Epilogue

Epilogue:

Hermione slammed the door to her office, only feeling a little better at the sound it made. It had been five years since the end of the war. Five years that had been filled with college and awards. Five years of Severus's support when she finally convinced Binns that he was dead and took over his teaching. She had supported Severus through his trial. Even the idiots at the Ministry had to drop charges under the overwhelming evidence proving Severus was a spy for the Order.

Yet in all this time there was still one thing they couldn't agree on. Kids. Hermione wanted at least two children where Severus wanted none. It was becoming a constant argument between the two and was driving her insane.

There was a tapping at the window causing her to turn and glare. She stopped the glaring when she saw Merlin sitting there with a package. She strolled over and opened the window letting the small hawk in. She untied the package and gave him some treats she kept for when he delivered something. Unlike Severus, who was still holding a grudge, she had quickly become friends with the matchmaker.

She untied the package and a book fell out. On the cover was a Native American holding a woman in a passionate embrace. She spotted the letter and quickly read it.

'Dear Hermione,

I know about the fights you and Severus have been having.
Don't you know when dealing with a Slytherin you have to
use Slytherin tactics? This book is keyed not to let you out until
you’re pregnant. Didn't school just get out? You two need a
vacation. Have fun.

Sincerely, Ruby’

Hermione smiled evilly and opened the book and quickly read the first paragraph as the magic took over and swept her and Severus into the book.
