Chapter 15

Chapter 15

Remus and Sirius waited until they saw Severus getting up from his chair before they approached him. “Severus, we were wondering if we could speak to you,” Sirius asked.

“What, no snarky comments?” he snarled back.

Remus smiled at him. “We’ll leave the snarky comments to you,” he said as he stepped closer to the Potions Master.

“I will give you five minutes,” he retorted. “Beginning now.”

“Severus, we might want to take this conversation somewhere more private,” Sirius said. He leaned over and whispered in Severus’ ear, “Much more private.”

“Black,” Severus growled quietly. “I am not in the mood for games.”

Remus leaned against the taller man. “The only games we’ll be playing are the ones where you’re a willing participant,” he sighed. He ran his tongue across Severus’ throat just above his high collar.

Severus cleared his throat. “That could be acceptable, with a few conditions.”

Remus and Sirius smiled at each other and each took one of Severus’ hands. “Unless you would like an audience, might I suggest our rooms. We took down all of the portraits so that there would be no peeping Toms, or James’,” Sirius purred.

Severus let a small chuckle escape. “Yes, Lily told me about him watching the two of you,” he said. “He cornered me later that day and offered to have Harry cast a mirror spell on the room so that I could watch.”

The two led Severus to their rooms.

Fred and George rushed into the sitting room, Molly, Ginny and Hermione had gone upstairs. Molly had promised the girls that she would teach them some spells for their hair. The twins threw themselves down in front of Harry, Ron, Dudley, and Draco, who was rocking Serena. “Gentlemen, you will not believe what we just overheard,” George said.

Dudley, who had been yawning, looked at the two. “What?”

Fred leaned forward. “We just overheard the newlyweds talking to Snape.”

Harry laughed. “I don’t have to wonder what that is about,” he said. He watched his boyfriend with Serena, amazed at the love the blonde showed the small girl.

The twins looked at the messy haired teen. “What’s it about then?”

Harry sighed. “Sirius and Remus have always been attracted to Severus, since they were in school.”

“Bloody Hell, Harry. I didn’t need to know that,” Ron said.

Draco laughed. “Well, Ron. I’ll just have to add to your discomfort. When I was in third year, I slipped Severus some Veritaserum. He admitted that he wanted both of them.”

Harry and Draco were the last to go up to bed. As they stood next to Serena’s cot, Draco leaned over and whispered to Harry. “I haven’t had very much time alone with you today. Do you think that we could stay here for awhile and talk?”

Harry wrapped his arms around the Slytherin. “I think that we should forget about talking till tomorrow, and just spend some time snogging.”

Draco pulled Harry across the room and sat down on the bed. “We made a promise to Severus, so this doesn’t get that far.”

Harry nodded. “I know. I just want to kiss you, and touch you. We can wait for everything else.” He leaned over and captured the blonde’s lips. Draco groaned and opened his mouth, sliding his tongue across Harry’s lips. He slid his hand up and grabbed a handful of messy hair, sliding the silky strands through his fingers.

Harry mapped out the inside of Draco’s mouth, moaning when their tongues wrapped around each other, battling for dominance. He pulled back and looked into the silvery eyes of his love. “You are beautiful,” he whispered.

Draco sniffed, crystalline droplets welling up in his eyes. “You were the first person to not follow me because of my father. You’ve brought something into my life that I never had, acceptance for who I am, not who my family is. I don’t deserve you.”

Harry wiped the tears from Draco’s cheeks. “You never accepted me for who they assumed me to be. You give me something that I never experienced, love. Not the kind that I get from the Weasleys, but the kind that my parents and Sirius and Remus share. You showed me that there can be more to me than what the wizarding world expected.” They lay together on Harry’s bed, wrapped in each other’s arms.

When Molly opened the door to wake Harry the next morning, she smiled at the picture they made.

Dudley sat in his bedroom, thinking of all the things that he had seen. Had it been just this afternoon that he had been rescued from his home? Had it only been a few hours since he found out that he was able to do magic?

He had watched Harry and Draco with Serena. With all that he was going to have to do, with learning all of the things that Hogwarts taught, he knew that leaving Serena with Harry was the only choice. He had six years to catch up with, and he wanted to do his best. Mrs. Weasley had told him that one of her sons would take him to Diagon Alley the next day to get a wand. He wondered how that worked. Did you just go into the store and pick one out? Were there more things that were going to be as interesting as Quidditch seemed to be?

Professor Snape had told him that he would begin learning the day after he got his wand, and that he would have classes every day until the beginning of term. He just hoped that he was able to learn what he needed to. All of the adults were going to be teaching him, Bill was going to teach him charms, Charlie was teaching magical creatures, and Harry, Ron, and Hermione were going to teach him Defense against the Dark Arts. Professor Snape had told him that he was the Potions Master at Hogwarts so he would be learning potions from him.

What he was looking forward to most was Transfiguration. Sirius had told him that it was changing something into something else, he had to learn that. One day, he would visit his parents and turn them into something unpleasant.
