Into the Forbidden Forest
Gizelle ran as fast as she could back to her room. Luckily, Draco wasn't in the common room. Just a few Slytherin's laughing about old times torturing the first years. Once in her room she practically tore her sundress off and rummaged through her closet, desperately searching for the green wrap dress she knew was hiding somewhere amongst her other clothes. Finally she found it shoved at the bottom of her trunk. Once she slipped it on she fussed with her hair and quickly put on some lipstick. She was fixing her eyeliner when there was a knock at her door. She gave herself one last look in the mirror before opening the door.
"Gizelle, you look beautiful as usual." Draco said as his eyes wandered over her form.
"Thank you Draco. So, what shall it be tonight?"
Draco half smiled and took her hand in his. Without a word he lead her out of the Dungeons out to the courtyard. The sun had set now and the sky was dotted with stars. Moonlight flooded over the green grass and trees making the white blossoms glow.
"Draco, where are we going?" Gizelle laughed as he moved quicker across the courtyard.
"You'll see Gizelle." Draco cooed.
It wasn't until they reached the outer walls of the castle that Gizelle realized where they were going. The Forbidden Forest was the only logical place she could think of. They reached the edge of the forest and Draco stopped.
"Draco....why are we going in the Forbidden Forest?"
Draco dropped her hand and stood so close to her she could feel his heartbeat against her chest. He ran his fingers through her hair as she watched his face harden in the moonlight.
"Gizelle, do you trust me?" Draco asked quietly.
"Of course Draco. What's going on?" Gizelle searched his face for an answer.
"Come on. I promise we will be safe. There is something I want to show you."
Draco pulled her into the forest. The deeper they went the darker it got. The moon seemed to disappear in the darkness of the trees. Gizelle could feel the air grow cold and icy and every bit if happiness she felt seemed wrenched out of her. Her eyes glanced upward to see Dementors swimming amongst the trees. She stifled her urge to produce her protronus. She knew the snake and skull tattooed on Draco's left arm would keep them safe. They moved through the silent trees only hearing the infrequent sounds of Centaurs hoofbeats. Gizelle could see a clearing up ahead and heard voices muted by the distance. Draco pulled her into the clearing and Gizelle stifled her gasp. Lucius sat at the head of the long table. Next to him Bellatrix Lestrange. The rest of the table was scattered with other Deatheaters. Lucius stood when he saw his son enter the clearing.
"Draco and Gizelle." He cooed Gizelle's name. "So glad you could join us."
Lucius' eye's met Gizelle's. He smirked and licked his lips. Gizelle took her seat next to Draco.
"Now we all know why we are here tonight." Lucius began. "Voldemort, before his death, left an heir to carry on his work. We are here tonight to name that heir."
