Harry and Augusta had had a long session about lesson plans and connected learning in his study. She left and Harry sat hoping for a quiet rest in his big armchair. There was a knock. Harry bid the person enter. Neville and Luna came in, taking a seat when Harry offered.
“Harry, I hope you don’t mind but we’ve been collecting specimens from your woods. There are a lot of rare magical plants there. One pond is even full of gillyweed”
“You have left some, haven’t you?”
“Yes, of course we have. There are four plant growths which we haven’t touched, as there were too few specimens.”
“What are you going to do with them?”
“Yesterday, when you were busy we talked to my Gran. I was expecting an outburst when I said I had a girlfriend. All she said was: ‘about time too, bring her over to see me.’ So I introduced Luna. We chatted for some time and she said we could use some of her greenhouses to grow our plants. You know how I like Herbology, don’t you?”
“So we’re going to try to propagate your plants, Harry.” Luna put in, seeing that her boyfriend was about to waffle for ages. “There’s just time enough for them to get started before term begins. So, thanks for the holiday, and the show, it was great. So we and Gran will be Apparating in a few minutes time.”
Neville offered his hand; “See you at Hogwarts in about a fortnight. Thanks for having us, it was fun.”
Luna gave Harry a peck on the cheek and whispered, “Bye, Harry. Shame you like boys, at least I enjoyed seeing what us girls will be missing.” Then she kissed him again.
Harry stammered his goodbyes and blushed as some more of his guests departed.
Harry was just closing his eyes when Susan knocked; invited in, she sat looking at him intensely. “Harry, I have to go. Now Luna’s leaving I’ll be the only girl left in an all male establishment. Even with Ms Longbottom here, it’s not proper for me to stay, but she’s going too. However I would have been tempted to fly in the face of convention, if only one of you males had taken any romantic notice of me. Once I saw you with Billy I know I had no chance there, and now you seem to be subverting Ernie as well.”
“Don’t be too sure about Ernie. He doesn’t dream about men in the same way I do. His dreams are about women, so he tells me.”
“But he’s too tied up caring for his charges to notice little me. Still I do have one big consolation.”
“What’s that?”
“A sight of one of the most sort-after and succulent pricks in the universe plus a really curvaceous bum to back it up. Too bad its owner likes boys. Still, I bet I’m one up on Ginny Weasley and Cho Chang, in the viewing stakes at least. If only you’d asked, I’d have been in your bed like a shot.”
Harry was feeling his temperature rise in embarrassment at Susan’s candid talk, not knowing where to look. Susan took advantage, sat on his knee and slid her hand down behind his belt. Anyone fumbling down there got Harry’s hormones shouting, so Susan’s fingers encountered Harry’s rising star.
“So there’s hope for me yet?”
“’Fraid not, Susan; just teenage hormones responding.”
“Pretty convincing hormones, Harry.” Susan’s fingers were on full stroke now.
Images of Draco, Billy and the trio filled Harry’s mind as Suzan unzipped him and applied her lips to his appendage. When Harry arched preparatory to sublimation, Susan removed her lips and used her fingers on his glans, watching his cock lips winking in readiness for emission. When it appeared, so little was apparent that Susan was disappointed.
“Perhaps you’re not baby making material after all,” she said, wiping her finger over his slit and making him gasp.
This needled Harry. “This is the fifth time it’s happened today, what do you expect?”
“So there maybe is hope then?”
“No Susan. Give up. The other four times were with gorgeous boys.”
“Ah well! I might act as a slut privately, but outward appearances must be kept up. Goodbye Harry. You never know, I might just want to play with your pulsing pole at another time, just to see it in full flow, of course.”
Susan gave Harry a big kiss, which Harry tried not to return. Susan twizzled his knob with her fingers and he gasped, so things ended in a French kiss anyway. Susan departed whilst Harry gingerly tucked away his tender appendage, wondering if he might like girls as well.
“Hey Harry, where are you?” Dean’s voice called out beneath the study window.
Harry opened his eyes, sighed and replied, “Resting in my study.”
“Oh; Sorry! Okay if we come in?”
“Yes; I suppose so.”
Four young men crowded in, two of them sitting on his desk swinging their legs.
“Has Susan gone?” asked Justin.
“Yes. She said it was not proper for a single girl to be here with all us males.”
“Not proper, that’s rich, coming from her,” said Anthony, shuddering. “She’s had her hand inside my breeks a few times already. Quite fun, but she’s not my type.”
“She tried it on with me, but I managed to escape,” Justin offered.
“She knew we’re gay, so, apart from a quick grope, nothing happened with us,” Seamus added.
“Were you immune too, Harry?” asked Dean.
“She’s got good lips, but I envisioned Billy while it happened. However I liked the feeling of a girl down there too, maybe I’m bi.”
“You lucky blighter! Justin and I have to leave. There are one or two nice young ladies waiting for us at our homes. We really ought to spend some time with them.”
“If you don’t mind, Harry; Dean and I would like to stay for a few more days; if that’s okay with you?”
“So the double bed suits you then?”
“You bet.”
“Justin and Anthony, I’m very grateful for your support. It was great having my old DA mates round me again.”
“It won’t be too long before our group meets at school. We’re all looking forward to your lessons. Everyone in Ravenclaw is signing up, you know,” Anthony replied,
“But that’s over eighty people, if you include the first years.”
“Yes ‘Tutored by the famous Harry Potter, defeater of the Dark Lord’ will be a cachet everyone will boast about long after they’ve left Hogwarts.”
“Same in Hufflepuff too, Harry. The grapevine works quickly in magical circles,” added Justin enthusiastically.
“You know all the Gryffindors will come, don’t you Harry. Some were quite miffed not to have been included in the DA,” added Seamus.
“Oh no! That’s over two-hundred and forty students each week. However I doubt that the Slytherins will be that bothered.”
“Don’t be too sure, Harry. I have a couple of contacts there, and they say all the good ones want to attend. So that’ll be about two thirds of them.” Dean added to Harry’s worry.
“Never mind a tutor-in-charge; I think you’ve got a full time professor’s job there. You’ll have ter take each house year separately.” Seamus was doing calculations on a small piece of parchment. “Maybe three for each year if you split the Slytherins up; twenty ter twenty-five is a nice sized class. Possibly about thirty and two classes, no; that’s too many. Mmm?”
“Mmm … I think I’d better chat to Minerva … I’m going to need assistance.” Harry looked over Seamus’s shoulder at the parchment.
“I think we’d better be off Harry.” Justin and Anthony proffered their hands.
“Right Guys, thanks for your help. See you in a fortnight.” Harry sounded slightly preoccupied.
Once Justin and Anthony had Apparated; Harry, Dean and Seamus sat down in the study and made notes for about an hour, supping tea when Kreacher brought it in.
“Well Harry, there is no way you can take fourteen double periods a week There are only ten available. Add to that, seven prep periods a week, and four single extra periods for the sixth and seventh years; you\'re going to need almost another full time assistant.”
“Yes and then there’s the duelling club; which is really essential, and my consultation periods with Augusta, I shan’t have any time to study except at the weekends. I shall go mad without some respite. I’m going to have to floo Minerva.”
Harry went next door to the floo room. “Hello Minerva, we need to talk.”
“I was just about to floo you too Harry. I have the Governors with me and we’ve taken a break; mainly so I can talk to you. To put it simply, we have three houses with ninety-nine percent take up on the DADA option. It’s unheard of, even during the previous war. Slytherin is about sixty percent at the moment, and I’m vetting those applications very carefully. The Voldemort and subsequent Master scare accounts for some of the interest, add to that, your being famous, and everyone wants to be in your class.”
“We had a straw poll here and came up with much the same conclusions. There appears to be enough to keep two people busy, never mind just a single tutor-in-charge.”
“We are of the same opinion Harry. What would you say to an honorary master’s degree in DADA and the offer of a Junior Professorship? If you accept, the salary trebles and we will have to find you an assistant. The arrangement with Augusta would stand, of course. To justify the master’s degree you would need to produce a research paper by the end of the third year; then we would make it ‘cum laude’ finally”
“As it is still an emergency and we have to train as many people as possible to replace the combatants killed or seriously wounded, I feel I must accept. However I am worried about being able to study some of the other subjects at a later date. I have also been considering how to use the Imperio hex in battle. Briefly, if you can force your opponent not to curse or hex someone, it would be better than killing them. Obviously that would need expanding and I would need permission from the Ministry to use Imperio in an experimental way.”
“The Ministry is giving us the extra money to employ your assistant. They saw our move in appointing you as helpful in the present situation. Personally I think they’re scared of public opinion, after they pooh-poohed your first revelation of Voldemort\'s return; now they daren’t ignore the Master’s scare. Your brief outline has possibilities, so we’ll push them into granting you an experimental licence. Now who do we appoint as your assistant?”
I have had an idea about the assistant, not that I have discussed this with anyone yet. However, Hermione is good at inventing and teaching her new spells, but neither of us is good at tactics. The whole thing reeks of nepotism, I know, but the best tactician I can think of is Ron. It was his deployment on Saturday that won us through with minimal injuries; I think I would have jumped in too soon. As long as he doesn’t become angry, his coolness and perception are very good. What about two part-time tutorships, each with an extended period of study attached, like you offered me originally. Another reason I suggest them is that we have worked as a team since Hermione got into trouble with that troll and they were my helpmeets when we ran Dumbledore’s Army. Our team work in defeating Voldemort goes without saying, and we co-operated well on Saturday last.”
“Harry, are you sure you don’t have a pair of extendable ears in my study? The governors were thinking along the same lines too. As well as that, we were going to ask Augusta if she would advise your little team, for suitable extra remuneration, of course. Will you give me a few minutes with the governors, and then I’ll floo you by return.”
“Yes, of course. I have a small item of news. Our trio are now speaking to us and they’ve lost their stiffness. We still haven’t come round to discussing what they remember, though.”
“How does Ernie feel about things?”
“Happy, but cautious; he wants to make sure there is no relapse, and the parents have yet to be faced, followed by the world at large.”
“I might come over to see you after the meeting. There’ll be more contracts to sign apart from seeing your latest successes.”
“We can offer you a small en suite room if you want to stay over.”
“Thank you! The way I feel at the moment, I want to hide my head under the pillows for a week. I daresay I could wangle a complete day’s rest; especially if I tell no one where I am.”
Harry removed his head from Minerva’s fire not daring to believe his luck in having the only job he really liked. He sat quietly going over the parchment that he, Seamus and Dean had prepared, knowing that what had been just ideas a minute or so ago, were now real plans with hopes for the future. Harry sat for nearly quarter of an hour contemplating the structures which the three of them had worked on; he was also realising that he would have to set tests and mark papers. He was beginning to wonder if he was up to it when the fire started to glow.
“Hello Harry.” It was Ron’s voice. “Thanks Mate, how did you wangle it?”
“I didn’t! You’re the best bloke for the job.”
“Go on! You must have pulled some strings. Not that I’m complaining, mind you.”
“Ron! Who can beat you at chess? Who got me through the chess game for the Philosopher’s Stone? Whose tactics got no one killed in our operation on Saturday? Who supported me in the final conflict rallying the troops?”
“That was just luck.”
“No it wasn’t, and deep down you know it. How’s Hermione taking it?”
“She’s rushed of to start writing tests and exams, and she’s found a book for me called ‘How to be an Efficient Instructor’.”
“Well test writing is one of the things I’m not looking forward to.”
“Do we have to have them, they’re a real pain?”
“How else do we know that someone can actually do what we think we’ve taught them? Moreover how can we prove to someone else that the person is of sufficient calibre?” Harry was recalling a similar discussion with Gran.
“That’s roughly what Hermione said. We could just vouch for them, couldn’t we?”
“What happens if we have Draco Malfoy in our class? You know how snide he is, but despite that he is good. Now, if you set Neville a task and he nearly blows himself up, but you can see he’s trying really hard. Both of us would be tempted to mark Malfoy down, because of his attitude, and mark Neville up because he really tries hard.”
“Yeah, of course we would. Neville’s a real tryer. Malfoy’s a shit and wants taking down a peg or two.”
“Maybe, but Malfoy could move on and be taxed with something more difficult. Whereas, we’d have to go over the job a few more times with Neville, in order to help him to do it properly. He was great in the attack on Hogwarts, and even better at killing that snake, so we’d be letting him down if we said he could do something when he couldn’t. It may result in someone getting killed.”
“Okay I see the point. Here’s Hermione.”
“Hello Professor Potter, one of your tutors calling in.”
“Miss Granger stop being prim, I’m still Harry, and you know it. Got any new charms to show me?”
“Apart from the personal ones that only Ron has seen? Not just yet, everyone wants to learn the mirror defence.”
“I’ve been thinking about that. It should be one of the basic charms to be learnt during the first year. At least it will give any youngster a chance to survive. Hex tennis might be a fun way to teach it, gradually increasing the complexity or severity of the challenge as our students become proficient. What do you think?”
Harry, Hermione and Ron sat by their respective fires discussing possibilities, and the order things should be taught in. Ron talked of varying the content so people didn’t become bored and that each spell learnt ought to have its practical use explained at much the same time. Hermione suggested different approaches to the same subject, so that if someone missed the point one way, they might catch it from another direction. She used the Draco/Neville situation to explain how Ron would be good with Neville and that she and Draco were quite often on the same wavelength.
They would have chatted for a couple of hours if Minerva hadn’t turned up in Harry’s Apparating Area. She was accompanied by the Minister and Augusta.
“Welcome Minister, Headmistress, Gran. You are just in time for dinner, please stay; we can talk about things over our meal.”
The three guests accepted Harry\'s offer and they went to the dining room.
“Harry, where have you been? We’ve been looking for you; can you come and play with us?” Wash was dancing up and down in eagerness.
Billy was there with Ernie and the trio.
“Wash, do you remember what we said about Billy and working?”
“Yes Harry?”
“Well, just at the moment I’m working with these three people, we have some important things to discuss.”
“Does that mean you don’t like us any more?” Coal asked looking crestfallen.
“I still like you three, and Ernie and Billy, but I have to ration my time between all the people I like, don’t I?”
“Yes … But …”
“Come along my three friends. We’ve had our dinner, let Harry and these friends eat their dinner in peace. You promised to show me that special game of dominos didn’t you?” Billy saved the day, distracting the trio’s attention away from Harry, and making them enthusiastic about something else.
Kreacher appeared, in butler guise. “Master, John has come to see you.”
“Is this, this clueful vicar Augusta told me about?”
“Yes Minister.”
“I’d very much like to meet him.”
“Thanks, Kreacher. Show John in, we might need another place for dinner too.”
“Yes Master. - - - - - - - - - Father John, ladies and gentlemen.”
Harry made the introductions, and after the usual greetings John accepted Harry’s invitation to dinner. “After all, I haven’t missed a meal at home all week. My wife will think I’m softening if I don’t miss at least two.”
Augusta and hieroglyphs made one connection, John understood about a headmistress, but he was a little taken aback with the concept of a Minister for Magic, and his department.
“Well, having seen Harry’s clan, I must suppose there are many more older and even more responsible people. So a ministry is quite feasible. You are better off than the church is. Some of our bishops sit in the House of Lords, but the Commons are pulling the Lords’ teeth at the moment. Anyway the bureaucrats make most of the policy so I’m honoured to meet such an august personage.”
The chat over dinner was about the events of last Saturday. John learnt that there had been another attack and about Harry\'s new appointment among other things. Afterwards John and Augusta put their heads together over a book Augusta had borrowed from the Hogwarts\'s library. The Minister, Minerva and Harry went to his study to discuss his appointment and the need for an Imperio licence. Because Harry and Minerva had the Minister over a barrel it was granted. Before he left, the Minister had a quiet word with John, whilst Augusta and Harry got together with Ron and Hermione through the floo system, arranging dates to meet and start planning the lessons for the forthcoming term.
The magical guests departed and John stayed behind to see the three boys. He arranged with Ernie for the Mothers to visit the following day and thanked Harry for helping their recovery so quickly. Harry blushed and stammered his thanks, not knowing whether John knew about the method used and not daring to reveal it either.
When he went to see the boys it was fairly late and he did not feel up to multiple sex celebrations and was wondering how to let them down gently.
“Hello Harry,” Coal started, “sorry, but we had our fun without you. Billy\'s is as big as yours and he let us play with it. Really we played with each other and Ernie joined in too, though he’s not as big as you two.”
Harry felt relieved and winked at a worried Billy, letting him know it was all right.
“Friends, you have some visitors tomorrow so maybe it would be good to go to sleep.”
“Yes,” said Grey, all excited. “It’s our mums.”
“I hope they bring us some cherry sponge, mine did last time I was in hospital,” Wash added.
“Why were you in hospital, Wash?”
“We fell out of a tree and I was on the bottom. When they landed on me I cracked some ribs.”
“He makes a very good cushion,” added Grey, “we didn’t get bruised at all. When we went visiting we helped him eat the cake.”
“You mean you pinched most of it. If I hadn’t grabbed some I wouldn’t have had any at all.”
“That’s what mates are for, isn’t it? Sharing everything with. We\'ve been sharing cocks for a long time too, haven’t we? Well until those horrible men came along. I wonder what happened to them, that old biddy with them was horrible, too.”
“I think I prefer you two to girls. I didn’t like those men, though what they did was exciting wasn’t it?" Coal showed obvious signs of enjoyment. “I can\'t remember what happened after that. Can you?”
“Not really. C’mon, I’m tired. Let’s go to bed, maybe we’ll remember in the morning.” Wash came over to Harry and gave him a big goodnight kiss.
Whilst they so were engaged, Wash’s hand unzipped Harry and tickled his todger. Coal was next with another wet kiss and some caresses of Harry’s now rampant rod. Grey was last, twizzling his fingers round his host’s knob-end. Harry was confused and very much turned on. Billy came to his rescue, placing his lips round the scarlet glans and giving Harry head. The boys were undressing and watched avidly as Harry gaspingly came inside his lover’s mouth.
“C’mon lover, you can return the complement in our room.” Billy held out his hand and Harry followed him dutifully, licking his lips in anticipation.
