Chapter Fifteen - Graduation Party
A/N: Still a little lost about what I'm doing with this now. Is anyone lost about the date? I have the seventh years finishing classes sooner then everyone else, so Harry's last Potion's class (the accident) was about two weeks before term ended. The scene where Harry has the ultrasound up and Sev is all sweet was about a week before term ended. The next scene is the day before the day before they go home. (It's Friday, they go home Sunday.) The seventh years are having a party, because they're graduating. ONLY seventh years can attend, unless they're dating someone younger. Their date can then attend, only if they're fifth year or up. The Heads of House and the Headmaster also attend, as chaperons. The chapter starts at the party.
To my reviewers in general, I simply want to say, in general, thanks so much for reviewing! I love you all, I love reading the reviews, and I love replying! I'm just too tired to reply right now, lol. Please rate and review! - FallenAngel

Harry smiled up at Ginny and Draco, who were sitting with him whole Ron and Hermione danced. Poppy had agreed to let him attend the graduation party on one condition. He had to be in a wheelchair. "So..." Harry said casually. "Are you two officially-official yet?"
Ginny shrugged. "He hasn't asked me out yet, Harry, so I guess we aren't."
Draco was pink. Harry raised an eyebrow at him and stated. "Isn't your birthday in a few months, Ginny? You'll be seventeen, right?"
"Yah, I will." She replied. "August twenty-third." She grinned. "I absolutely cannot wait!" She did a little dance on the spot. "Mum said she'll let me get my bellybutton pierced after my birthday, ever since 'Mione showed off hers!"
Draco looked at her, surprised. "You're going to get a belly ring?" She nodded happily and he said in a hoarse voice, the look on his face clearly stating he was picturing it. "That's fucking hot."
Ginny grinned. "Yah, and the blue bikini 'Mione bought me will show it off so nicely!"
"You're going to show it off in a bikini?" Draco's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Ginny, can we speak privately?"
"I don't want to leave Harry alone." She replied in a level voice. "And Ron and 'Mione are still dancing."
Draco spotted Sev and beckoned him over. "Sev, stay with Harry until Weasley and Hermione get back. I need to speak with Ginny alone."
Severus nodded. "Of course, Draco. I'm happy to lend my services." Mentally, he was choking his godson, but he wanted to speak to Harry.

Draco pulled Ginny into an alcove on the far side of the Great Hall. "Why are you doing this?"
"Doing what?" She asked flatly. "I can do whatever I want, Draco. I'm not yours."
"Well you should be." The blonde snapped. His instincts and the spell demanded he stake claim on her.
Ginny frowned. "What the hell does that mean? You hang out with me all the time, sure, and you invited me to the party, but you haven't so much as hugged me since Christmas."
Draco sighed heavily. "I don't want to push you into anything, Gin." He stared out at the dance floor. "You've never said you liked me as anything other then a friend. I won't push you into anything."
"Oh my god..." Ginny's eyes widened. "Holy..." She stared at Draco, shocked, then turned on her heel and stormed off.
About halfway across the dance floor, Draco caught up with her, grabbing hold of her arm, causing her to shriek indignantly. She rounded on him and he saw she was fighting not to let tears fall. "Did you think telling 'Mione not to tell me meant I wouldn't eventually find someone who knew?" She snarled. "And to think, I foolishly thought you'd tried to keep it from me to protect me from the knowledge of what my friend was going through!"
Draco tightened his hold on her arm as she tried to pull away. "Ginny, listen to me!" He narrowly avoided her hand as she tried to slap him. "Dammit, Gin, would you just explain why you're so upset?!?" He shook her a little, then ducked as she swung again.
"Ugh!" She shrieked, tears falling down her cheeks. "Did you honestly think I wouldn't figure it out?" Her voice was low, but Draco caught every word. "I'm not as quick as 'Mione, but I'm not stupid, Draco. It chose me, didn't it?" The blonde said nothing, and she shrieked. "Didn't it?"
He nodded tersely. "Yes! And that's precisely why I didn't want you to know!" He screamed, losing his Malfoy cool. "I've spent the whole school year getting to know you, I played the nice guy, I tried to make you like me, all because I don't want you to feel forced...and where does it get me?!? NO WHERE!!! I want you, but you still don't want me!"
Ginny blinked, then said softly. "You really want me to be yours Draco? And," She added. "I mean you, not the stupid spell?"
Draco nodded. Ginny chewed her bottom lip for a second, then whispered. "Let the spell control you, Draco. Don't fight it, let it win. Please."
Within seconds, Ginny was in his arms as he kissed her fiercely. His arms locked around her, pulling her close; his lips and tongue claimed her mouth as his, and his alone. She gave herself up to the kiss, sliding her arms around his neck. She let him take, surrendered and let him know it without words. She trusted her instincts, which told her words would only upset them both.
A few minutes later, Draco pulled back to hear nearly deafening cheers from the students and teachers present. Draco looked down at her for a second, then dropped to one knee. Everyone watching grew silent and Ginny's eyes were wide.
Draco reached into his pocket and withdrew a box he'd been carrying around since Christmas. Ginny was shaking her head slightly. He opened it, revealing a stunning ring. It was a strip of silver metal braided with a strip of gold, leaving gaps between the places the metals met and twisted around each other. It was studded where the metals met with sapphires. Ginny's mouth fell open and the people close enough to see the ring gasped.
Draco took hold of Ginny's right hand. "Ginevra Rose Weasley, I'm madly in love with you. I've been waiting for the right moment to say this, and this seems like a good time. You," He glanced down at the ring, then back up at her. "You are intoxicating; my little Gin and Tonic. I've carried this ring around since Christmas, hoping to gather the courage to ask you this." He removed the ring from the box, holding it as though he were going to slip it onto the ring finger of her right hand.
"Ginny, will you do me the great honor of becoming my wife and making me the happiest man alive?" And this Draco said solemnly.
Everyone was holding their breath, watching Ginny to see her reaction. A single tear ran down her cheek and she took a shuddering breath. "Oh, Draco, I..." Another tear, and then she laughed shakily, nodding vigorously. "Yes!" She shrieked happily. "Merlin, Draco, yes!"
The Slytherin slid the ring onto her finger and stood just as she threw herself into his arms, laughing and crying and kissing him all at once. "I love you, Draco." She finally said.
"I love you, too, Gin." As he kissed her again, the cheering started back up. The Slytherins, of course, cheered for Draco, but the rest of the school cheered for Ginny Weasley, the only girl to ever bring a Malfoy to his knees.

Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch (inside joke, lol):
Harry watched Draco lead Ginny away, pointedly ignoring Sev. Within moments, Severus spoke. "You're being very open about your pregnancy now."
Harry sighed, resting his hands on his rounding stomach. "I was only hiding it so you wouldn't know." He explained. "There's no reason to wear the Glamour anymore."
"Look, Potter, it's dangerous for you to be so open about it." Severus was trying to be patient. "After you leave Hogwarts, you won't be safe anymore, and..."
"Your house isn't safe?"
Severus was stunned. "Wha...well, of course my house is safe. Safer the Hogwarts, even."
Harry nodded, staring at his hands. "So I'll be safe them." He sighed. "And so will Kelsea."
"Are you saying..." Severus began.
Harry cut him off. "Yes, I'll marry you. I don't have many other options and..." He broke off when he heard Ginny shriek.
Draco's and Ginny's fight had spilled over onto the dance floor. Harry shook his head. "They're idiots."
"What makes you say that?" He asked the Gryffindor, taking his eyes off the amusing sight of his godson dodging Ginny's blows.
"They love each other." Harry answered levelly. "But they're fighting it. Love shouldn't be fought."
Suddenly, the Great Hall echoed with cheers as Draco and Ginny kissed. "That's absolutely..."
"Perfect." Harry interrupted. "They are perfect. I just hope they see it."
Severus, who was standing and fairly tall, could see over‚the students' heads as Draco dropped to one knee and everyone grew quiet. "I have a feeling Draco does." He stated.
When, after a few minutes of nearly complete silence during which everyone was trying to hear Draco's words, Ginny began to shriek 'yes' and then she and the blonde were kissing again, Harry tried to figure out what was going on. He got his answer a few minutes later when Ginny ran over to show off her ring.
"Oh, Harry, isn't it wonderful?" She cooed. "It's so romantic, how he did it..."
Hermione agreed. "Oh, Gin, will you two marry right after your birthday because of the spell?"
Ron and Draco had wandered off to talk, so Ginny merely shrugged. "Draco will have to discuss the details with mum, I suppose, but maybe this summer will be a good time. Can't risk me being distracted or freaking out all next year."
Harry smiled weakly up at them. "Well, Gin, if you get married this summer, maybe we can have a double wedding." He laughed wearily, Severus coughed to hide a snicker, and Ginny and Herm swiftly changed the subject.
