St. Mungos
James landed in the lobby of St. Mungos with his friends. Skye was still there sitting on a bench, and her head popped up when they landed. She rushed over, and instantly clung to Sirius, trying to find out what had happened.
“I told them you would be coming,” Skye said looking at Sirius.
“Is she alright?” She asked him staring at James, and the feet that stuck out from under a black cloak.
“I don’t know,” Sirius said honestly.
Healers were on them instantly, pushing Remus aside, and trying to get James to put her into the bed.
“I have to go with her,” James said staring at them, and they just shook their heads no.
Sirius pulled one aside and gave him a brief story of what had happened. He seemed to be the head healer of this operation.
The man nodded, and allowed to James to follow them to the back, into a private room.
Lily held James’ hand the whole way back, her body still wrapped in his cloak. Her hair was soaking and sticking to her head, and she was shivering all over.
They wheeled Lily behind a curtain and told James he could not go back there for the moment. He leaned down to kiss Lily gently before taking a seat outside of the curtain. James could not get the image out of his head, of some guy and Lily. He knew it was not her fault, but it was going to stay in his mind for a long time.
Lily knew that the healers were not going to hurt her, but she could not help but cringe as they removed her only piece of clothing, and tossed it to the side. The men left at that point, and women healers were checking over her body.
The bite mark on Lily’s neck was swollen, and the scratches on her sides had begun to scab over. The only thing that was still bad was her back, which was raw, and painful to the touch, and her groin.
Evan had torn Lily a bit, and the healers cleaned the area up. They then moved to her back, using a healing potion to speed up the scabbing process. After that, there was nothing much else they could do.
Lily downed the potion they had given her for the pain, then the other one, which was an emergency contraceptive. It would kick in right away, but only last an hour since Lily told them that her and James were trying to have a baby of their own.
She gingerly got dressed in some clothes they provided her with, and opened the curtain for James to see her.
Sirius, Skye, and Remus were sitting in the lobby waiting for any news. Finally, the Healer Sirius had talk to before came out and told them she was alright. Though, all of them opted to stay for support, plus Remus had found Lily’s wand on the dining room table, and he wanted to give it back to her.
James pulled a chair up right next to the bed, grabbing Lily’s hand lightly. He looked at her, she looked physically, and emotionally drained. He knew he could not hold what happened to her against her, but it was a major blow to his ego. He was the only one who was supposed to be with her like that, they had lost their virginity's to one another, and now another man had stepped in his place.
Lily looked at James, she could read him very well.
“I’m sorry,” she whispered, tears forming in her eyes again for the umpteenth time.
“I-I didn’t mean for this to happen. I am so sorry James,” Lily said with a hiccup.
“It’s not your fault,” James said holding her as back as he could. She was sobbing into his already soaked clothes. He had not bothered with drying himself off, he was more concerned with Lily’s well being.
A healer came in with something for them to sign for her release. James just scribbled his name on the line, since she was released into his care, and they were free to go. James helped her up, and out of the bed, and they walked hand in hand out to the lobby.
Remus stood up followed by Sirius and Skye. They headed over, saying hello, but not much more. They could tell Lily just wanted to go home. Remus handed her her wand, and with that, he left.
Sirius and Skye told them if they needed anything, just send them an owl, and they left as well.
“Let’s go home,” James said to Lily taking her hand. They apparated outside their door, the rain still falling but not as hard. Once inside they went right upstairs, and James changed into his pajamas, and helped Lily into hers before they collapsed into bed.
