Stefan knew that the current life he was living was a fake and he would soon need to move on, but he found that he couldn't regret it. Especially not when he was curled up on the bed listening to the blood coursing through his lovers lithe body as he tried to regain his breath.

Rolling onto his side, Stefan propped his head up on his hand and looked down at his black haired lover.

“Harry I've got something to speak with you about and I need you to know that I'm being entirely serious.” Stefan said softly.

As Harry opened his own emerald green eyes, Stefan felt his nerve leaving him.

“What's wrong?” Harry asked, reaching up to stroke the cold cheek of Stefan's face.

“I've been keeping something from you. I...” He started to say, before Harry covered his lips with a finger and smiled at him.

“Don't. I already know. Cold, rock hard skin is easy to decipher when you know when it means.”

“But...”

“No. I know and that's all that matters. Besides, I don't want you to tell me if you're still planning on leaving.”

“How did you know?” He asked, with slumped shoulders.

“You shouldn't give the airport the house phone number when they call to verify your flight.” Harry said, with a slight shrug.

“I...I don't want to leave, but I have to.”

“No you don't. I don't want you to leave because I care about you and want you, but if you want to leave I won't stop you...even though I know it will hurt to do so.”

“You won't change your mind and kick me out once the bliss leaves will you?” Stefan asked.

“No I won't. Although I still think you should keep that ticket. Just add another one because we should move on from here because I want a relationship with the real you and here everyone knows you as Stephan James instead of...well the real you.”

“Stefan Salvatore is my real name and I was planning to go to Mystic Falls. If you want to come with I can introduce you to my real past and history as well.”

Smiling, Harry pulled him down and into a kiss. Once they pulled away, Harry said, “I'd love that. When do we leave?”

“Well I've got to get a ticket for you and we need to get you packed, but I think we can leave within the next two days. You're sure you want to do this? You won't change your mind half way there right?”

“I'm sure.” Harry said with a nod.

“Good because I won't be able to let you leave once we get on that plane.”

“I wouldn't want to. Now get back down here and lets celebrate.”

With a growl, Stefan leaned down and slammed their lips together. While he had enjoyed his fake life, he was going to enjoy his real one with Harry even more.
