A furious Lucius Malfoy walked down the corridor, turning around to glare at his son every now and then, a silent reminder for Draco to follow. And Draco obeyed, his eyes shining in what can be remotely distinguished as fear.

Nearly ripping the door of his chambers open, Lucius sat down stiffly on the couch and waited for Draco to find his voice.

“He shouldn’t have lied to us,” Draco finally defended himself coarsely after a moment. “He sneaked into our house and made a fool out of all of us! He deserve…”

Normally when Draco got into a fight, Lucius would have dismissed him with a shake of his head. But something about Draco hurting Harry set a fire inside his veins and his anger could not stop spreading. He narrowed his eyes and released a shaky breath.

“If you have any brain in your head, Draco, you would have remembered that he was stuck in an animagus form, unable to warn anyone, let alone us, about who he was.” Lucius glared at Draco after the sentence, surprised by the tone of his own voice. After all, why should he suddenly start caring now? Draco and Potter had been fighting for the last several years, and none of those incidents had gotten into his nerve like this one. Don’t you remember him? Don’t you remember Midnight, the person you’ve been spending endless hours searching for? The voice in his head was mocking him. It was then that he realized he craved Harry Potter more than anything he has ever desired.

Lucius shuddered and shook the thought off. It was a dangerous place to go yet, thinking about the emerald eyed young man. It is a silly infatuation – one that has little hope of coming true and he would be a fool to pursue it.

Harry groaned slightly and laid his head on the stone wall. Everything felt broken in his body…his arm felt like it was snapped in half. He was numb, really. As if his whole body was asleep and occasionally, he could feel the tingling sensation of blood running down his arm.

It wasn’t a total strange situation to him. After all, he had been living with the Dursleys all his childhood and he had to go through the war – if anything, he was familiar with this bloody situation. What he hated, though, was the fact that Lucius Malfoy had rescued him, and the fact that he will be likely to come back. The fact that he was in an open hallway, broken and bleeding for all to see didn’t help at all. The wounds Draco caused were severe enough to keep him there for several hours. Funny, he never thought Draco was strong enough to actually cause him damage. Guess he was wrong.

Suddenly, he recognized footsteps approaching slowly. He grunted and took a deep breath, and moved al his strength to his arms, trying to push himself from the floor. The sharp pain cut through his veins and he cried out softly, collapsing on his back.

The footsteps stopped and harry panted quietly against the stone floor. The last thing he wanted to for Lucius Malfoy to find him bleeding and weak in some deserted hallway.

“Potter?” An authoritive voice boomed through the corridor and Harry recognized it in an instant. It seems like it was right about one thing – Lucius Malfoy had come back. He didn’t respond – maybe if he was quiet, the blond man would get the hint and leave him alone.

There was a silence for awhile, and Harry thought Lucius had gone. He released the breath he has been holding and slumped against the stone, only to be surprised by the second calling.

“Potter?” The voice was more hesitant now. It paused for a few seconds and then called out quietly again. “Harry?”

Harry took a sharp breath at the sound of his own name coming from the blond man’s lips. It sounded strangely inviting. He squinted his eyes, trying to see more clearly in front of him. A blurry shape was approaching now, and Harry felt his stomach drop. He was found.

“Oh my God.” Lucius gasped as he took in the site in front of him. It was certainly a lot worse then the last time he’d seen Harry. He was half covered in blood and his arm looked broken, laying limply on the stone floor. He was squinting his green eyes, covered in a thin mist of confusion. “What did he do?” Lucius whispered, quickly moving to Harry’s side.

“Potter?” Lucius kneeled and placed his hand on Harry’s forehead, leaning close enough to let Harry recognize him.

Harry groaned as Lucius’ cool hand touched his forehead. It was like a light among the mist and he leaned closer, groaning again as that hand moved to make more contact.

“Potter?” Lucius asked again, his breath now speeding into small pants. He moved his hand away from Harry’s forehead, receiving a groan of disappointment, and cupped Harry’s face, bringing it closer to his. “Are you alright?”

This time Lucius felt incredibly stupid. Of course he was not alright. He could barely talk and Lucius was sure he had at least two broken bones.

The only response he got was a slight whimper. Lucius sighed and kneeled closer, snaking his arms around Harry’s back. He lifted Harry into a sitting position, placing his other arm beneath Harry’s knees.

“Can you move your arm?” he asked hesitantly, relieved when harry nodded and slowly wrapped his broken arms around his neck. Slowly, Lucius stood, lifting the lithe body up, surprised at how light the boy felt.

I’d have to make sure he eats more. Lucius thought silently as he carried the body into the hospital wing.

“My goodness! What happened?” Madam Pomfrey shrieked as soon as they showed up at the door. “Hurry now, carry him here. Put him on that bed.” She pointed to a bed by the windows. Lucius grunted as he obeyed, placing Harry carefully down on the bed.

“I found him in the hallway,” Lucius replied sourly. “He seems like he has gotten into a fight.” With my son, he continued in his head, and scowled darkly. “Is he alright?” Lucius asked and grimaced at the jolt of jealousy as the nurse ran her hands under Harry’s shirt to check his ribs.

“Yes, he’s fine.” Madam Pomfrey replied grimly, withdrawing her hand from Harry’s chest. “He will need to stay here overnight, while I mend his bones. He’ll be free to go tomorrow.”

Lucius released a breath that he didn’t realize he was holding and nodded to the nurse. Giving Harry one last glace, he left the hospital wing in a swish of robes.

The acidic smell of the hospital wing was what woke Harry up. His eyes felt heavy and swollen, and his limbs frozen. He groaned as the sharp light broke through the barrier of his eyelids, making the world gray inside his head. The air around him was strangely dense and familiar. He frowned, trying to recall where he was without opening his eyes.

“Mr. Potter? Are you awake?”

The sharp feminine voice traveled into his head and yesterday’s events came rushing back to him.

“Madam Pomfrey?” he croaked, cracking open his eyes and winced as the bright light shot into his eyes.

“Welcome back, Potter.” Pomfrey pursed her lips in distaste and moved a tray of potions onto the bed table. Harry watched warily as she picked out an orange bottle and pulled the cork open. “Drink.” She stated shortly. The bottle was held to his lips.

Harry grimaced but drank it in one gulp, his forehead wrinkling at the foul taste of the potion.

“Good.” The nurse put down the empty bottle. “How are you feeling, Mr. Potter? Dizzy? Sore?”

Harry shook his head. “Just tired.”

Pomfrey seemed to be satisfied in that answer and stood up from his bed. “Very well, you may go back to your room if you like, Potter.”

Harry let out a sigh of relief. The last thing he wanted was to spend the whole day in the hospital wing, tied to a bed and watched by Madam Pomfrey.

The nurse gave him one last stern look before leaving the room, giving Harry privacy to change. Harry sighed and climbed out of bed, swaying slightly as a wave a headache and dizziness hit him. Harry supposed it was a side effect of whatever potion he had just been force fed to, and got ready for the day.

Lucius stabbed his sausage viciously as he fidgeted slightly. Of course, one couldn’t tell unless they have known the blond man for a long time. To them, it looked like Lucius was shifting his weight from one side to the other every once in awhile. Lucius felt his head was made of a huge knot of tangled string, twisted and constantly annoying him with its inability to sort itself out. He had been feeling like this for some time now, and last night’s events only added to the mess. Growling softly, he went back to his food with his eyes fixed on the emerald eyed Gryffindor.

Draco walked to Severus’ room quietly, knocking hesitantly on the door.

“Come in.” the sound was muffled and Draco smirked, opening the door quietly.

“There you are,” Draco walked to the bedroom, where Severus was sitting at his private desk, grading some essays. “Almost done?”

Severus shot him a dark scowl that made his point more than clear. He wasn’t even close to being done and Draco was in middle of his work.

Draco let the scowl slip by and grinned, making his way to the table. “You need to stop grading papers and relax,” he purred, gliding his arms around Severus’ neck.

Severus grunted. “Draco, if I don’t get this done by tomorrow…”

“Nothing will happen.” Draco finished, drawing circles on Severus’ neck with his thumb. “I don’t remember anything particular happen when you gave back our papers three months late.”

Severus looked reluctant. “It’s going to pile up fast, Draco.”

Draco was already slipping his hands in front of Severus shirt, unbuttoning it slowly. “Father can help you, if you asked.”

Severus groaned as Draco’s hands slipped under his shirt and scraped against his nipple. “Draco…” He hissed, feeling his pants starting to tighten.

Draco hummed in response and attached his lips onto Severus’ neck, sucking slightly at the sensitive skin.

Severus slipped out one more growl and gave into the delicious heat of the body behind him, grabbing the back of Draco’s hair and crushing his lips to Draco’s in a through kiss.

Draco whimpered as Severus brought their bodies flushed together. His hands slipped on Severus’ shoulder and pulled the open shirt down his arms, leaving the older man shirtless.

“Oh…” Draco moaned as Severus grinded their hard cocks together, his hand roaming Draco’s back and twisting the nipples that are now hard and filled with blood.

Draco panted, throwing his head back to expose his neck, which was immediately attacked by Severus’ lips. He fumbled around Severus’ belt for awhile, playing with the buckle and finally managing to lower the zipper, releasing the restraint placed his lover’s cock. He pulled Severus’ pants down, moaning at the thick cock in front of him, hard as a rock, the head moist with pre-come.

Draco gave Severus a seductive smirk before dropping to his knees, licking a path from his navel to the dark trail around his arousal. Severus groaned, gripping his hands in Draco’s long hair. Draco leaned forward and closed the distance between his lips and the hard cock before him, stopping when his lips barely touched the glistening tip. He raised his head and looked into the dark eyes above him to make sure that Severus was watching before wrapping his lips around the head and sucking lightly.

Severus inhaled sharply, burying his hand in Draco’s blond hair to get better control of the mouth on his member.

Draco groaned slightly around the hard member in his mouth and bobbed his head, letting his lips slide over the heated skin. A couple of hard sucks and he felt Severus body stiffen. He let out a whine as he was pulled away from the member in front of him.

“I think we need to take this elsewhere.” Severus groaned silkily, pushing his lover towards his rooms in time to hear Draco’s excited giggle.

*

“I didn’t exactly come for this,” Draco panted and squirmed on the bed until he was curled comfortably.

“I’m not complaining.” Severus smirked.

Draco rolled his eyes and slapped Severus lightly. “It’s quite important.”

Severus settled himself further into the blankets. “Go on.”

“Have you noticed anything odd about my father?” Draco questioned, turning his face to look at his lover.

“I hear he’s quite irritated because you took a rather violent beating at Potter.” Severus raised his eyebrow.

“He’s not irritated,” Draco shook his head sharply. “He’s furious. I thought it was strange that he cared.”

Severus scowled in annoyance.

“You,” He bit out. “Are far too spoiled.”

Draco chuckled lightly. “This isn’t about y discipline. Usually he wouldn’t have cared less if I took out on Potter. Or anyone else, for that matter.”

Severus scoffed. “And you think it is unjust for him to start now?”

“No! That’s not what I meant. It’s all to strange – Potter pretending to be our pet, and now father punishes me for beating him up like I’ve always done.”

It took a moment before Severus realized what Draco was implying. “Impossible.” Severus snarled. “It’s ridiculous, Draco.”

“Have you seen the way he’s been looking at Potter?” Draco spat, poking Severus in the chest. “It’s sickening. I’ve never seen him act like that ever before. Not even to mother…but then, she was a bitch.”

“Don’t talk about your mother that way.” Severus reminded.

“If you lived with her for fifteen years, you wouldn’t have any objections to my comment.” Draco replied fiercely. “You know very well how she is.”

Severus’ scowl deepened, creating an etching line across his forehead. “Lucius Malfoy and Harry Potter,” he commented, shaking his head in disbelief. “You seriously expect me to believe in that kind of blind assumption?”

“Blind?” Severus caught the hand that was on its way to his chest, glaring at the blond that was having quite a rant beside him. “You have clearly not witnessed the state my father was in. I would expect his best friend to better notice his faults. He is head over heels in love with Potter and he knows it. That’s not something I imagined to toy myself with.”

“Don’t be ridiculous, Draco,” Severus scolded after a moment of daze. “Go back to sleep.”

“But!” Draco chirped in frustration. “You must have seen some sign of unusualness from my father!”

Severus promptly ignored his lover and his accusation, until Draco thought it was another day’s business to convince Severus of his father’s affection.

Despite her separation from her husband, Narcissa Malfoy was nothing less than a Malfoy. The unfairness of the dark lord’s defeat (as she was one of his fondest supporters) has turned her bitter. Of course she knew that it was not her bitterness that turned her darling husband away, for she only married him for the name and the money.

Oh yes. Those two things were the most important in succeeding, which, in her eyes, meant the total control of the wizarding world. She had always hoped in joining the dark lord would achieve her goal, as she felt moderately content to be the power’s consort, if she had the chance. She might as well have done exactly that if not for Lucius’ traitorous actions.

A traitor was not to be forgiven, she decided, and she was going to do everything necessary to ensure Lucius Malfoy’s misery, now that she has convinced the ex-death eaters of her past position, as the past dark lord’s consort-to-be, and has most of her loyal death eaters by her side.

It was then when she realized revenge was the sweetest treasure of all.
