We are SOOO glad you enjoyed that last chapter! ;) Don’t worry, this one is full of some hot ‘n sexy Sirius on Remus lovin’. We just thought that it was much more realistic for drunk people to be all talk, and then once they get up to the bedroom it’s just time to pass out. ;) Keep checking back, we’ll have more for you soon!
Also, we are very sorry it took so long to get you an updated. Slambitious has been sick, and that combined with the Holidays really slowed us down a bit! :(

The Sexual Education of Remus J. Lupin
Chapter 15
Lesson Fifteen: Christmas Eve
______________________________________________________________________
Sirius didn't hear Remus' secret, because by the time the other had made it over to Sirus' bed, laid down on him, and began to speak, Sirius was already asleep. He awoke the next morning with a head-splitting pain in his skull and his clothes sticking to him more than he would have liked. It wasn't too bad, though, being that the two spent the following day just sleeping off the excess alcohol they drank, and finishing with a shower that they both desperately needed. The rest of the weekend was uneventful, compared to the overly eventful halloween party.
Before Sirius was ready for it, classes were coming to an end, and the Winter Holiday was quickly approaching. So there he was, sitting at the very back of History of Magic, nearly falling asleep as the ever monotonous Professer Binns droned on about something that Sirius wouldn't have been able to remember if you paid him. The only good think about this class was the fact that Remus sat right in front of Sirius, and if the dark haired male go too bored, he could just stare at his werewolf. He was thankful, also, for the birthday present Remus got him, that little notebook proving to be exceptionally handy in moments such as this.
It struck him then that perhaps he should pull out that notebook and entertain himself with writing to his werewolf. He knew for a fact that Remus had his very own twin to Sirius' book open on the desk in front of him, for Sirius had seen it while stretching in a very dramatic way with a loud sort of yawn that caught the attention of the girls in the room, but was ignored by the ghost of a teacher still speaking at the front of the class. With his quill poised in his hand, Sirius placed the tip of the quill against the notebook and began to write. “Oi, Remus. Guess what I'm thinking about. Give up? I'll give you a hint. Two words, 10 letters, rhymes with sucking stew.”
Remus was trying his very best to pay attention to Professor Binns, but even he, the student at the top of his class, had a lot of trouble with that. To be honest, the only reason that he did so well in History of Magic was that he read the text book cover to cover at least three times every year. He probably could’ve gotten away with never even showing up to this class, except to take the exams, but of course Remus would never skip a class unless he had an extremely good reason.
Remus was leaning on his hand, just fighting his eyes to get them to stay open and focus on what was going on, when out of the corner of them he saw Sirius’ slightly messy scrawl appearing on the page to his left. He smiled a little when he read what Sirius had written, dipping his quill into his ink and beginning to write a response.
“You’re thinking about sucking me, Sirius, and besides that’s not so mysterious. You only think about three things. Food, breaking rules, and having sex with me.” he wrote, a small little smile on his face. Remus was constantly taken by surprise that his life was actually his life, lately. He had the best friends anyone could wish for, and the best boyfriend in the world. He was in love, he was almost finished with school, and he had top grades. His life was looking pretty damn good right now.
Anyone who had seen Sirius bent over a notebook, scribbling something, while in class might just think he was taking notes. But of course he wasn't, because Sirius never actually took notes. James did, sometimes, but mostly the two of them just copied off of Remus, or got enough answers from the boy before exams. It wasn't as if History of Magic was any real class anyways, he wouldn't need it for anything when he graduated. He knew of no interesting job that would actually require him to remember exact dates of Trolls fighting each other or whatever else Binns was lecturing about at the front of the class.
The dark haired male smirked as soon as he saw Remus' handwriting appear under his own in the notebook. A handy little gift this was, being that no one else could see what was written but the authors themselves. He placed the end of the quill against his mouth and tapped it a few times. That wasn't really true, was it? He was more multifaceted than that, surely. Raising an eyebrow, he stuck his tongue out and bit it while, scribbling a quick message back to Remus. “Oi! Don't think so little of me, Remus, I have more dimensions than that. For example, Quidditch. I think about Quidditch a lot. And other stuff..like parties. “
He paused for a second, chewing lightly on the end of his quill. “Besides, you don't seem to have a problem with me wanting to fuck you all the time. I remember specifically that you wanted me to bend you over and beat you with that whip I got. So who's the naughty one now, hm?” Sirius snickered some, laying his quill down on the notebook and leaning back in his chair, careful to not fall over because no self-respecting wizard like Sirius would dare to lean back in his chair if he wasn't completely sure he could do it without falling over backwards and breaking his arse.
Remus watched as Sirius’ scrawl appeared under his neat and tidy hand writing, and promptly blushed. It was such a strange sensation to be able to talk about such things while surrounded by students, with a Professor up front lecturing about the Goblin Rebellion. He sucked on the end of his quill - a sugar quill, as always - before starting to write once more.
“Yeah, so what if I like a little pain during sex. It’s not as if you don’t like giving it to me you know.” he said softly, nibbling a bit on the sweet end of his treat, before glancing back at Sirius, his face still slightly pink. “But you shouldn’t be writing about all that now, you’re going to get me all worked up in the middle of class, and we’ve still got Potions after this.” he finished, attempting to turn his attention back to Professor Binns, though it was quite difficult to do now, what with the image of Sirius bending him over and calling him a little slut.
Sirius had to try hard to not chuckle at Remus' response. Of course he shouldn't be writing like that, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to. Remus knew full well that Sirius was all for breaking the rules whenever he could. And if he could mix that with getting to tease Remus, that was all the better. Smirking, even though the other had already turned back around in his seat, Sirius twirled the quill around between his fingers for a moment before jotting back a quick reply for the other boy. “There's nothing wrong with liking a little pain during sex. And I do loooove those noises you make when I give it to you.”
He paused for just a second, thinking back to when he had first figured out that the other was interested in pain during sex. That was one of his favorite memories between the two. “So what if you're worked up? It's not like I couldn't just bend you over right now, Binns wouldn't even notice. I'd have to find something to gag you with, though, because we both know you like to yell for me.” Sirius bit the tip of his tongue again, chuckling silently. If he could get Remus hard before the end of the class, it would be a class well spent.
Remus now had the image of Sirius bending him over in the middle of the classroom with a gag in his mouth, and fucking him right then and there. Great, now how was he supposed to concentrate? Fortunately for him, he didn’t have to worry about that for too long. The class ended shortly after Sirius’ last response, and everyone was shoving things into their bags, and getting up to head to the last lesson of the day. Remus followed suit, as did Sirius, and soon they were walking down the hall heading towards the dungeon, hand in hand.
The rest of the day went by rather un-eventfully, and though Remus would like nothing more than to escape up to the dormitory for a rather rough session with Sirius, he knew they didn’t have time. Mid-term exams were coming up in only a few days, and he was spending every waking second of his free time studying. Now was no different, of course. There he was, sitting in the dormitory with Sirius’ head in his lap, an hour before dinner, reading a book.
James and Lilly were also studying near by, the common room nearly completely silent except for the sounds of scratching quills and turning pages. The silence was broken a few minutes later by someone coming in through the portrait hole. It was Professor McGonagal, and she was carrying the sign up sheet where students could write their names if they wished to stay at Hogwarts during the break.
Remus nudged Sirius gently in the side and pointed this out to him, his eyes never leaving the pages of the book he was holding in one hand. “You should get a move on and sign up.” he said, knowing that Sirius was planning on staying for the break. Remus, of course, would be going home to visit his parents as he always did. At least, as far as Sirius knew, he was.
Sirius was ultimately disappointed that he wouldn't get to tease Remus anymore, once the class ended and everyone began to shove their things back in their bags. He was even more disappointed with the fact that he would have to put off anything with Remus for a while, what with the other needing to study and going home for Christmas while Sirius, no surprise, would be staying at Hogwarts. After they had finished their classes, the two resigned themselves to the common room for “studying”. Which really meant that Sirius was going to attempt to squeeze in some sleep while Remus was caught up in whatever book he was reading.
Head in Remus' lap, Sirius had almost nearly fallen asleep when the other nudged him. The dark haired boy began to pout, chewing on the inside of his cheek. He didn't want to go sign up when Remus was just going to go home and not invite Sirius to go with him. The boy didn't want to spend Christmas all by himself. Hell, he didn't really like to spend much time by himself, because he thrived off of attention, and it's impossible to get any when he's resigned to staying by himself during a gift giving holiday. Regardless, Sirius sat up, being careful not to knock Remus' book out of his hand, though in reality, he did want to. At least a little bit.
Heaving a dramatic sort of sigh, he launched himself off the seat they were on, strode over to the sign up sheet, and scrawled his name in large, heavy letters. With a cringe, he noticed that, so far, he was the only one staying. That changed quickly, what with three girls who had been studying in a group hopping up the instant they saw that Sirius was staying and running over, signing their names under his. He supposed it wouldn't be so bad, then, if a bunch of girls stayed for Christmas. At least he'd have some attention then.
Remus caught James’ eye as soon as Sirius had gotten up and grinned just a little, Lily winking at him. “We’ve got everything taken care of.” James said in a hushed voice. “Worked something out with the elves to have food sent, and Lily’s bought you a special erm, well, outfit. You know, for the big reveal.” he said.
Remus blinked and stared at Lily for a moment, who was beaming at him as if he were the cutest thing she’d ever seen. He went slightly pink. “Lily I don’t need a special outfit!” he hissed. She simply waved him off. “Of course you do! It’s got to be SPECIAL.” she said. “I’m going to teach you how to do your hair up all Christmas-like as well, so that you can really look the part.” she said.
Just then, she looked up and her eyes darted quickly back to her book as she leaned back against the chair once more, Remus doing the same, taking the hint that Sirius was returning. When the other boy sat down, Remus had to force the smile threatening to creep across his face away. “Don’t worry Sirius, I’m going to send you a very nice gift, and we’ve always got the journal.” he reminded his lover, tugging him gently close and putting his book down for just a moment. Remus had to remember to play his part. Normally, if he really was going to leave Sirius all by himself, he’d do plenty of loving and ego-stroking before he left.
But Sirius didn't want just any old present, he wanted Remus. He hated how whiney he was being about things, but he couldn't help it. Heaving another gigantic, overly dramatic sort of sigh, he flopped himself back down next to Remus and laid his head back on the couch. “You better let me shag you as much as I want when you get back..” He began, glancing over at Remus before moving his gaze back up to the ceiling. This seemed to be one of the rare occasions where Sirius couldn't pout his way into getting what he wanted. He had tried, almost the entire time since he found out that Remus was going to be going home.
“Why don't you just let me go with you?” He added, chancing another glance at his boyfriend before returning to pout towards the ceiling. That seemed like a better idea to Sirius than just staying here, waiting for a present from his boyfriend. Knowing Moony, it'd probably be another book, or something. Not that he didn't like the journal that Remus had already got him, because it was damn handy. Just then, the gaggle of girls that had signed up after him scampered by the couch Sirius was sitting at, one of the bolder of the group stopping right beside the arm closest to the dark haired boy. “You can spend Christmas with us, if you want, Sirius.” She said, batting her eyelashes, starring at him like he was the best thing she had ever seen. He chuckled some, then replied with a casual “Yeah, maybe.” If he wasn't going to spend it with Remus, he might as well spend it with someone.
Remus, though he knew he shouldn’t have, felt a slight pang of jealousy. The simple idea of Sirius spending Christmas with anyone but himself made his blood boil. Of course, he had nothing to worry about. Sirius would be with Remus for Christmas, the poor boy just simply didn’t know that quite yet. He turned his attention to the girls and offered a slightly sarcastic smile. “Just don’t get any ideas. If I hear any of you try to snag him under some mistletoe, or anything to that extent, you’ll be sorry.” he said, his smile growing fixed. “Now run along.”
Remus didn’t know, really, where that possessiveness had come from so strongly all of a sudden. Maybe it was simply the fact that now, both him and Sirius, since getting together, had at least kissed another person. The last thing Remus wanted was for Sirius to get so pouty that he lost hold of himself and spent his time shagging some girl. Of course, Remus trusted Sirius with his life. He trusted that he wouldn’t do it. What he didn’t trust, were the girls. Love potions were easy to disguise, and with Sirius moping around with no guard up, he would probably easily fall into a trap like that.
Sirius couldn't help but smirk when Remus turned possessive. It was adorable. The girl, however, clicked her tongue, rolled her eyes, and walked off to join the rest of her group without another word. Remus didn't really have much to worry about, Sirius wasn't really planning on shagging anyone during his time spent completely without the other boy during Christmas. Though, who knew, really, what would happen if he were under the influence of rather strong liquor and pretty women. It occurred to Sirius, just then, that Remus would be leaving him, really leaving him, in a matter of hours, for his very own Christmas holiday.
Turning quickly, he snatched the book that Remus still had in his hands away from the other boy and tossed it on the floor. If Sirius only had a few hours left with Remus, he was going to make them count, so help him Merlin. Before the other boy really had a chance to object, Sirius had moved forward, using his weight as leverage, pushing Remus back against the arm of the couch, Sirius on top of him. Without a word, the dark haired male leaned down and planted a kiss on Remus' lips, his forehead leaning against Remus'. He kissed Remus hard, a hand coming up to hold the other's shirt collar. His mouth moved quickly, almost desperately, because maybe, just maybe, if Remus realized what he'd miss, he wouldn't leave for Christmas. Before too long, though, the boy needed air. Pulling back, gasping a little, Sirius kept a hold of Remus' shirt collar, his head still laying against Remus' forehead. “I don't want you to go.” He said softly, his breathing still a little heavy. “But if you have to, just come back soon, okay?”
Remus had opened his mouth to tell Sirius just why he couldn’t come with him when he was pushed back towards the arm of the couch. “Sirius wha-” he was cut off by the other’s lips overtaking his own, and he let out a soft shuddering groan into the kiss. Fuck it. He had studied enough, he was ready for the last exam. “Sirius I..” he breathed once the kiss had broken.
He was so damn tempted to just tell Sirius he had only been doing this as a way to surprise him now, but that would ruin all the hard work James and Lily had put in, as well as himself. It broke his heart to see how badly Sirius was going to miss him, even though they’d really only be apart for about a day and a half, or so. “I’m sorry Sirius, I’ve got to go.” he whispered, the other still hovering over him. “But you know I’m going to be thinking about you every waking second of it.” he told the boy, which was one hundred percent true.
So Sirius' plan hadn't worked, and Remus was still going off for the holidays, leaving Sirius to fend for himself in the wilds of the Gryffindor Tower. So maybe he was a little melodramatic, but he didn't want Remus to go, he really didn't. He sighed softly, but didn't move from off of Remus. “Then stay with me now.” Sirius breathed softly, kissing Remus' top lip. At the moment, he didn't care if everyone in the common room saw him, and he didn't care that Remus probably just wanted to study. He didn't really care about the exam at all, to be truthful, but that wasn't much different than any other day. He held on tight to Remus' shirt collar, placing a few soft kisses to the other's lips.
“Stay with me so I don't miss you so bad..” He whispered, lips mere centimeters about Remus' again. Nudging his nose against the other's nose, he brought his other hand up, placing it on the arm of the chair beside Remus' head to hold himself up. Of course he wouldn't shag Remus right there on the sofa, not with the entire common room full with people studying. Perhaps he'd wait until a few cleared out before he went to town with his boyfriend for what would surely be the last time they'd get to spend together that way until after Christmas Break.
Remus’ heart was nearly breaking. He really couldn’t help it, he was going to give Sirius at least a bit of joy, even if he had to string him along and let him be miserable afterwords. “Sirius.” he whispered softly, pushing the other away a bit, before climbing off of the sofa and stretching over his head. “Well.” he said in a loud voice. “I am simply too tired to keep on studying, I think I’ll just go up to bed then, goodnight James, goodnight Lily!” he said, in a all-too-fake sounding voice.
He then headed up the steps without a second look back, knowing that Sirius would take the hint and follow him soon enough. Once he was upstairs, on his way to the bed, he pulled off his clothes, one piece at a time, until he was only in his boxers. He turned back, glancing towards the door, wondering what was taking Sirius so long.
Remus was a terrible actor, that was one thing Sirius was completely sure of. It wasn't too bad, though, being that the show was all just a hint for him to catch. And of course, he did. Sirius waited until he thought Remus had enough time to get up the stairs before standing up himself, and stretching his arms way above his head. “Right, bed time for me too. James, Lilligan, see you two later.” He gave them a smile before turning and sprinting up the stairs two at a time. Having long legs helped with some things, after all. By the time he reached the top of the stairs, he was already pink in the cheeks. So he ran full speed, but that couldn't be helped.
Slowly, he pushed the door to their dormitory open. It seemed that Remus had already removed almost all of his clothing. With an extended hand behind his back, he shut the door quietly. “You don't really have to go, do you?” Sirius asked, the same question he had asked a million times since he heard the news. He couldn't help that either, because he wanted so desperately for the answer to change. Crossing the room to where the other stood, Sirius wrapped arms around Remus from behind, laying his chin on the boy's bare shoulder. Turning his head to the side, Sirius placed a few kisses down the side of the other boy's neck, nuzzling there. It'd be Merlin only knew how before he'd get to do this again, and he wanted to keep Remus' scent on him for as long as he could.
Remus sighed a little when Sirius asked him that question once more. No matter how badly he wanted to just give up and tell Sirius, he knew he couldn’t. It would be worth it in the end, after all, to see his face so filled with surprise and joy. So, Remus simply nodded. “I’ve got to Sirius, you know I have.” he said, the kisses on his neck and the nuzzling sending a small shiver down his spine.
He turned, though, and wrapped his arms around the other’s waist gently as well, kissing him on the nose. “Sirius you’re...so cute.” he whispered. “Please don’t make this harder than it already is?” he asked, his eyes wide and pleading, Remus’ own signature puppy-dog eyes. Then he smiled, just slightly. “I’m a little sleepy.” he admitted. “But since we won’t be together for a while, I’ll let you pick...one thing to do tonight.” he said, kissing him once more.
With his own arms still wrapped around Remus, hands clasped together at the small of the other's back, Sirius just sighed softly, laying his forehead against Remus' forehead. He supposed that he should be a bit more adult about this. But it was Christmas. Their first Christmas together, no less, and it seemed odd to Sirius that Remus couldn't just think of something to say to his parents so that the sandy haired boy could just stay with Sirius. Sighing softly once more, Sirius chewed at the inside of his cheek. He could have one thing, just one, with Remus, before the other boy left the next day. It was odd, and completely unlike Sirius to only want one thing, but he did.
With a bit of quick maneuvering, Sirius placed an arm under Remus' thighs and lifted the boy up into his arms, one arm hooked under Remus' knees, the other wrapped around his chest. He supposed that he could have just let Remus walk, but that was very beside the point, because this was their last night, and he was going to make it count, damn it. A few quick steps and they were next to Sirius' bed. He laid down Remus gently, before climbing up on his bed himself, and laying down next to the other, his upper body covering Remus' a bit, their legs intertwining. Dark eyes stared down into amber orbs as Sirius just gazed at Remus for a moment. “I just want to kiss you..” He said softly, dipping his head down, placing a chaste kiss on the other's mouth.
“And touch you..” his breath floated out across Remus' mouth, while one of his hands found itself placed on Remus' stomach, stroking back and forth with his fingertips, and the back of his hand. He didn't want to say anything else, because that would waste time, and for the first time in a long time, Sirius didn't want to fuck anybody. He just wanted to be content and happy because god damn it, he wasn't going to see Remus for at least a week, and everyone knew what kind of pouty little puppy Sirius became when that happened the last time.
Remus felt his cheeks flush. He had thought surely, that Sirius would’ve asked him for a hand job, blow job, or most likely, to fuck his ass. Of course, Sirius had to surprise him. It was so sweet and cute that Remus couldn’t help but nuzzle into him happily. “Oh Sirius.” he whispered. “I love you.”
The night went by too fast, really. Sirius touching Remus here and there every now and again, though mostly the two simply laid together in silence, their bodies pressed together, gazing into each other's eyes. Though it wasn’t anything too fancy, or all that physical, it was marvelous. So romantic, and sweet, and cute, and...everything, all wrapped into one.
Then, before both boys new it, they were saying goodbye for the Holiday (as far as Sirius knew, of course). Remus was standing with his bags all packed, gazing up at his boyfriend in the entrance hall. “I’m going to miss you.” he said, pouting up at his lover. “So badly, but I’ll write to you!” he said, knowing he had to put on a good show.
In Sirius' mind, time must have sped up during the night, because before he knew it, Remus was awake, packing his bags, forcing Sirius down for breakfast, and saying the goodbye that the dark haired boy had been dreading for so long. With a bit of a sigh, he ran a hand through those messy brown locks, needing a distraction more than he needed a hairbrush at the moment. “I'm going to miss you too.” He said quietly, but that was an understatement. He wasn't sure why, exactly, that he was being so clingy to the other boy. It probably had something to do with Christmas, and them having so many ups and downs recently. Or it could just be that the boy was selfish and wanted Remus there with him, but one couldn't be sure.
Reaching out, Sirius wrapped his arms around Remus and pulled the boy into a tight hug, kissing the top of his head, and nuzzling it with his cheek. “I want at least a letter a day, you hear me?” Sirius said, pulling back just a bit so that he could look Remus in the face. “At least once a day. If not more. Lots more. I want a lot of letters, alright?” He was rambling, but that was the best he could do, considering the circumstances, and god help him, he was not going to cry, he was not a pussy, and he was going to get through this. Sort of. “And come back as soon as you can. Even if it's before break is over, just come back soon.” He hugged his arms around the boy tighter, almost afraid to let Remus go. He'd never really had to say goodbye to someone he cared about this much, and the feeling was scary.
Remus felt his heart breaking again for his poor boyfriend, but he knew that he would be back much sooner than Sirius even though. So, he gave a small nod. “I love you, Sirius.” he said, kissing him softly on the lips. Then, there was a loud blow of the Hogwarts Express whistle, and Remus had to go. “Bye!” he said, turning and walking out, giving Sirius one last glance before disappearing.
Remus, however, did not get into the train. He made his way down the grounds, past all the students at the station, and towards the whomping willow. Soon, he was climbing out of the tunnel that lead him to the Shrieking Shack, where he would spend his one day away from Sirius, and Hogwarts, in ‘hiding’ of sorts.
So, after getting things all set up, he decided to read until he thought he’d be back home, which was when he began to write in the journal.
Dear Sirius,
I just got back to my parents house. The train ride was uneventful, and I am already missing you painfully. (This was completely true, of course.) I know it’s going to be hard not spending Christmas together, but you know you are in my heart. I love you so much, and will be thinking of you as I fall asleep tonight.
Forever Yours,
Remus J. Lupin
Twas the night before Christmas, and in Gryffindor house, not a creature was stirring..except for Sirius Black. The male had spent the majority of the day up in his dormitory, what with Peter, James, and Remus all going home for Christmas. Of course, he could have simply went down to the common room and chatted with all the girls staying at Hogwarts for his benefit, but he just didn't want to. In fact, he didn't really want to do much of anything. He hated these sort of depressions, but they seemed to be something he just couldn't help. Damn Moony, damn him to hell. Not really, though, because Sirius didn't mind this little bit of sadness so much, what with the promise of letters and seeing his boyfriend again in a week to hold him.
So there he was, laying on his bed in the completely empty dormitory, with his chin resting on his hands, the journal Remus had bought him lying open in front of him. His hands were clenched into fists, knuckles pressed against each other as the dark haired male stared at the book. “Say something.” He said to the book, but in reality, to Remus. “Say something.” He'd been repeating this every so often for a few hours, just waiting for some kind of letter or something from Remus. “I'm here, so say something.” He sighed but didn't take his eyes off that book. In fact, the boy was completely prepared for the moment when Moony did write to him, what with a quill and pot of ink situated on the floor next to the bed.
“Wriiiiite sooomethinggg Remussss.” He whined, sighing and closing his eyes for a moment, resigning himself to the fact that Remus was just not going to write him anything for a while. It was then, when he opened his eyes, that he let out a gasp. There, in that perfectly prim handwriting that only Remus had, was a letter. He shot up quickly, doing a little wiggle in his seat before reaching down, grabbing the quill and the ink pot, and settling himself down to write something back. So he was excited, but he had been waiting for hours.
“Dear Remus,
I miss you too, you git, that's why you shouldn't have left me. (It was here that Sirius placed a rather sad looking face.) Only kidding, I love you too. I hope you're having a good time, at least. I'm probably going to sleep early tonight. (This was the truth.) I think I'll be breaking a lot of hearts by going to bed early, but I'm tired and I miss you. (This was probably true as well.) Sleep good.
Sirius.”
Remus smiled a little at the untidy scrawl that was his answer, and wrote him another note quickly.
“I know I know, but I think getting some sleep will be good. The sooner you go to sleep, the sooner it’ll be morning. That means present! I hope you like what I got for you.” he wrote, grinning a little to himself.
Of course, Sirius would love his gift, judging by how badly he already missed Remus. To be honest, though, it made Remus feel a bit good, at least, that Sirius wanted him around that much that he could barely handle the two being apart. He supposed that’s what being in love was really like, then.
Remus was right, the sooner Sirius went to sleep, the sooner he could wake up and open presents. “Right, I do get presents tomorrow. And you better have gotten me something sexy, Remus, or you don't get sex for a month. So go to bed, Remush. (He had affectionately adopted that name since Halloween night.) I love you, and write to me as soon as you can tomorrow.
Love Sirius
P.s, I'm only kidding about that sex thing, you know.”
He laughed at himself before closing the book and putting it on his bedside table, the quill and ink pot atop it. He'd wanted to continue talking to Remus for at least a little bit, but he had presents to look forward to tomorrow, and lots of eggnog laced with liquor that would be calling his name. With a small sigh, he stripped his clothes off, down to his boxers, and climbed back into bed, curling up under the covers. But try as he might, he couldn't get himself comfortable. Turning over once, and again, and then again, he finally resigned to curling up on his side, hugging one of his pillows, after punching it into a shape that resembled a human body. As much as he hated to admit it to himself, he was head over heels in love with Remus Lupin, and he honestly hoped it stayed that way for the rest of his life. With one final, fleeting thought of seeing Remus again, mixed with opening presents the following morning, Sirius closed his eyes and after a few moments, fell asleep.
Remus didn’t have as hard of a time falling asleep as Sirius was having. He knew that he’d be seeing Sirius in the morning, and he needed to be awake enough to do his hair how Lily had showed him (in a short moment that him and Sirius hadn’t been together earlier that day), as well as get ready and get himself up to Gryffindor Tower and all wrapped properly (James had shown him a handy little charm for this as well.) So, he had gone to bed immediately after reading Sirius’ final message for the night.
The next morning came, and Remus was staring at himself in the cracked mirror that was hung in the Shrieking Shack. He felt his cheeks heat up slightly. He looked completely ridiculous, he thought. His hair was tied up in a ponytail with sparkling red and green ribbons, his bangs hanging in his eyes a bit. (His hair had just recently gotten long enough to be put up, but he never did it. Thought it made him look too much like a girl). He had put the glitter in his hair just like Lily had shown him as well, and he felt like a complete and utter pouf.
Then, there was the outfit. It was some sort of bondage-like thing, not unlike the one Sirius had got him for Halloween, only this was made of red and green ribbons that shimmered and sparkled as well, most of his body being completely visible. He felt like a total idiot, though, he supposed if he saw Sirius dressed up like this it would be sort of cute, and obviously sexy considering how much skin he was really showing.
With one last glance at himself, he pulled on the invisibility cloak (which James had let him borrow), and began to make his way up to the tower. He arrived about ten minutes before, the alarms would go off (he knew, since he’d set them magically), and quickly conjured himself up a nice large (but not too large, so as not to give it away) box, climbed in, and then waved his wand to complete the wrappings on the outside. Then, he waited. Sirius would be up soon and find his gift.
