*because 13 was so short, I decided to go ahead and put 15 up with 14...here ya go!
Everything was blurry. The room. My memories. I recognized the weight of Harry as he laid gently on my chest. Weakly I lifted my hand and ran my through his hair. He gasped, sitting up. “Draco! You’re awake.” His voice was hoarse from sleep.
“Wh-where am I?”
Taking my hand he kiss my fingers, squeezing them at the same time. He laid gentle kisses along my arm. Over my neck. My lips. Cheek. Forehead. Fast frantic kisses. I didn’t have the energy to push him away. “Harry! Please, what’s going on?”
Stopping, he sat up, his eyes blazing, “you’ve been in St. Mungo’s almost a month Draco. I got you out of Azkaban,” he was talking fast, hardly taking breaths, “I couldn’t get you to wake up. You hated me again.”
“Hated you?” The memories of going to Azkaban were slowly surfacing, as were Harry’s injuries, Hermione, Fred’s kiss.
“I fell asleep and found you. You hated me. I thought I had lost you.”
“That easily Potter,” I smirked, “you’re stuck with me.”
The door flew open, Hermione and Ron practically ran in. I sat up, nearly knocking Harry away when Hermione hugged me. It was a very unfamiliar feeling. I hugged back hesitantly. “I was so worried Draco! When we pulled you out of Azkaban I wanted to beat Fred over his head with a club.” She pulled away and I noticed a few tears in her eyes.
“You’re crying?”
“You do that when you’re relieved.” She teased, moving back to Ron.
“I think I owe you an apology Draco,” Ron said, stepping forward. “I never should have accused you of hurting Harry.”
“It’s okay. You were just acting on emotions.” I said, completely sitting up.
Looking over at Harry, Hermione tugged on Ron’s arm, “well you need your rest. Ron and I will be going now.”
They left the room and I looked over at Harry who was staring intently at me. I tried a weak smile. “You saved me.” He whispered softly.
“I think it might be the other way around love. What happened that night?”
Taking my hand, he swallowed. “I ran off looking for you. I had to tell you what happened. I ran back towards Hogwarts, and I ran into Dudley…or who I thought was Dudley.”
“You ‘think’ it was Dudley? Your muggle cousin?”
“It couldn’t have been him because I was still in Hogsmeade, and it’s an all wizarding town. How would Dudley have shown up there?” He took a deep breath. “Someotryitrying to look like Dudley, not trying, succeeding, beat me up.”
“Who could it have been Harry? With Voldemort gone, I can’t imagine why anyone would want you hurt.”
“I don’t know, it doesn’t matter now. You’re okay and I’m okay. We can get you out of here, get you a job at Hogwarts with me, and we’ll be together.”
“You always were a bit of an optimist weren’t you Harry?”
He pulled me into a tight hug. I held him to as if he were the only thing keeping me alive. He was the only thing keeping me alive. I took a deep breath, taking in the soft smell of him. “Lock the door Potter.”
Grabbing his wand from the table, he locked the door. He climbed into the small bed with me. I laid my head against his chest, listening to his heart beat. A yawn escaped my mouth, but I didn’t feel like sleeping. I didn’t want to spend one minute away from him, even if it was only while I was asleep.
We were given more than just a second chance at love.
We were given a second chance at life.
*is that fluffy enough for you people? I\'m afraid that this story might soon actually end...but I\'ve started on another story, and I\'m not quite sure how well I can write 2 stories at once...I\'ll let the reviews decide...no reviews...no more story
