“Wait, I need something,” panted Harry.
“Can’t it wait?” breathed Draco as he tried to kiss more of Harry’s neck.
“No, we might get caught.”
Annoyed, Draco followed Harry to Gryffindor Tower. Since everyone had gone home for Christmas, it was empty. Harry said the password, and Draco followed him in. Together they climbed the stairs to the boys’ dormitory. Harry entered his room and went straight for his trunk at the bottom of his bed.
“What’re you looking for?” asked Draco.
“My Map,” said Harry vaguely.
“Map of what?”
“Hogwarts.”
“Huh?”
“It’ll help us avoid teachers, Peeves, and even Filch and his cat.”
Draco smiled. “Why haven’t you told me about this map before?”
“I wasn’t sure if I wanted to…”
“What the hell is this?” said Draco, holding up a miniature, glass spinning top.
“It’s a Sneakoscope. If there’s someone untrustworthy around it’s supposed to light up and spin.”
Draco set the Sneakoscope down, which stood still, and knelt to look into Harry’s trunk.
“Found it,” said Harry happily. “C’mon, let’s go…”
Draco raised an eyebrow. “Why do we need this to snog in some deserted classroom when we can snog right here?”
