Chapter Fifteen
(Right to Remain Silent)
Snape was targeting everyone during Double Potions.
They were too afraid to even breathe around the potion professor without losing house points.
Luckily for Harry, he throat hurt too much to even bother the raging professor.
However, Ron did not understand what Laryngitis was.
“I can’t believe he took away 200 points because Neville coughed.” He mumbled low so he couldn’t be heard by the snake.
Harry nodded.
Seamus agreed, leaning close to his two comrades. “Yeah, he even took points from his own house. I’m sure Malfoy is going to enjoy a week worth of detention after talking back to the professor.”
Harry nodded again.
Sitting next to Seamus, Dean Thomas joined in on the topic. “What about poor Hannah? The greasy git made her cry when she asked him a question.”
“That’s sad; Ginny told me he kicked out Luna because she started to do her Divination work.” Dean pointed out which earned a look from the others. “What?”
“Luna is always doing the wrong work in anyone’s class.” Ron said.
Dean shrugged. “Well, what about our essays? I spend two days on it and asked Hermione for help and I got a horrible grade.” Ron pulled out his essay to show the guys.
“You, I’m sure I never seen so many red marks on my essay. Snape should had burned it if he hated it so much.” Dean grumbled flashing his essay.
Seamus showed them his. “At least he graded yours. I have nothing, so I don’t know if it’s good or bad.”
Harry didn’t participate in comparing grades.
Besides, he noticed the dark presence of Snape standing next to him.
“I will see you three in detention…tonight at seven. Don’t be late.” Snape addressed the three boys.
They failed to realize that everyone could hear their heated conversation, including the professor.
Thank god it wasn't Harry. If he even breathed, Snape would dish him detention faster than he could say "Voldemort is Dead".
Maybe losing his voice isn't so bad.
Who knew Laryngitis could bring such luck?
Enjoy.
