Epilogue
Nearly fifteen years later, Severus, Head of Slytherin and Potions Master, and Hermione, Mediwitch to Hogwarts, sat in the Great Hall, watching as a small, black haired girl perched nervously on a stool in front of the whole school as Professor Flitwick levitated the Sorting Hat onto her head. The young girl’s hazel eyes twitched upwards as the Sorting Hat began to speak. Hermione grasped Severus’ hand nervously.
“Slytherin!”
Hermione looked up at her husband as a grin spread over his face. She broke into a laugh as he put one arm around her shoulders and kissed his wife’s forehead, much to the student body’s disgust.

As soon as the feast was over, Severus and Hermione crossed to the Slytherin table. Severus handed a piece of parchment with the new Slytherin dormitory password written on it to the nearest prefect before following his wife to where his daughter sat, chattering noisily with her new house-mates. She looked up and saw her parents smiling at her. Excusing herself she went and hugged her father.
“I knew you were a Slytherin, Aster,” Severus squeezed her tight. He released her and Hermione hugged her.
“Love you.” Aster chimed over her shoulder.

Sitting in their rooms, Hermione and Severus sighed. The place seemed so empty now that Aster had moved to the Slytherin dormitory, but neither Severus nor Hermione wanted to deprive her of that experience.
Setting her glass of wine down, Hermione closed her eyes. Who would have known that her naughty little plan to seduce Severus would have led to this.
“Sickle for them?” She opened her eyes to find Severus’ face so close to hers their nose were almost touching. She darted forward to kiss him, only to find herself swept off her feet as he picked her up to carry her to the bedroom.
