Narcissa gingerly opened the door, looking and listening for any sign of Draco. She stepped inside, and beckoned Harry to follow her. The two stepped into the house.
“Tilly!” she called softly, and a small house-elf appeared in front of her. “Is Master Draco home?” she asked the little creature.
“Yes, Miss Narcissa. Poor little Miss Draca…” squeaked the little elf, and reached up to wipe a giant tear.
Narcissa’s eyes widened. “Where are they? Where are they Tilly?” she cried, grabbing the little elf.
“They is in Miss Draca’s room! Her cries is terrible….” The little elf said. Narcissa let go of the little creature, and all but dragged Harry upstairs. As they climbed the stairs, faint cries became more audible. By the time they had reached the top stair it was clear that someone on this floor was in terrible pain. Narcissa carefully approached Draca’s room. The door was cracked, and she peeked inside. Her face withdrew quickly and she clapped her hands over her mouth to keep from screaming. Harry gently pushed her aside and looked into the room.
Draca was bent and tied over the high stool. It had been placed in the center of the room, and from the position she was in, Harry could see her backside. His breath caught in his throat as he watched. Draco was wielding some sort of long metal object akin to a cane. But instead of just stinging the skin as the cane did, this little object was biting into the skin and drawing bloody little stripes. From where he was standing, Harry could only see three little blood stripes, and he aimed to keep it that way.
He looked at Narcissa. “Can you distract him?” he asked, his breath barely above a whisper. She nodded softly. He drew his black robes around him, and murmured a spell. He then faded from view. Narcissa could hear Draco in a tirade, yelling and cursing at Draca. She could also hear the little girl sobbing for mercy. She drew in a breath, drew her wand, and pushed open the door. Draco’s face whirled to the door, and a grin formed on his face as he saw his mother.
“Do you want to join her? A few colorful marks on your back, perhaps?” he asked. She pointed her wand at him, and he laughed. “My sweet Goddess, mother….you want to play this game again? So soon?” he asked, and drew his own wand, casting the metal pointer aside. She stepped inside the room, where she hoped she allowed enough room for the invisible Harry to step in as well. She felt a gentle breeze pass her, and knew that the man was in the room.
“I want a rematch. You cheated.” She said, and cast a knockback jinx at her son. He cast a reflective curse, knocking her spell back at her. The spell caught her in the chest and she was thrown straight back, and out of the room into the hallway. Draco laughed, and walked out of the room himself, his wand still pointed at her as she struggled to get up.
Harry approached the sobbing child. He placed a hand on her shoulder, and she jumped, looking around for the source. He murmured another spell, and faded back into view. She looked at him with relief.
“Hello, Draca. Remember me? I’m James’ dad.” He said, and immediately began working on trying to untie the girl. Unfortunately for him, the stool had been jinxed so it didn’t leave the floor, and her position caused him to have to turn his back to the door. He had managed to get her arms loose before he felt something poke him in the back.
“Don’t move, Potter.” Came Draco’s voice, and Harry froze. Apparently Narcissa was not where Draco got his dueling skills. Damn. “Drop your wand.” He ordered, and Harry let go of his wand, and it fell to the floor. “Arms behind your back.” And Harry obeyed, and immediately felt his hands bound by a spell. Draco took him by the back of the robes, and jerked him away from the girl, and turned him around. And he got his first look at Draco in a long time.
Draco’s hair had been cut short all around, and left longer in the front, where Draco had spiked it up in some sort of vain attempt to look cool. But overall his face was still the same pale, pointed, and arrogant face he remembered from school. Draco shoved him against the wall and the pushed him to his knees. “Stay there, or I’ll make you wish you’d never come to Malfoy Manor. And he started to turn away. But then he reached into his pocket, and pulled out a kerchief. He then used it to gag Harry. “I never liked your loud mouth.” He said, and then walked away from him.
But he let out a cry of rage, and Harry immediately saw what had upset him. Draca had released her own feet and had disappeared. He was out of the room in a run.
Draco ran down the stairs looking the Draca. He reached the bottom of the stairs and stopped, trying to think about where the girl would have gone. He walked from the stairway to the foyer, and froze when he saw what was there. Or…who was there. He watched silently as his father had knelt to his knees with his back to him, a sobbing bundle in his arms.
This threw a wrench in his plan. But he decided to try and overcome this bump. He snuck up behind his father, who was too busy trying to calm Draca to notice. He extended his wand to his father’s back.
“Lucius!” came a scream behind him, and Lucius turned around in time to catch the stunning charm to his chest. He struggled momentarily, his eyes locked with Draco’s, and then he collapsed, losing his grip on Draca. Draca screamed, and immediately tried to rouse her grandfather. Draco turned around as his mother screamed again. She was limping as she ran towards him. Her wand arm was dangling at her side, but she threw herself on her husband, desperately trying to wake him. Draco threw his mother and daughter back with a jinx.
“You two just earned front row seats to my revenge.” He said, and placed them both in full-body binds before levitating his father’s body. He walked up the stairs with his father floating in front of him. He levitated the man into Draca’s room, and nearly had a heart-attack at what he saw. Harry was sliding across the floor using an up-and-down motion like a worm, heading towards his discarded wand. Draco let his father’s body drop and cast a full body bind on Harry. Harry’s eyes flew to Draco, and then to the body on the floor. “You’re a tricky little thing, Potter. You really would have done well in Slytherin.” He said, grinning at the look of horror in Harry’s eyes.
He then levitated his father over to Draca’s bed, and tied him in a kneeling position to one of the bedposts. Harry watched as he left the room, and then re-entered moments later dragging his mother and daughter in with him. He then noticed for the first time that Abraxas had followed him in, a huge grin on his face.
Draco grinned. "Welcome, son. You're just in time."
