Here I am, again! Another peek at the cursed boys at Hogwarts. Remember, this is fifth year, and Goblet of fire never took place.
Chapter Sixteen: Results
Luna stepped into the Great Hall, just as the food was placed on the tables for lunch, and looked around. She caught sight of Justin where he sat with the other Hufflepuffs. The blonde Ravenclaw girl had a less than air-headed look to her face, and the hall resonated with the whispered voices, following her as she made her way to his position.
"Justin, I think we need to talk." she told him, ignoring the stares and open mouths all around her. "Are you finished eating?"
The boy nodded, mutely, and stood so fast that he overturned a tray of chicken. "Sorry," he mumbled to his housemates as he followed the girl from the room.
Outside of the big doors, Luna waited, her fingers drumming a beat against her crossed arms. Justin walked up, meekly. "Are you alright?" she asked him, her eyes intent and her fingers becoming immobile. "Just tell me the truth."
"I'm fine." he responded.
"I mean it, Justin. I want to know if you have any lingering effects from your . . . ordeal. It's very important." she added.
"I really am fine, Luna. I hardly remember it. I didn't know they were waiting, you know." he admitted.
"I know that! If you're fine, and I mean it, then I want to ask you something else. I want to know, what you think about me. Tell me, do you like me, like that? Like you said in the room?" Luna was looking deeply into his eyes, as if she could see into his mind and bring out the truth, like a legilimens.
Justin blushed brightly, stammered a bit, and shuffled his feet. "Y-y-y-y-yes. That's how I feel." he managed.
Luna smiled, grabbed him by the shoulders and planted a hard kiss on his wet lips. Justin was too shocked to react, but when she pulled away, his smile was all the answer she needed. "You and I are going to be spending a lot of time together, Justin. Tell anyone else, that you belong to me." Luna didn't really need to say the words, but Justin grinned as he nodded briskly. "Good. Now, after arithmancy, I have a free period. Come study with me in the library. I know no one believes I study, but I do. Come with me, and then we can talk more about our relationship. I like you, too. I suppose I should say that, right?"
Justin was too shocked to argue, so just nodded happily. He wouldn't remember his next class, so light was his head, and when he arrived at the library, Luna's smile made him float. Literally.
Madam Pince glared at him the entire time he was there.
As Lucius stood in the doorway talking to Draco, Harry stayed as quiet as possible near the fireplace. He was still wary of Malfoy’s father and was in no hurry for the man to notice his presence. All too soon, Draco gestured to him and those sly grey eyes looked his way. Lucius stalked across the floor with Draco at his heels.
“Is what my son tells me correct? Did you figure out how to inseminate an egg in these . . . .alternate wombs?” he snapped out.
“I, . .eh, . .yes, sir. I discovered the alignment and Draco . . .eh, Malfoy agreed to the . .my conclusions.” Harry muttered out, realizing just how friendly he had sounded using the blond’s first name.
“Indeed, it’s just conjecture. We won’t know for certain unless it is tested. Well,” at this point Lucius sighed. “Thank you, Mr. Potter for the information. I am sure that, when the time comes, Draco will benefit from all of this.”
“Father?” Draco cut in. “We've already tried it. Both of us. We wanted you to run the diagnostics, to check it.”
Lucius turned to his son, eyes wide in shock and his lips parted slightly. “You did what?”
Harry began to panic, but Draco just continued without fear. “Harry and I have already tried it. The timing had to be just so, and we didn’t have time to confer with you or Professor Snape. We were both within the calculated parameters, so at least one of us should have been able to concieve. Also, we are both overdue for the . . . you know. You didn’t think I planned on going through that every month if there was no chance on it working, did you? The sooner it was confirmed, the better.”
Lucius’ mouth moved, but no sound came through. Draco seemed to have run out of words and the silence that decended was oppressive. Harry felt like he was choking when it hit him that he and Draco had been seriously impetuous. “Sir, . . I, eh. . .we didn’t think you’d mind.” he blurted.
The ridiculousness of the statement shook Lucius out of his trance and turned his attention to the dark haired boy. “You didn’t think? That’s exactly correct, Mr. Potter. If you are right about this method, and your timing schedules are also accurate, you and my son could find yourself as teenage parents. How do you intend to care for an infant while you attend school, hmmm?” the man asked and both boys looked contrite. “And remember this, Mr. Potter. My family has just converted to your side in this war, that’s correct - war. How are you planning on defeating the Dark Lord with a child strapped to your back?”
Harry’s world got tighter and his eyes began to tear up. He suddenly felt irrational and quite emotional. Draco happened to turn his way and took immediate note of his condition. “Father! How can you bring up something like that? Harry isn’t some seasoned wizard, well versed in hexes and spells. He is just a teenage boy, like me. It shouldn’t rest on his head to kill Voldemort. That was too harsh!” He shouted, standing in front of Harry and crossing his arms in a show of defiance. “Besides, if we are to be parents. . .we can share the responsibilities. While Harry fights the Dark Lord, I shall do diapers.”
Lucius was struck dumb again and Draco’s words slid through Harry’s emotional fugue. Suddenly, he was overcome by the humor in the blond’s statement. Harry burst into a fit of giggles that he could barely contain. Draco caught the same from him and soon they were both laughing uncontrollably, clutching to each other as they guffawed.
“And while I chase him on my broom, you can make little bibs and booties with Molly Weasley.” Harry added to their chuckle fest.
“Oh, no. No child of mine will wear Weasley sweaters. Can you just see them? She’ll have them wearing contrasting colors to their eyes.” Draco snarked out, half-heartedly, while clutching his side.
Lucius’ eyes got as wide as they could before he threw his hands up and shook his head. “Now, that’s enough! Great Merlin! Narcissa and I will watch the babies while you take care of the old snake . . .what am I saying?!” his words brought another seizure of humor from the boys who had now fallen onto the closest couch and were wheezing between laughs. “Come along, now. Let’s get the diagnostic done and see if this is even going to be an issue.” Lucius said pulling out his wand. Both boys sobered up as he began chanting a very detailed spell. Half an hour later, the results were conclusive.
They were both very pregnant.
Lucius looked at the hazy films that showed the new organs in his son and Harry, and the presence of two small round bunches of cells that were his grandchildren. His eyes grew glassy as he studied them and Draco elbowed Harry covertly.
Harry leaned closer and whispered, “What?”
“I think he’s going to cry.” Draco whispered back. “Harry, . . .thank you.”
Harry sat back staring at Malfoy like he had grown a second set of eyes. This was not something he had ever expected for his part in things.
Roger woke feeling warm and safe, enclosed with thick bedding and held tightly by a pair of strong arms.
He turned his head to find two black eyes watching him as he slept.
“Morning Teacher,” he teased as he rolled toward the dark man.
“If you keep greeting me like that, I’ll be tempted to give you a detention.” Snape responded before running his tongue along the shell of Roger’s ear.
“Detention? For what?” the Ravenclaw asked.
“I happen to know that you haven’t been in your dorm after curfew for over two weeks now.” Severus said working the skin of Roger’s neck and shoulder with open mouthed kisses.
“Oh, well then. You have every right.” the brunet said as he shifted for better access.
“I’ll have to think of the perfect punishment, though.” the professor said before rising on his elbows and taking Roger’s mouth in a demanding kiss. Roger relented, easily.
When Snape pulled away, the Ravenclaw boy looked back through heavily lidded eyes. “I love you, Roger Davies.” Snape insisted.
“I love you, too. I’ve known it for a long time.” the brunet returned. “You know, today is when my . .eh, cycle is supposed to start.” he broached warily.
The look on the man’s face didn’t change, “I was aware of that. Stay with me, this time. I want to be there to experience your last time to the fullest.” he said before kissing the boy again. Roger nodded slowly, his eyes closed and his body tense.
“About that,” he began. “I was thinking that maybe, . . .maybe I’d keep it . . .for now.” Snape’s eyes watched him until Roger’s opened his to see realization and surprise cross the professor’s expression. “I heard that Mr. Malfoy is trying to find a way to . . .”
Before he could finish, a loud banging was heard from across Snape’s living area and the door burst open to allow, the very man Roger was speaking of, to enter.
“Severus! Severus, they’ve done it! Where are you?” Lucius called from the middle of the sitting area.
Snape glared at the railing to his loft before turning back to Roger. “Wait, right here.” he said as he threw off the covers and climbed to his feet. “I’ll be right there, Lucius!”
Roger watched from the bed as Severus Snape stormed across the bedroom naked, his ass tight and firm, and found a robe on his chair. Once it was tied around his waist, he leaned over the rail to address the blond below. Roger had barely seen the move as the professor renewed the glamours that he wore for everyone other than Roger and his mother.
“This had better be Earth shattering, Lucius Malfoy!” he called down.
Lucius smirked back up as he stood near an end table and fiddled with a mummified hand that sat there. “Really, Severus. If only you’d accept that match with the half-blood from Hufflepuff, you’d hardly need to be so tense and in need of these methods of release.”
Roger heard Snape growl, but kept silent, his smile a conspiratory one.
It was a school wide rumor that Professor Snape either practiced self-gratification, or released what sexual tension he could by torturing his students with detention or brutal remarks. Roger knew the truth.
Severus had descended the stairs and stood near the blond as Lucius returned the artifact to its place.
“So, what have they done; and who are they?” Snape asked and Lucius smiled. It was such a genuine smile of pure joy and pride that Snape was now very curious about his news.
“The answer to the problem of conception. Orally, Severus! It’s done through oral sex at the point of ovulation. Draco is pregnant!” Lucius stated.
Roger crawled to the end of the bed as Lucius grabbed Snape and spun him around in an excited hug. “Lucius, Lucius, Stop! Draco is Pregnant? By whom? When did this happen?” Snape asked as he pried himself loose.
“Yes, Severus. I’m going to be a Grandad! Draco managed it after all. And with who? Why who else . . . Harry Potter! It seems the Golden Boy is Pregnant, too. Do you know what that means, Severus? The curse is broken! Two Malfoy Children!” Lucius was becoming giddy with excitement.
“Indeed. And the Dark Lord will find that frightening. A pregnant Harry Potter will be formidable! He’s going to be calling me, soon enough, just because you defected. Now, I’ll have to tell him this!” Snape scowled.
“Already dealt with. Dumbledore says to go ahead. If the Dark Lord feels overconfident by Potter’s condition, he won’t be as concerned by me or my family. Just no word of the pairing for the child. You don’t know how or who .. .simple!” Lucius continued “Now, I have to go talk to Narcissa. She and Poppy have been working out the delivery issues. You can return to your . . .lovers.” Lucius said waving to the loft.
Snape sneered but didn’t speak, so Roger did. “Are you coming back soon, Severus? I’m getting cold up here.”
Lucius’ eyes went wide and Snape just took his arm and led him to the door. “Next time you visit, Lucius, wait until I open the door, won’t you?” he said as he closed it behind the man. Then he rushed up the stairs.
Roger was seated at the end of the bed, a towel wrapped around him and a smug look on his face. Snape stopped at the top of the stairs and looked at him, a ghost of a smile playing at his lips.
“I’m sorry that I didn’t do what you said, and I hope you aren’t angry at me for speaking just now. I hated that he said those things to you,” Roger said looking away.
“I am not angry. Why are you out of bed?” Snape asked.
“I . . eh, needed to do something.” Roger mumbled.
Snape’s eyes opened wide in imitations of the expression the blond man had just made and he rushed forward. “Your cycle? It started?” he asked as he dropped to his knees and lifted the towel.
Roger wasn’t in his dorm, so he didn’t have access to his supplies. He had felt the first cramp as the men were talking so had rushed to the bathroom and grabbed some toilet paper. It was currently wadded up at the tip of his penis.
Snape gently shifted the wad to see the trickle of red that was beginning to soak the make-shift bandage. He replaced it and pulled the towel back. “Relax, Roger. I’ll take care of everything. Dobby!” he called.
The house elf popped in with a tiny cracking sound and stood nearby. “You called Professor Severus?” Dobby asked.
“Yes, Dobby. Go to Ravenclaw Tower and fetch a box from Mr. Davies belongings. It has some pink wrapped packages and an elastic strap.” Snape ordered.
“Will Master Severus be needing a special rubbish bin, also?” Dobby asked.
Snape turned a curious look, but was saved from asking by Roger’s “Yes, Dobby. Put it in the bathroom.” and he pointed to the door.
“Dobby will be back in no time.” the elf said popping out nearly silently.
“Rubbish bin?” Snape asked.
Roger nodded, “It’s a secret. Dobby is very good at secrecy.”
“I realize that,” Snape returned.
Dobby came back moments later with Roger’s supplies. When he had left, Roger spent some embarrassing moments as Snape proceeded to strap him into his ‘protection’ and then tucked him into bed with a anti-cramp potion. Then, the potions professor left for a bit, to fetch breakfast and post a notice on his classroom door, cancelling classes for the day. When he returned, he found Roger sitting up in bed, reading a book.
They breakfasted in bed and snuggled together, with Severus reading two chapter of the dreaded book afterwards. Roger napped as Snape went to Dumbledore’s office for a meeting and then they had lunch together.
