What is going on?
Even through the mind numbing pleasure, Lucius was able to roll over, pinning Annie under him. Her eyes were clamped shut, a tear rolling out from under her lashes and down her cheek. Gently, Lucius kissed it away.
"Why didn't you tell me?" he asked, trying to master the impulse to move.
"How many people did you think I’d slept with?" She opened her eyes slowly.
"Well," he shrugged carefully, "I just thought... you've been out with loads of people..."
Annie slapped his shoulder lightly, "What kind of girl do you think I am?"
"Mmm..." Lucius growled, "Mine." He kissed her hard.
"Then move, already!" Annie hissed, pushing herself up.

Some time later, Lucius collapsed next to Annie, as she murmured a cleaning spell. She dropped her wand to the floor and rolled over. Lucius pulled her into his arms, her head coming to rest on his chest as he pulled the covers over them.
He kissed the top of her head, "Amazing... You... Amazing..."
"I must be if you can't even speak properly." She smirked quietly.
Lucius squeezed her tightly, "Shut up."

"Where have you been?"
Annie turned around quickly. Pat was scowling, her hands on her hips; she looked remarkably like their Grandmother.
"Out," Annie shrugged, still wearing a smile that she couldn't shake off.
"There's something different about you," Pat frowned, "I know you too well. What have you done?"
"Nothing!" Annie grinned, stuffing the invisibility cloak back under her pillow.
"Tell me." Pat demanded.
"No." Annie laughed.
"Tell me!"
"No!"
"Tell me!" Pat screamed, throwing a pillow across the room. It missed Annie by and inch.
"Fine," Annie sighed, sinking down on her bed, still grinning, "I was with Lucius -"
"Yeah, yeah, nothing new," Pat yawned, "What has he done? Proposed?"
"No!" Annie gasped, then she smiled again, "Better..."
"Oh. My. God." Pat sat next to her, "Don't tell me you... you know...?”
Annie nodded, still dreaming, "Amazing..."
Pat just scowled good naturedly, happy for her love struck cousin.

Lucius met Annie after breakfast. Every time he looked at her he remembered... every thing...
Outside the Great Hall, he grabbed her around the waist and kissed her. When she was finally let free, she smiled brightly.
"You going to Hogsmeade today?" She asked.
"Yes." He smiled, "With you."
"Is that so?" She raised her eyes brows.
He was a teenage boy, for Merlins sake! He couldn't help it! He had to kiss her again.
Annie broke away and went over to the marble staircase, shouting over her shoulder, "Let me get my coat!"
Lucius leaned against the wall, smiling. Hermione walked towards the hall. She winked at him and jerked her head towards Annie. Lucius' smile widened.

Severus waited until Hermione was seated beside him and sipping her coffee before he spoke.
"How are you feeling?" He asked.
She sighed, put down her cup and turned to him. He was about to bite into a slice of toast, but she took it out of his hand and put it back on the plate in front of him.
She crossed her arms over her chest and said quietly, "I am going to ask you now, Severus, to stop this. I will not answer that question, because you know that I am feeling fine. I wish you would forget what ever made you ask me that. I am going out to Hogsmeade today and there will be no argument, because I. Am. F-I-N-E. Fine. Do you understand? Good."
With that, Hermione picked up the slice of toast he had been about to eat and stuffed it into his open, ready-to-argue mouth. She drained her coffee, stood up and whirled out of the hall, leaving a stunned Severus behind her.
""""""""""""""""""""
Hermione sighed and calmed herself as the red head sat down opposite her.
"I didn't think you would have got my letter." She said quietly.
"Yeah... I was almost late." he answered awkwardly.
Early that morning, Hermione had sent Ron an owl, asking him to meet her in The Hogs Head at midday, for some privacy. She still wasn't sure it was the right thing to do, but she guessed that he wouldn't do anything with so many students wandering around right outside.
Hermione laughed nervously, "Well, this is strange..."
He smiled quickly. There was silence for a while, but then he seemed to burst, "Look, Hermione, I know this is no excuse, but Draco persuaded me! He knew I really liked you and he... he..."
"He played on it?" Hermione suggested.
Ron nodded vigorously, "He played on it! Please! I've lost every thing! I know that if you forgive me, the others will! Please!"
Hermione sighed, "Ron you do realize that what you did was wrong, don't you?" He nodded. "And you do understand that me and Severus are married and we do have a daughter, don't you?"
He frowned, then slowly nodded, "What's her name?"
Hermione smiled, feeling much better, "Eileen."
Ron's mouth dropped open, "As in... his mother?"
Hermione nodded and said patiently, "Yes Ron, as in his mother."
Ron was about to speak when some one shouted.
"What are you doing here? !"
Hermione and Ron looked around and Hermione was surprised to see that Lucius wasn't the one being restrained. He was only barely holding Annie back.
Ron stood up, "Annie -"
"Don't you dare talk to me!" The girl screeched, "Don't you dare!"
"Hey, take it easy, baby." Lucius whispered gently to her, but when he looked up at Ron, his eyes were cold with rage. His eyes softened as he looked to Hermione, "What's going on?"
The old bar man looked like he wanted to know the same thing, although not because he cared for Hermiones safety.
Hermione turned to Ron, talking so the other couple couldn't hear "I think you should go. I'll owl you later when I have time -"
At that moment, an old man stumbled through the door. He was dirty, sort of like a tramp, with long, matted, grey hair and an old pair of dark sun glasses. He was shouting.
"He's alive! VOLDEMORT'S ALIVE!"
""""""""""""""""""""
Annie yelped and Lucius pulled her tighter to him, away from the man on the floor.
""""""""""""""""""""
Ron tried to stop her, but Hermione pulled her arm from his grasp, and moved towards the man. He was still screaming as Hermione knelt carefully in front of him.
"Voldemort's alive!" he moaned loudly, "I saw him! With my own eyes!"
Gently, Hermione pulled the sun glasses from his face and her suspicions were confirmed. One green eye pointed to the left, rolled in his head and looked blindly around, the other seemed as if it was having a hard time focusing. The poor man was nearly blind.
As Hermione slid the glass back on, the man grabbed her wrists, whispering, "You believe me, don't you? I saw him! Plain as day! I did!"
Hermione pulled one of her arms free and pushed the grey hair out of his face, "I do believe you. Why don't you come with me and my friend, up to Hogwarts? You know Hogwarts, don't you?" The man nodded. "Right, you come up there with us, and we can get a plan together, alright?"
"Yes!" the man smiled suddenly, "We must tell Dumbledore!"
"Yes!" Hermione played along, smiling incase his better eye could see her, "Great idea! Come on, then."
She motioned for Ron to come over and help her get him to his feet. The two of them took the man out of the pub, followed by Lucius and Annie.
Hermione turned to the couple, "I'll come and talk to you later."
They scowled, but let her and Ron take the man up to the castle.
Once they were in Hermiones rooms, they set the man down on the sofa. Hermione sat down next to him and reached out for his hand.
"Listen," She said gently, "I'm going to get you cleaned up and then we can talk about what you saw -"
"And then we must tell Dumbledore!" The man insisted, trying to stand up on his weak legs.
Hermione pushed him back down, "Let me clean you first. What would Dumbledore think if he saw you like this?"
The man nodded and Hermione conjured a bowl of warm water and a cloth. She soaked the cloth and gently wiped it over the mans forehead.
He sighed, and leaned closer to her. Hermione smiled and put the cloth in the water again. She took his glasses off and careful dabbed around his eyes.
Ron moved further into the room, looking petrified, “Fuck -!"
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? !"
"Why didn't you tell me?" he asked, trying to master the impulse to move.
"How many people did you think I’d slept with?" She opened her eyes slowly.
