Chapter 16
The two boys raced back into the castle, breathless with exertion by the time they made it. Stopping just inside the front entrance, Draco pressed Harry against the wall and kissed him deeply.
Harry wrapped his arms around Draco's shoulders, pulling him closer. He was vaguely aware of movement in the background, but largely ignored it.
The movement became whispers, and the whispers grew louder, and still he ignored it until he finally heard a familiar voice.
"Harry... Is that you?" Hermione sounded confused, and Harry pulled out of the kiss to look around Draco.
"What's up, Hermione?" He asked, breathlessly. Draco snickered, and looked around at all the people coming back from Hogsmeade, gathered and watching them.
"What... why...when?" Hermione realized who Harry was snogging, and choked on her words. "What?"
"What are you lot staring at?" Draco called. "Can't a bloke kiss his boyfriend without half the school watching?"
"Bo- BOYFRIEND?" Ron shouted, muscling his way through the crowd to stand by Hermione's side.
"Boyfriend?" Harry asked quieter, looking up into Draco's eyes. They were tinged green with the reflections of his own.
"Yeah. Boyfriend." Draco leaned down and kissed him again quite thoroughly.
