By the time classes are over the whole school has gotten word of the altercation between the weasel and I and its aftermath. Indeed the situation could get no better as Hogwarts' student body practically quakes in fear of my presence--as they well should be.

As I stalk down the corridors, Harry at my right and the rest of my entourage close at hand, the sea of Hogwarts students part around us almost seamlessly. Inside I chuckle darkly though I can't keep the smirk from overtaking my face; the little incident with Weasley has done more than give me revenge, it has jumped start my regime over Hogwarts and I couldn't be more pleased.

Our group walks through the corridors for a few more minutes. We are nearly at Zabini's suite before a grime faced Prefect stops in front of me.

"Draco Malfoy," the Prefect says, getting my attention (though his abrupt stop in front of my person has already done that). I frown as the Prefect takes liberties with my name as I have not given him permission to call me Draco.

"Yes, I am Mr. Malfoy," I correct him snidely.

The Prefect seems to realize his mistake as he clears his throat uncomfortably. "Well, um...Mr. Malfoy, Professor Snape has asked to see you in his office ASAP."

I arch an eyebrow in question before turning to face Harry. "I will be back once I'm done meeting Severus."

"Severus?"

I drag a hand over my face. "Professor Snape. Now as he hates tardiness I will be on my way immediately." Harry nods his head as I turn to Zabini. "Save me a scone, will you?" I ask Zabini half joke, half desperation as I really do not wish to see my Uncle. Though I love Uncle Sev dearly the man is a prude and has not one erotic bone in his body. My sixth sense is telling me what this meeting is about.

Blaise nods his head and everyone bids me farewell as I head in the direction of Uncle Sev's office. The Prefect leads the way though I already know where Uncle Sev resides as he showed all of us Slytherins before out first day of classes. After a flight of stairs down to the basement and a walk through a short corridor the Prefect and I make it to Uncle Sev's office. The Prefect knocks on the door.

"What business brings you here?" Uncle Sev voice drifts through the thick door but even muffled as it is it doesn't hide the irritation in his voice. For the life of me I can't figure out why the man teaches if he abhors children so much.

"I have retrieved Mr. Malfoy as you requested," the Prefect says with slight nerves coming through his voice. I suppose he's as terrified of Uncle Sev as any first year. I am laughing so hard that I barely hear Uncle Sev bidding us entrance to his office.

When the Prefect enters the dark chamber I follow. "Hey, Uncle Sev," I say, leaning next to the door frame.

Severus frowns before facing the Prefect. "Pray tell, why are you here?" The Prefect shudders in fear and I can hardly keep my shivers hidden because even if Uncle Sev is a prude he has the most sinful voice ever.

"Um...what? I mean, you sai--"

"What I said was to relay to Draco the message that I wished to speak with him as soon as possible. What I did not say was for you to make your way back to my office upon the completion of said task. Ten points from Hufflepuff. Now, if you would like for me not to take ten more points then, if I were you, I would depart from my presence immediately."

"Uh, um...yes Professor," the Prefect stutters out before rushing out of Uncle Sev's office. When he passes my relaxed figure leaning against the door frame I smirk as he runs by then slams the door behind his retreating form.

"A little harsh, don't you think, Uncle Sev?"

Uncle Sev grunts in disagreement as I saunter over to his desk, taking a seat on the hard wood. "Draco," says Uncle Sev. "Firstly I have told you about calling me Uncle Sev, however if you feel the need to add the honorific then please refer to me as Uncle Severus."

"Yes, yes...of course Uncle Sev," I say, smirking in triumph at the scowl that crosses his face. I do so love to annoy Uncle Sev.

"And get off of my desk!" Uncle Sev barks out, obviously annoyed by my complete disregard of his orders. "Or, by all means stay perched on the edge of my desk. It appears you have taken a liking to Gryffindors and perhaps have even adopted some of their more uncivilized customs."

Now it is me scowling as I jerk myself off of his desk and settle into one of the hard wooden arm chairs. "What have you asked to see me about, Uncle Sev? Though it is only the second day of classes I do have much homework to attend to. Mother and Father would be positively livid if I were to receive anything less than an outstanding in all of my classes. You do wish for me to receive high marks in all of my classes, especially Potions do you not, Uncle?"

"Draco, I am pleased to see that you are focusing on your studies, though you know that is not why I asked to speak with you today. After the earlier incident involving Weasley your Father came to speak with me."

"Oh?" I ask. Now I am nervous because I am sure this talk is not about the Weasley, but about Harry.

"Yes, Draco, and your Father seemed both surprised and pleased about your relationship with Potter. That is why I have called you here. What exactly is your relationship with Mr. Potter?"

"Uncle, Harry and I are just friends, as any other eleven year old boys would be."

"But you, Draco, are not just any other eleven year old boy. I am aware of your upbringing as I am your Godfather thus your explanation of you and Harry being just friends is highly far fetched."

"Well, Uncle, nothing has happened--"

"Yet. Nothing has happened yet and nothing shall happen while you are in within the walls of Hogwarts. You have escaped the Headmaster's suspicions thus far but know that he will be looking. Watching and waiting for a chance to get you banned from Hogwarts as you have done to one of his atrocious Gryffindors."

"Of course, Uncle," I say, bowing at the waist to Uncle Sev before taking my leave. As I make my way to Zabini's quarters I can't help but smirk because, as my Godfather, Uncle Sev has warned me about Dumbledore's inquiries and as I am a Slytherin his message came through loud and clear: do not get caught.

Yes, the Headmaster can watch and listen and wait as much as he wants but not only am I a Slytherin I am a Malfoy. He can watch me until the end of time but there is no way that a Gryffindor is ever going to corner a Slytherin, and there is definitely no way that Dumbledore will ever trap a Malfoy.
