Blinding Discoveries

Harry started to unpack his things, arranging and then rearranging pictures and other things he had brought. Finally when he was done he sat on the bed with a groan and looked at the door that was separating him and Draco. Would they actually start a relationship? Or did Draco just want a quick fuck…Harry couldn’t do quick fucks, he liked Draco….loved Draco….Harry got up and walked nervously toward the door, they had to talk.

He knocked on the door and it opened almost instantly and Harry smiled at Draco. “We need to talk.” Harry muttered and Draco motioned for him to come in.

Harry sat down on the bed and Draco sat down beside him, “What do you want to talk about Harry?”

Harry sat there for a minute or two and chewed on his lip, “What do you want to happen between us?” Harry asked and looked at him, hoping that his face wasn’t as red as it felt. Draco smiled at him though and closed the small gap that was between them. Harry let his eyes flutter closed when their lips met, and he wanted the kiss to go on forever, but Draco pulled back after a few seconds.

“I would like…to start something serious with you…but…can I have a few days to think about it?” Harry nodded understandingly and he leaned forward, making contact again. Draco moaned a little and Harry plunged his tongue into the welcoming mouth. Their tongues started to battle for dominance, and the kissed turned passionate.

Harry broke the kiss and took a deep breath, “Just let me know when you decide ok?” Draco nodded and they sat there on the bed, looking at each other for a while. Finally Draco stood up and smiled at him, “Come on, I will give you a tour of the house now that we are settled.”

Harry stood up enthusiastically, he wanted to explore every inch of Malfoy Manor. Harry followed Draco for what seemed like hours, they walked down halls, up stairs, walked into bedrooms, bathrooms, study rooms, the room that Lucius was in, and even a music room. Finally Draco walked up another flight of stairs and opened a double door that led into the biggest, most beautiful looking library ever. There was a huge fire place on the right wall, surrounded by 5 cushy arm chairs and a beautiful wood and glass coffee table in the middle of them. The carpet was a dark black and the walls were a medium green, the bookcase was gold and went up to the ceiling and Harry didn’t know how you would reach the books at the top.

He looked over at Draco who was smiling at him, “This is amazing, I mean, your house is huge, and we haven’t even been outside yet…this….it’s….it’s brilliant!”

Draco laughed and there was a light dinging noise in the background. “That means dinner is served, come on Harry, we shouldn’t be late.”

Harry laughed and followed Draco back down 3 flights of stairs and through 2 different hallways. Finally Draco walked through another set of huge double doors and into a huge dinning room that had a huge black wooden table with the most comfortable looking chairs seated around it, a huge chandelier hanging in the middle, lighting the entire room. Harry sat down next to Draco and put his hands awkwardly in his lap, Lucius and Severus were already seated, and Harry was sitting right across from Severus, who was giving him a rather amused look.

“So, how is your day going so far boys?” Lucius asked and Draco started to tell his father about the detailed tour that they took. Harry looked at Severus and smiled at him, Severus gave him one of his own small smiles back, and finally dinner was served, which was a huge turkey, along with tons of other side servings.

Conversation was short while they were eating and when they were all done, no one spoke for at least 10 minutes, letting the food digest. Finally Lucius spoke, but not after giving a quick glace at Severus. “Me and Severus have an announcement to make…” Lucius looked at Harry and Draco before continuing, “As you know Draco, your mother and I were only together because of…an arrangement made by our parents, and then after we had you, we made a vow to stay together to give you shelter and make sure that you had the love of both parents. As you well know, she didn’t hold up her part of the vow, saying that you were old enough to understand why she left. Well…now that I have nothing left in my way, I have started a relationship with someone else, a relationship that I have been wanting to start for the better part of 19 years.” Lucius waited for the information to sink into Draco, not all that concerned about how Harry would take it.

“Severus and I, have started a relationship…a very serious relationship, and he is considering moving into the manor.” With that said, Lucius took Severus’ hand in his own and glanced back to Severus who was looking worriedly at both of the boys. Draco however smiled, “That’s great! I have been wondering how long it would take for you guys to get together, I mean, it was obvious that you liked each other and all.”

Lucius looked truly happy that Draco accepted the relationship and then he let his eyes travel to Harry, who, most surprisingly, had a look of uncertainty on his face. “Are you ok Harry?” Severus asked and Lucius’ heart started to beat faster, knowing that if Harry objected, Severus wouldn’t pursue. Harry looked at them both and then blushed, “No, it’s just, I don’t know, I mean, it should’ve been obvious, and now that I think about, it was pretty obvious. But I mean, I guess I’m still surprised.” Harry stopped talking and blushed again when he realized that he had been rambling.

“Are you ok with it though Harry?” Harry looked back up at Severus and smiled, “Yes…I want you to be happy Sev…and I think Lucius will make you happy.”

Lucius smiled happily and gave Severus’ hand a squeeze. Severus squeezed back and smiled at Harry. The silence surrounded them all again, and Harry was trying to think of what he was feeling, when it hit him, he was jealous. He wanted to be in a very serious relationship, with one Draco Malfoy…but there was a deep sinking feeling that Draco was going to tell him no, reject him. Harry scolded himself, Draco had shown no sign of doing that, and even know he was slipping concerned glances his way.

Lucius stood up and smiled at them both, “If you would excuse us, we have matters to attend to.” And with a nod, Lucius swept out of the dinning hall, with Severus following behind him. When Draco was sure they were gone he turned his head toward Harry with concern, “What’s wrong? Do you think that they shouldn’t be in a relationship?”

Harry blushed again, “No, it’s not that, I meant it when I said Severus deserves to be happy, and that your father made him happy. But…I guess….I have always wanted someone to love me like that, and now it’s starting to seem like it will never happen, I guess I’m just a little….jealous.” Harry blushed again and let his gaze drop from Draco’s face onto the table.

He felt a reassuring hand fall on his shoulder and his eyes shot back up to Draco who was smiling at him, “I think that you will be loved like that Harry…very soon.” Draco leaned in a gave Harry a gentle kiss before standing up and motioning for Harry to follow him.

Author’s Note: This chapter is shorter than I would’ve liked, but I have to get up early tomorrow and I am still up for some reason. WHY CAN’T I SLEEP. It *could* be because I have a slight case of insomnia, but I’m too damn lazy to go and take the damn sleeping pills….damn laziness. Someone should move in here that will do every thing I say!
