. “I’ll tell you in a bit.” he said, walking towards the poor kid on the ground, who winced as he approached. Remus knelt down, and now that he’d put things right again, he wasn’t as angry. Miffed, but really, could you blame the boy? Sirius was a fantastic catch, and honestly, Remus was surprised no one had tried this until this point.
“Look, I know it can be hard to like someone who’s already taken, but a love potion will only lead to...well, things like this.” he said, helping the other kid to his feet. “Why don’t you go after someone who’s not taken?” he suggested. “That Jack kid is pretty cute you know, are you two friends?” he asked, thinking that he’d seen them talking before.
Though Charlie still looked rather upset about his nose, he gave a small nod, wiping tears away with his hands. “I’m sorry.” he said, sniffling a little more. “I...s-shouldn’t have...I was just...so jealous and...”
Remus cut him off by pulling out his wand one last time, tapping the boy on the nose with it. “Episky.” he said, and with a soft crack, the boy’s nose righted itself. “He’s down in the hospital wing, why don’t you go tell him he doesn’t have to cover for me anymore.” he said, winking.
With that, the boy walked quickly towards the portrait hole and left. “Sirius, let’s go upstairs.” he suggested, taking his boyfriend by the hand and leading him away from a gaping Peter and James, who still seemed to be in shock over the whole thing. Once they were alone and sitting on Remus’ bed, he finally explained what had happened to Sirius.
Sirius watched Remus approach the other boy, and speak to him, with a look of complete shock and confusion on his face. What he thought happened really couldn't have been what happened, could it? A love potion? Oh gods. Sirius felt a sick sort of tug in his stomach, glaring daggers at Charlie all the while, until the boy left through the portrait hole. He followed after Remus up to their dormitory without a word, and sat in near perfect silence until Remus was done retelling him the events of that afternoon. So not only had he managed to be slipped a love potion without realizing it, but he had made out with some boy that wasn't even all that great in front of the entire common room, and his boyfriend.
He didn't really know what do. He felt so bad, even though it wasn't his fault and he couldn't really help what had happened. It was a curse, being as beautiful and popular as he was. He just sat there next to Remus on the bed for a few moments before pushing forward, throwing his arms around Remus' neck, and pulling the boy as close to him as he could possibly get, pressing his lips to Remus', kissing him, remembering exactly why he was in love with Remus and no one else. No one's kisses could compare to Remus', not even under the influence of a love potion.
After a bit of kissing, Sirius pulled away, breaking the kiss, taking a gasp of air, before laying his forehead against Remus'. “I'm..so fucking sorry, Remus.” Sirius whispered, his voice cracking just a bit. He knew it wasn't really his fault, but he also knew that Remus probably felt like shit about it. “You know I love you, right? You know you're the only one I love?” He pressed his lips against Remus' for just a moment, as if he was trying to convince the other boy that what he was saying was true, despite his previous actions.
Remus hadn’t really expected Sirius to go on a kissing-spree with him after hearing that, but he supposed it did make sense, coming from Sirius. The boy wasn’t very good with words, after all, and chose to show his emotions through actions at least ninety percent of the time. He allowed Sirius to kiss him for as long as he needed to, and kissed back just as loving and passionately.
Remus nodded to re-assure Sirius that he did in fact know that he was the only one the boy loved. “And, I’m still the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen, right?” he prompted. It was perhaps, a bit childish, but he needed to hear Sirius say that to him, after having to watch him say it to that Charlie bloke.
Sirius really couldn't believe he said all of that to Charlie, but he supposed it made sense. The love potion had created a powerful sort of obsession kinda thing for Charlie, and that was the kind of thing that Sirius said to the people he loved. “You've always been the most beautiful thing in the world to me.” Sirius whispered back to the boy, petting at his cheeks. “I'm sorry that I made you doubt that for a second.” He laid a few more kisses across Remus' face, and then another on his lips. If anything, he really just needed to get that prick's taste out of his mouth. And what better way to do that than drown himself in Remus kisses?
