Another wonderful start to someone's week, hopefully. :D
SUNDAY MORNING -- chapter 14
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The week passed by without much excitement. Everyone got used to the way dysfunctional four looked. It would be a while before anything exciting happened.
Sunday was just as uneventful, but our dungeon duo had a not so pleasant day.
Hermione woke up to a owl at her window earlier than anything usually arrived. She had been dreaming; Severus being the object of her desire. She had been seduce by him, getting her into his bed, which was charmed to increase the pleasures of the one on their back. She was just getting to her first orgasm, so she felt deprived when she had to get out of bed. Her dream Severus had one hell of a tongue, and the things he could do with that tongue!
When she let the owl into her room it immediately went toward her desk, which had yesterday’s unfinished snack on it. Hermione took the note from the tawny owl and started to read it:
*
Hermione,
I need you to come and see me before breakfast so we can talk about a few things. I hope I didn’t deprive you of too much sleep, but it’s urgent.
Meet me at the Witch, for privacy.
Harry.
*
Hermione scrunched her nose and sighed. ‘Oh, course, play the safe side, Harry and apologize early.’
She got dressed and was walking toward the stairs when Severus came out of his rooms. He called out her name twice before she stopped and walked back to him.
“Where are you going? We need to talk about the way we’re going to proceed this week. The potion is waiting in my living room.” Severus beckoned her to walk in through the doorway.
“Merlin, why all of a sudden do men wanna talk? I can’t talk right now. I have to go meet Harry, because he wants to talk also. He says its urgent. I’ll come by and get it after breakfast. Is that okay?” Hermione stayed by the stair case and waited for Severus to reply.
“I want you here at 9 o’clock. Sharp. No excuses, boyfriends or not.” Severus rudely commented.
Hermione huffed at his back when he turn and entered his rooms by himself. She climbed the stairs and went without further interruptions to Harry’s meeting place.
When she got there Harry was already waiting. “About time, I thought you would have been here long ago. I sent that owl 20 minutes ago!” Harry went to kiss her cheek.
“You should know how I like my sleep on the weekend. What did you need to talk about that was so urgent?” Hermione returned a kiss on his cheek, waiting for his answer.
“Umm, see, I want you to meet someone tonight. A blind date of sorts.” Hermione went to interrupt him, but Harry held his hand up, “No, I think you might actually like this guy. He’s tall and so smart, Hermione. You could get along so well.”
Hermione just looked at Harry like he was crazy. “Harry the potion isn’t going to last all night. It will only work until around nine. So how are we going to explain if I turn into Snape? I won’t do it,” she turned her back to him and went to walk away when her curiosity got her.
“What time was the “date,”” she quoted.
“Well, we were going to see if you would go first. So right now there is no time set up. If you go I can probably get you out by 5. If you go to Hogsmeade with everyone, you won’t even need to sneak out. You can come back whenever after that.” Harry sensed something change about her.
“I wasn’t actually planning to go, but I do have permission to go. I’ll go, put Tuesday we’re actually going to play truth or dare, before we give our actual dares, okay? We need something to brighten up our lives. And Snape’s dungeon.” Hermione smiled and paused before telling Harry, “If this goes wrong Harry, I’m going to never talk to you.”
“I promise it will only be awkward, but of course. If it goes wrong, I’ll plead for your forgiveness, because then you’ll have to talk to me, even if it’s to say ‘go away’.” Harry laughed at Hermione’s sour face.
“Hopefully, you won’t have to do that. Are you going to be around? Also where will this date be had at?”
“I and Draco will be at the same place and we’ll be at the Three Broomsticks. You and your blind date won’t know we’re there though. We are going to be observing, so technically hiding somewhere.”
“Fine, if I don’t like who I see at the table I’m going to hide until they’re gone. Now, shall we go to breakfast? I’m starving!” Hermione grabbed Harry’s hand and they walked through the halls to breakfast talking about how Ron could be a problem because Harry told him that Hermione and him were over. She just assured him she would be all right.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Severus left Hermione in the hall and went to get everything ready for after breakfast. He set the polyjuice out to make sure he wouldn’t totally forget them and had an elf get his breakfast for him, so he could work on his potions.
Not very long after Severus sat down to eat, did he hear someone knocking on his office door. He got up and thinking it was Hermione, opened it and started: “Well, a little late, aren’t you?” He didn’t realize he had said that to Draco, until he had the door fully open.
“I didn’t know you greet your willing guests that way, Professor. I think you should know...” Draco was cut off before he could finish.
“Draco, what are you doing here and not at breakfast? I was expecting someone quite different, quite more girlie then you.” Severus said, offensively.
“Professor, someone I met would like to meet you tonight. She’s really into potions and, I think, smarter than you. I told her I would ask about you meeting her at the Three Broomsticks later tonight.” Draco nonchalantly explained to Severus, trying to get his attention with making him competition.
“I see, and if I may ask Draco, why would she be interested in me? And is she any relation to you or your father?” Snape got serious, someone smarter and someone that speaks potion? A fine wonder indeed. And in a woman! Quite a find.
“She’s from the light, don’t worry. She’s from around here and she doesn’t personally know my father or any relations. She’s a good friend of mine and helps me sometimes, that’s how she’s interested in you.”
Severus tried to not seem so eager, “I guess I’ll meet her tonight. Does she have a time or am I to set it? The damn potion could probably wear off.”
Draco trying not to laugh, said, “She’ll be there around 5, because she has to get home before 9. Don’t worry, you’ll be quite the charmer, professor, though I think you should wear a good robe, you’re looking a little like Lupin, shaggy.” Draco walked off, leaving Severus to contemplate his attire.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While at breakfast, Ron tried, unsuccessfully, to get Hermione closer to him.
“Ron, what, no, why are you so close? I believe I’ve told you twice that I don’t want to date you, and now is not the greatest time to be doing this. Now, stay off me!” Hermione pleaded with him again.
Ron was hopelessly trying to get his love across to her. He wanted her to know so badly. “Hermione, you can’t know my love for you. It’s the only way to show you, to get you close to me.” Ron grabbed her hand and kissed her knuckles.
“Ron, I can’t let you make a fool of yourself." Hermione got an idea, "I’m going to show you something okay? But I wanna show you later. We’ll come back from Hogsmeade and come to my rooms in the dungeons okay?” Hermione said trying desperately to get Ron off at last.
“Fine, I’ll meet you there about 10 o’clock, outside then.” Ron felt he was going to get something special and suddenly felt calm, so he collected his belongings and left everyone, saying he would meet them at Honey Duke’s.
“Hermione, what are you going to do? I hope you aren’t going to totally destroy him,” Harry asked, worried for Ron.
“Oh, nothing his brothers can't help me with. We ARE stopping at their store. They can help him get better, when he goes to them, if he goes to them. I can get into trouble, but maybe just maybe Madam Pomfrey can be in on this. She likes me and I am sort of helping her out.” Hermione explained to Harry, getting up from the table. “I have to go. I’ll meet you in 20 minutes in the entrance hall.”
Hermione walked out the Hall and went toward the dungeons. She walked into Madam Pomfrey, by luck, who was picking up her weekly medical potions from Snape. Not being one to waste opportunities, “Madam Pomfrey, can I get you to help me on something? I don’t want to hurt Ron, but I would like to teach him a lesson. If I can get all the precautions set up, would you help me?”
“Um, Miss Granger, you sound as if you may mortally hurt him. How am I to help if I don’t know exactly what you are planning?” Madam Pomfrey, was already willing to help, knowing the situation between Hermione and Ron.
“Well, as you know, he can’t seem to get that I don’t want to date him and I want to use a candy from the Weasley twins to teach him something. If I get the anecdote for the candy, would you help me? Would you mind?” Hermione felt uneasy saying the words and her plan out loud, putting it into action.
Not wanting to miss a good opportunity herself, “Miss Granger, if you get me the anecdote for a few of those woe begotten tricks, I would be glad to help you, he just better not come up to me, missing some limb or organ. And Miss Granger, you may call me Poppy. I want to thank you too, for giving Severus help with the potions and salves I need.”
Hermione smiled at Poppy, “You’re welcome, but this week he did the making. And Poppy, call me Hermione, it’s only fair. Now I’ve got to run and meet Professor Snape. Thank you for trusting me.” Hermione had to run to make it to Severus’s rooms on time.
She got to his door a moment before he opened it, so she was bent over, catching her breath. He looked at her and wanted to laugh, “So, at least you’re kind of punctual, did you meet Poppy on the way here?”
Hermione didn’t immediately answer him. She took a few breathes, “Yes, Poppy and I met upstairs, She’s going to help me with something. What did you need to talk about?” Hermione leaned against the wall.
Severus allowed her entrance into his living room and waited for her to sit down,“I wanted to talk about our lab schedule. When we are working together and when we are not, so we can figure this out. I think tests can go on after the next few days. Also, I wanted to say I don’t want to hear anything more coming from your rooms. Because for some reason I can hear what ever goes on in there.”
“I think you must be hearing things. No one and nothing was in my rooms at any time in the past week. I think you’re crazy.”
“Don’t call me crazy. I know I heard something coming from your rooms and if it wasn’t you then who might it have been?” Severus was getting a bit perturbed.
“Should’ve been no one. I’ve set plenty of wards to go off if someone was in my rooms. So, if someone was in my rooms without me being present then I would have noticed.” Hermione went out the door and to hers. “Watch, nothing will be touched and no one will be in there.”
When she opened the door she found a total disaster. Her whole place was wrecked, everything over turned and things broken everywhere. She turned around and glared at Severus. “Well, thanks. You can hear things but not see what could’ve been going on. Some person you are, Severus Snape. You and I are going to have to fix this later, no buts either. If you don’t help me fix this, I’m staying in your rooms, because you let this go on!” Hermione was almost screaming at him as she slammed the door shut and walked back to Snape’s room.
“Then we need to figure out the shedule now for labs.” Severus gestured to the paper on the table and was about to pick it up when Hermione snatched it off the table, knocking over the two vials.
“NO!” Severus tried to hurry and catch them put it was too late, they crashed to the floor and flooded everywhere. “Hermione Granger, now you will clean THIS up. We are now going to spend the next month being each other. Hope you’re happy.” Severus snarled at her, mad that he would have to suffer along with everyone else.
Hermione got her wand out and flicked it over the potions and it disappeared immediately. “Now I have to go meet Harry, we have to meet someone at Hogsmeade. Have a nice rest of the day as yourself, Professor.” she smugly walked out the door, leaving him sitting in the chair by his table.
Oh! Oh! Man! That sucks. Let's see how things go... Don't forget to tell me what ya'll think! Please and thanks!
