Harry\'s New Dad

Draco woke the next morning feeling when and cold. He looked at the end of the bed and was surprised to see Harry standing there holding an empty bucket. “Oh, I’ll get you for that. Mate or not.” Draco said as he jumped out of the bed in his soaking wet t-shirt and pajama pants.

Harry seeing this took off, but didn’t get far before he felt large hands close around his hips. Then there were arms around his waist and he was pulled bodily back against a firm but wet chest. “You honestly didn’t think you could get away from me did you.” Draco said as he held the other Slytherin against his chest.

“It was worth a try.” Harry said as he was turned to face the taller boy, laughing when he saw the wet hair. “I had to find someway to wake you.” He said smiling.

“And you chose this one hoping I wouldn’t retaliate.” He said as he pulled the boy back against his chest. It was then Harry began to put up a struggle.

“Draco, your all wet.” Harry said not liking the way it felt now that his cloths were getting wet as well, but still laughing.

“Oh? And whose fault is that?” Draco asked with a raised eyebrow. He then leaned down and claimed the lips of the boy in his arms. He then felt Harry’s arms come up to wrap around his neck and felt the small hands in his hair.

When they parted he looked at his boyfriend. “There is a Hogsmede weekend this weekend. Come with me?” He said as he looked into the green eyes. He always wondered how Harry and Corben could be related to the rest of the Potters.

“Sure thing.” Harry said as he looked into Draco’s eye. “As long as you let me go so we can shower and get cleaned up for the day.” He got one more kiss but was then let go. With that the two grabbed their cloths for the day and headed off to the shower.

The two walked into the Great Hall and were surprised to see most of the X-men were gone. It was then Harry saw his dad walking up to him.

“Suit up kid. There have been many attacks on the mutants in the States, so we have to go round up all the prior students of the institute and bring them here.” Logan said to his son. “Remus and Sirius are waiting with Kurt and the others in the Blackbird. We move out now.” He didn’t want his son to come, but knew they needed all the help they could get.

“Sure thing Dad.” Harry said and then turned to Draco. “I will be back as soon as I can.” With that he ran from the hall to get into his uniform.

“How long will you be gone?” Draco asked Logan as he watched Harry run off. He didn’t like the idea of his little boyfriend going off to fight where he couldn’t protect him, but knew there was nothing he could do.

“It should only be a couple of days. A week tops. Don’t worry none of us are going to let anything happen to him.” Logan said as he watched the boy in front of him. He could tell the kid was nervous.

“Is it Voldemort?” Draco asked. He figured it was.

“Yeah, we have to go to the institute to get the back up jets, then we will be off to round up the others.” Logan said.

It was then Draco remembered the boy from the night before. “Was he a Deatheater?”

“We found the mark. It seems he was attacking Harry because he did have a crush on him. He admitted under that truth serum stuff that he had seen Harry on the train and had to have him. Voldemort doesn’t know anything about Harry other than he is Jason’s twin.” Logan was furious about what the boy had wanted with his son and Draco could tell.

“He will be ok won’t he?” Was Draco’s final question.

“Harry may be small, but he is one of the best fighters we got.” Logan said trying to calm the boy. He knew this was going to be dangerous as they didn’t know if they would encounter Deatheaters or not. He knew there was a possibility of it as he knew they were in the States and had already gotten about six mutants to join them. None of which had been any of Chuck’s students thank God.

Just then the two looked up as Harry was walking back over to them in is uniform. Draco looked and saw Harry was confident, but he couldn’t help but worry.

“Ready kid?” Logan asked seeing his son.

“Yeah Dad.” Harry answered and was about to follow him out when he was grabbed from behind and kissed passionatly by Draco.

“You had better come back.” Draco said when he let him go.

“I will.” Harry said as he and his dad walked off.

They had decided to split into groups of three, two adults and one student. Harry (Mage), Logan (Wolverine), and Orora (Storm) were in one group. Sirius (Padfoot), Remus (Moony), and Kurt (Nightcrawler) were in another. Another group consisted of Scott (Cyclops), Jean, and Bobby (Iceman). While the last was Hank (Beast), Gambit, and Maureen (Rogue). Charles was going to be directing the others from Cerebro to make sure they got everyone.

Harry, Logan, and Storm were exhausted by the time they had gotten to their last mutant. They had been rounding up mutants over the last four days and were finally at the last one. All they had to so after this was to go back and pick up Charles when they got this member and his family out of theve. They just weren’t expecting the trouble they were going to have.

Draco thought he was going insane. It had been four days and Harry was still gone. The bond was going crazy and he was having trouble controlling the veela in him screaming to hold its mate. He wished he knew for sure if Harry was ok.

Harry was excited when the jet landed by the lake behind Jake’s house. This was their last stop other than picking up Professor Xavier. Just then Harry saw Kathy, Jake’s wife come out of the house. “Harry what are you doing here?” He asked resting her hands on her seven-month pregnant belly.

“Didn’t Jake tell you?” Storm asked incredulously.

“He said you were coming to get us to help protect us from the people attacking mutants, but isn’t Harry a little young for missions.” Jake had told her everything about being an X-Man and she was ok with the mutants. Just then a large black lab came running out of the house and jumped on Harry.

“Good to see you too Jake.” Harry said as the older man got off him.

“Come on I got our stuff packed, you can help me carry it to the jet.” Jake said as he messed up Harry’s hair causing the boy to glare at him. Harry helped anyway, and the two headed back for the house as Logan and Storm helped Kathy onto the jet.

Harry and Jake were just leaving the house when seven cloaked figures apparated onto the lawn between them and the jet. Harry instantly drew his wand, he wasn’t going down without a fight. He also saw his dad running off the jet to try and help.

“Dad you and Storm have to get the others out of here.” There were at least twenty mutants on the jet and there were more and more deatheaters apparating in. There were already at least sixty and more were still coming. Looking at Jake he asked, “Fancy a swim?”

Jake understood what was being asked and nodded. Harry motioned to his dad that they were heading to the lake and watched as the doors to the jet closed. They were officially on their own.

Logan saw the two were going to the lake and knew Harry had something up his sleeve. He also remembered Remus and Sirius telling him that spells did not travel well in water and were often ineffective when they hit their intended target. He breathed a sigh of relief when his son and Jake dove into the freezing cold lake. They would just have to find a way to survive under the water.

When they were in the water Jake changed into a dolphin and swam then to the floor of the lake where Harry used his elemental powers to push the water away giving them some air and making it so they were in a little bubble.

“Well what do we do now?” Jake asked as he saw the spells shooting through the water, but disappearing before they even reached him and Harry.

“Now we wait. Dad will bring back the others and we can leave here.” Harry said as he used the fire element to create heat for the two of them.

“How long can you keep this up?” Jake asked knowing this amount of magic would drain his little brother quickly.

“Couple of hours. Hopefully they will be back by then.” Harry said as he sat down so he could conserve his energy. He knew they were going to be down there a while.

Draco could feel Harry’s energy draining through the bond and knew something was wrong. Going to the headmaster he was surprised to find Hank in there talking with the Order of the Phoenix.

“The Deatheaters have two of our members trapped at the bottom of the lake. One of the members is controlling the water allowing them to breath, but has been doing this for a while and can’t hold out much longer.” Draco knew he was talking about Harry and wondered how Harry was doing it. He didn’t think he was a mutant.

“I have Portkeys set up. The Order will help you retrieve your members.” Albus said standing up and handing out the portkeys. Just then Jason Potter stood. “I can help too, I am after all the Boy-Who-Lived.” The rest of rest of the Order nodded in agreement and Draco burst through the door.

“Then I go too.” Looking at Hank he said, “Harry is one of the ones at the bottom isn’t he.”

Hank could only nod. “Then I can be of help.” He knew Dumbledore was considering this. A veela intent on protecting its mate would bee a big help in the battle.

“Very well, but you stay where members of the Order can protect the two of you.” Dumbledore consented.

The two boys nodded and took hold of a portkey and were gone with the rest.

Lucius was shocked to see his son appear with the Order. It was then two other jets landed and the mutants aboard rushed out to attack the Deatheaters. He couldn’t hold back the smirk. The Mutants joined the side of the light. Voldemort didn’t stand a chance.

It was then he saw a green spell flying toward his son. Thinking fast he sprinted and knocked the boy to the ground covering his body with his own. He could see the fear in his wife’s eyes and knew she had seen the entire thing.

“Draco are you ok?” it was then he looked at his son and saw that the creature had come out. Draco’s mate was in trouble and then he saw Jason Potter was the only other teen there. Great Potter was his mate. Lucius couldn’t believe his rotten luck.

He was shocked when Draco pushed him off him and dove into the lake.

Jake was terrified. Harry looked like he wasn’t doing so well. He could hear the fighting going on outside their little bubble and knew the others had gotten there. He wanted to join in, but couldn’t leave Harry and Harry was in no way able to swim out of there as he was on the verge of losing consciousness. It was then he saw someone Harry’s age swimming toward them.

Harry’s magic recognized this person and they were permitted to enter the bubble.

Draco was relieved to find it was warm where Harry was. He still wondered how Harry was doing all this. Deciding not to worry about that he scooped Harry into his arms and cast the bubble head charm on the three of them. “Harry, Baby, I need you to stop this so I can get us out of here.” Instantly the water began to fall in around them and he motioned for Jake to follow them.

When they reached the surface he saw Logan running at them with three blankets. “The three of you get into that jet and stay there.” Logan said as he wrapped a blanket around Draco and another on around Harry. He handed the last one to Jake.

Just then Draco saw a killing curse flying at them and used his body to shield Harry. He was shocked when he felt something throw them to the ground and watched as the curse hit Logan.

James watched in horror as a killing curse was shot at his youngest twin and Draco Malfoy. One of the two would be hit by it. It was then he saw Draco curl around the unconscious form of Harry, willing to take the curse for him. He almost died of shock when Logan pushed the two out of the way and took the curse for them, before falling to the ground.

Lucius watched as the curse flew toward his son. He heard his wife scream as the curse about took their son from them. He realized the boy in Draco’s arms had to be his mate when Draco used his body to shield the other boy. He felt his heart being ripped out and then saw another man push the two boys out of the way taking the curse for them.

Severus screamed for his godson trying to tell him to get out of the way when he saw the curse coming at his two Slytherins. He knew he would lose his godson and felt his heart break. Then Logan pushed to two out of the way taking the curse for them.

Lily screamed when she saw the curse headed at her son. She wanted to cry when she saw his mate shield him ready to die for him. The tears did fall when she saw the man Her son called Dad push the two out of the way taking the curse for them.

Sirius’s heart stopped when he saw the curse headed for Harry and Draco. He changed into Padfoot hoping he would be able to get there in time, knowing there was no way that would happen. It was then he saw his friend push the two boys out of the way and take the curse for them.

Remus screamed for Draco to move when he saw the curse leave the Deatheater’s wand. He knew there was not enough time and watched as Draco curled around Harry to shield him from the curse. He cried when Logan pushed the two boys out of the way. And felt his heart break when he saw his best friend fall.

Harry opened his eyes just as his dad pushed them out of the way and watched as his dad was engulfed by the green light.

“DAD!” He screamed as he tried to get out of Draco’s arms. He dad couldn’t be dead, he just couldn’t be. Breaking free from his boyfriend he instantly ran to his dad. “Dad, come on you got to wake up.” He said as he shook the man’s shoulder. He felt Draco grab him and try to pull him back. He could hear the deatheaters apparating away, but all he cared about was getting his dad to open his eyes. He could feel the tears falling and buried his face in Draco’s shoulder and began sobbing.
