15 : Home Sweet Home
<>
After
arriving at the Manor, Harry and Remus decided to check out their
rooms. Harry was in the master suite and Remus was in the next
largest room which had been James’s bedroom.
<>
“ You
don’t mind being in my dad’s room do you? “ asked
Harry. “ Merlin knows there are plenty other rooms if you want
to switch.”

“ No
it is nice being in James’s room “ said Remus. “ I
don’t know if I need such a large room however. “
<>
“ You
deserve to be in the second largest room, this is your home too if
you want it to be” said Harry.
<>
“ Thanks, I will keep
it then “ said Remus with a smile.
<>
The
room was done in golds and reds. It had a large walk-in closet and
an impressive ensuite bathroom. There was a large tapestry on the
wall in one corner. When Remus went to look at it he realized there
was a door hidden behind it. He rang a bell beside the bed to summon
a house-elf.

“ Yes
Remus Lupin sir what can Twinkle do for you?”

“ Do
you know where that door leads to?”
<>
“ Yes
sirs that door opens to a passage way. It connects this room to the
master suite one way and leads to a secret passage way to the
basement and an escape route from the house.”

“ That’s
brilliant . Let’s check it out “ said Harry.
<>
“ The
passage way has not been used for a very long time. It is very dirty
and may not be safe sirs. We can clean it up Harry Potter sir so it
will be safe for you. “

“ That
would be great. Even though the house is heavily warded, an escape
route would be handy to have", ‘ not to mention a
secret route to Remus’s bedroom ‘, said Harry. “
Whenever you have a chance to fix it up will be fine, no need to
rush. “
<>
“ We
is going to do it soon Harry Potter sir . Do you need Twinkle for
anything else sirs? “
<>
“ No
that will be all “ said Remus. The house-elf disappeared with
a pop.
<>
“ Well
I’ll let you get settled “ said Harry. “ Want to
meet up downstairs in an hour or so? “
<>
“ Sure
sounds good. How about in an hours time in the diningroom , it will
be time for supper then. “

“ Ok
see you then “ said Harry. He left the room and processed down
the hallway to his room.
<>
Harry
room was beautiful. The walls were painted in a soft sage green. A
mahogany king sized bed dominated one side of the room. Its hangings
were a cream silk with a damask spread in cream, burgundy, forest
green and sage . Bed side tables and an armoire also in mahogany
completed the bedroom suite. A massive two way fireplace took up the
side wall between the walk-in closet and the door to the bathroom. Two
burgundy leather armchairs, a sofa and coffee table sat in front
of the fireplace. On the far wall was a large desk and several
bookcases. A tapestry covering the passage way door was in the
corner by the bed.

The
bathroom was also very impressive. The fireplace opened to the
bedroom and took up the entire wall by the door. The double vanity
was marble with gleaming brass fixtures and a beauitiful gilded
mirror hung above it. The tub made the one in the prefect’s
bathroom look like a wash basin, it was huge and the many taps
gleamed. The walk-in shower enclosure looked big enough for at least
three people and had four different shower heads at differnt heights
and angles.

“ This
suite is huge and that bed. A bloke could get lost in it. I guess
I need to hurry up and get Remus to join me in it “ Harry
smiled. “ Well I better get un-packing “.

Harry
and Remus ate their supper in the diningroom, planning what they
wanted to work on the next day.

“ We
should start testing your wandless magic tomorrow. Maybe you can go
through the spells you know and see what you can do wandless and
maybe test your new wand as well “ said Remus.

“ Sounds
like a good idea. Maybe in the morning we can work on that and after
lunch I can study my DADA and Charms work. “
<>
“ Great
plan. I’m going to contact Professor Flitwick about what is
needed to test out of Charms “ said Remus.
<>
“ Great
, thank you . “ Harry sighed and put down his fork. “
I’m stuffed. Want to go for a walk with me , help burn of some
of this food? “
<>
“ Sure
just let me finish these last few bites. “ Remus finished his
meal and got up from the table.
<>
They
walked around the grounds, exploring the gardens and then started
to walk around the lake. Harry ‘ accidently ‘ brushed
his hand across Remus’s a few times. They stopped and sat on a
dock. Harry started to shiver.

“ Are
you cold? “ Harry nodded. “ Maybe we should go back
inside “ Remus suggested.
<>
“ I
really like sitting here though. I’ve been cooped up inside
for so long , it’s nice to be outside “ said Harry.
<>
Remus
put his arms around Harry, pulling him close. “ Is that better? “

Harry
snuggled into Remus’s arms even further. “ Yes much
better “. They sat like that for a few minutes.

‘ Make
your move, kiss him’ thought Harry.
<>
‘ He’s
right there, turn him around and kiss him “ thought Remus.
<>
‘ All
you have to do is turn slightly and do it ‘.
<>
“ just
turn slightly and do it ‘.
<>
They
both shifted and looked into each other’s eyes.
<>
' He
wants you, do it ‘.
<>
‘ My
god, he wants me, just do it ‘.
<>
They
both leaned in, lips touching hesitantly. They pulled back looking
into each other’s eyes again and then dove back in. Lips
caressed, deepening the kiss. Remus licked at Harry lower lip
asking for enterance. Harry opened his mouth wider and Remus plunged
his tongue in Harry mouth, tasting and exploring every inch. Harry
returned the favor just as eagerly. Eventually breathing became an
issue and they broke apart panting heavily.

Remus
suddenly tensed. ‘ My god, what am I doing ', he
released Harry and started to stand up. “ I’m sorry
Harry, I shouldn’t have done that “. Remus fled back to
the house.

Harry
sat there gobsmacked for a moment then let out a frustrated yell. He
got up, stomping back to the house. ‘I’m going to
shake some sense into that stubborn werewolf if it’s the last
thing I do!’. He stormed into the house in search of
Remus.
