The End
Beta'd by: Megan (meglw0228) Thanks again!
Somehow, the two of them managed to get Al to do his school work. Now they had two weeks left before school started and no more homework.
As he'd intended, Draco invited the entire Weasley family over to the Manor for Scorpius' birthday party. Molly Weasley was still quite upset by her grandson's refusal to hug her at Ginny's funeral and so sat by herself in a corner for the first hour or so. Now, Scorpius only showed affection to Albus, his grandmother, and his father as every member of the Malfoy family had always been taught. However, even he couldn't bare to see the Weasley Matriarch in the state she was in.
Scorpius walked away from the crowd of people and headed to Al's grandma. Kneeling at her side, he silently wrapped his arms around her. He didn't see it, but both Albus and Rose were grinning at the scene. Molly wrapped one arm around Scorpius and spoke softly.
"I'm so sorry. I feel like I'm ruining your birthday."
"You're not. You're perfectly allowed to be upset by what happened. No one blames you, least of all me." Scorpius responded. Molly pulled him into a bone-crushing hug, reserved for those she considered family.
Harry looked over and nudged Draco when he saw Molly and Scorpius. "You realize of course that that hug makes him an honary Weasley, right?" Harry questioned.
"Does it now?"
"Yes. I know from experience." He turned to look back at the woman who'd adopted him as her own. "Molly, he needs to breathe, you realize?"
"Right. Sorry." She let go of Scorpius and stood up. "Where's your grandmother?" She asked Scor.
"In the kitchen with the house elves." Immeaditly, Molly headed for the kitchen.
"We're not going to see her the rest of the party. You've let her in the kitchen, and now she's lost." Bill sighed dramatically.
"At least she's doing something productive." Charlie sighed.
"What do you mean?" Harry asked.
"Ever since Ginny's funeral and James' refusal, she's not been doing much of anything really. She's barely been in the kitchen, or done any knitting. We were beginning to worry about her. It hadn't even been that bad when Percy left." Charlie gestured to his younger brother.
"And don't you even start feeling bad, Harry James Potter. It is not your fault. Besides, James'll come around eventually." Hermione cut in before Harry could even think to feel bad.

After the party, Molly kept coming over to Malfoy Manor at every oppertunity she had. She and Narcissa would spend hours together, knitting or walking in the garden or talking about their grandchildren. Arthur said that it was doing her good to get out and talk to a woman her own age, so nobody mentioned the fact that it was an odd occurence.
When Severus came back again, a week later, it was to find a very different Albus than the one he'd left.
"'Lo Severus. We weren't sure you were going to show up before school started again." Al smiled.
"Time for school already? I was gone longer than I thought." He mused aloud. "Well, then I suppose this is good-bye boys."
"Why?" Both Scorpius and Albus jumped up from their spots on the couch in Al's room.
"Because, I fulfilled my self-imposed mission. I don't need to be here anymore. But if you absolutly can not get past something on your own, call for me. I'll hear you." With that he left the room to say goodbye to Narcissa.
"He's just leaving, just like that? That hardly seems fair." Scorpius complained.
"But it makes sense. He finished what he set out to do." Al sighed and sat back down.
"Oh fine." Scorpius sat back down as well. "Still sucks though."
"Yes, I know." Al leaned over and rested his head on Scorpius' shoulder.
~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3 years later ~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Do you, Scorpius Draconis Malfoy, take Albus Severus Potter to be your wedded husband? To have and to hold in sickness and in health till death do you part?"
"I do."
"Albus Severus Potter, same question." The guests all smiled, knowing that Charlie Weasley wanted the two young men to be bonded as soon as possible.
"I do." Al grinned.
"Right then. By the power vested in me by some random guys who gave me a bonding license, I now pronouce you husband and husband. You can kiss now." And they did just that.
Half way through the reception, Albus stepped outside to get away from everyone and be out in the cool night air for just a few minutes. Looking to his left, he saw someone peering in through one of the windows. Wait, he knew that shadow.
"James?"
"Hello Albus." James stepped into the light where Al could see him properly. He looked like he hadn't eaten in a while nor slept in an actual bed in a rather long time.
"Where have you been? Dad tried looking for you and we couldn't find you."
"Well, for a while I was plotting revenge. Then, I used up everything Mum had left to me and I've been living where ever I could."
"Oh James. Come inside, get some food. I'm sure you can stay with Grandma and the Burrow."
"Wait, after everything I said to you, you're willing to let me come to your Bonding reception?"
"James, you may've been a right pain in the arse, but you're my brother. Besides, you needed someone to blame for Mum's death and if I were you, I'd've done the same thing." Albus pulled his older brother into the Hall by his arm.
Slowly, the nosie in the Hall died down as everyone realised that Albus had walked in with James. "Grandma, can I get some food over here for James, please?" Al called out into the silence. Immeaditly, Molly Weasley was on her feet, hurrying to get food. "Come on."
By the end of the night, James had apologized profusly to every single member of his family, including all three Malfoys. Generally speaking, he was accepted back without any problems. Everyone could understand why he did what he did.
A month later, James was happily working at Weasley's Wizard Weezes in Hogsmeade. He lived in the apartment above the shop and got to see his family often. Albus and Scorpius planned to adopt children instead of having a surragante mother. Harry and Draco also planned to follow in their sons' footsteps and get Bonded, but they haven't told the rest of the family yet.
A/N: Yes, this is the end. I hope you all enjoyed it and thanks so very much for sticking with me this long!!! I have another story coming out soon called Three's Company. I should have the first one out hopefully before Christmas.
