Thrnbrooke: I’m glad you are enjoying this, thank you. And yes they are perfect for each other, you’ll find out soon why.
Night the Storyteller: If one day stands for ten, it stands to reason that the pregnancy will follow the same time line. Don’t forget, they only have two more days to go. It is nice that you pay so much attention to detail. Thank you.
Now on with the show. Hold on tight boys and girls, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.
Bonded or something?!
A blinding burst of energy shook up both Realms and many wondered what had caused it.
Severus and Eve were talking to the group of Elders from White Elm, when the burst occurred and Eve smiled sweetly, as she recognized it.
It seemed both princes had followed through on the second stage of the bond.
The other Elders at the table forgot for a moment that they were in the middle of discussing the pros and cons of a bonding between their king and Eve.
Some congratulated Severus with his son’s successful bonding stage, while others kept eerily quiet.
Nodding graciously to the well wishers, Severus also kept count of the ones that did not extend their best wishes for the future of his son.
There were particularly two Elders that looked rather dismayed with the occurrence.
Severus decided to nip the feelings of ill will in the butt.
Standing up, Severus looked straight into the faces of the two Elders and voiced his question.
“Could you explain to me why you did not extend your well wishes to me, on the subject of my son’s commitment to become Peredhil
Elder Sycamore frowned and answered “My liege, I can not answer for Elder Willowtears. However I can tell you I am not very confident about your son’s choice. We have been at war for many years with the other Realm and it could prove difficult that the prince has chosen a mate from said Realm. It is not that I wish harm to befall the young prince, but I am somewhat reluctant to think that the Realm of Blue Oak will be very accepting of our prince in their midst”
Elder Willowtears snorted at that and cut in “I could not care less if mister Potter will be accepted or not, for my son should have been next in line, after our “king” denounced the throne. This whole history leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. Having that said, I would now care to express my wish to leave” the Elder declared and started to get up.
“Do not let him leave, Sire. He has much to answer for” The voice of FeyholdMairn whispered to Severus in a pressing manner.
Knowing that the Mairn only interfered with good reason, Severus said: “Elder Willowtears, there are some matters to be discussed between the both of us. Kindly remain in this Realm, until those matters have been addressed” making it abundantly clear the Elder did not have a choice in the matter.
The Elder nodded his head in acquiescence and walked away from the table.
Severus wasn’t a fool by any means and he sent out a thought to his most trusted warriors, to keep the Elder inside the Realm.
Somehow he had the distinct feeling that, whatever it was the Elder had done, was something to do with Harry and he was going to get to the bottom of it.
“Elder Sycamore? Are you certain our prince will not be welcomed in the other Realm? Or is there something else plaguing your mind?” he asked calmly, while sitting down at the table again.
The Elder had been looking pensively at the retreating back of Elder Willowtears and was startled when he caught a glimpse of a thought from the other.
Turning back towards the king, he said “By no means am I certain, my liege. However, there is something else, that has me worried. I know for a fact there a quite a few of our own warriors, that bear ill will towards you and your son. Especially now the both of you have decided to take on a new mate from the other Realm. As I was looking at Elder Willowtears, I caught a part of a thought. Sire, it may be nothing, but is there a possibility that your son is on the birth grounds of our Founders?” the elf asked a bit anxiously, making Severus stand right up again.
Only their Watcher, Lucius, Narcissa and he were supposed to know that.
“How do you know of the whereabouts of my son?” he asked gravely.
The Elder paled considerably and stuttered “My k-king…W-Willowtears…h-he knows, sire. His son is a first class tracker and the boy tracked down our Watcher, when she took off with the princes. I touched Willowtears’ mind for a brief moment and saw an ambush being planned”.
Severus began to pace in front of the High Counsel and thought about how to handle this.
Well, there was nothing for it now. He had to ask Lucius and Narcissa to come to the Realm.
He was about to send out an urgent request to them, when Eve spoke up.
“Severus, I have taken the liberty to extend an invitation to my king and queen. I hope this is satisfactory?” her tone was serious and a bit worried.
Severus nodded and hoped his friends would arrive soon.

FeyholdMairn
The two princes woke up, feeling refreshed and well rested.
After their strenuous activities from the night before, they felt they deserved some rest.
“Good morning, my morning dew. How are you feeling?” Draco asked courteously.
The soft smile on Harry’s lips told him everything he wanted to know.
“Ever the gallant one, you are, my skilful bowman” came the flirtatious reply.
Draco lay on his side watching his mate, as if mesmerized.
He couldn’t get enough of Harry, no matter how often he saw the beautiful black haired creature.
There was something about Harry this morning that seemed a bit different.
Not in a bad way, more the opposite really.
“Harry? Is there something different about you today?” Draco asked curiosity evident on his face.
The secretive smile he received wasn’t very reassuring.
What was it, Harry was not telling him?
Draco tried to look more objectively at Harry.
Harry still looked like last night, so they were really Peredhil then.
Okay, so what was different about Harry’s looks now, in comparison to last night?
Erm…his eyes shone? Nah, they have always done that, even as a kid in school.
What then? His skin glowed? Nah, that was kind of nor….what!? Harry was glowing?
“Harry? Why are you glowing?” Draco asked incredulously.
The secretive smile broadened and Harry took Draco’s hand to put it on his stomach.
“That’s why, my love” Harry said softly.
It took the blond haired warrior a few seconds to work out the meaning of that action.
“What do you mean? Are you saying…? You mean we…? Huh?” he asked stumped.
“Uh huh…” Harry nodded.
“But…but…after just one time? I mean…how?” Draco asked again, utterly failing to string together a coherent sentence.
Harry snickered and said “Only one time? Are you certain? And as to how…do you need me to tell you about the birds and the bees?” laughing out loud, when he saw the look on Draco’s face.
“No, you git. I know about that, but you must admit it is rather mind boggling” and after that statement it seemed the true meaning of the situation penetrated the blonde’s skull.
He let out a shout of joy, pulled Harry from the bed, swung him around and yelled “We are going to be parents!!!!!”
“We know, Great One. Congratulations to the both of you. A word of advice, young prince. Do not let your mate out of your sight this whole day. Trouble is brewing and it is heading this way, beware” The Mairn said warningly.
Draco stopped dead in his tracks and he put Harry down, while asking “What do you mean? Are there more dominants coming?”
“A different kind of warrior, they are. Set out to destroy you and your loved ones” Came the whispered reply.
Shit! It sounded like they were in big trouble.
Sending out a thought towards his father, Draco was answered immediately.
“Whatever you do, Draco, do not go outside of the barrier of the Mairn. We are coming as soon as possible” Lucius sent to his son.
Draco discussed the situation with Harry and they both agreed to stay within the barrier, no matter how much they were provoked.
It was no easy task, especially for Harry, for he was not wholly bonded to Draco yet and because he was now with child, it could prove to become a complication.
Subs were even more dangerous when their children were endangered.
Draco took Harry back to bed, to make love once again.
He gathered, he should take advantage of the situation, while he still could, though Draco’s decision also served another purpose.
He knew it would calm Harry down, if the tension was being dispersed through their love making.
A calm Harry was easier to handle, than a tensed up one and less scary too, he thought amused.
Maybe because it was the second time, their movements were less frenzied, almost languid.
Lazy kisses were exchanged, while their knowing hands moved over each other’s bodies, recognizing the most sensitive spots.
Draco entered Harry unhurried, although Harry was losing his patience quickly.
Going in a slow pace, it took much longer for the two men to reach their completion, but when they did, it was with more intensity than the night before.
Exhausted they fell asleep with their arms around one another, blissfully unaware of the change that would soon be upon them.
Harry woke up several hours later, with an intense feeling of unease.
He didn’t know why he felt the way he did, but whatever it was that had startled him was something serious.
“Harry? Can you sense me?” his father’s voice entered his mind.
“Dad? What is it? Are you alright?” he asked in a scared voice.
“Yes, but a group of warriors is heading your way and they mean to kill you and Draco”
Draco woke up after hearing Harry’s outburst in his head.
“What is it, love? Tell me”
Harry looked at Draco menacingly and the blonde was scared to see, that the eyes of his mate had become a deep indigo blue.
This was something new and certainly not in a good way.
Draco prayed to every Deity he knew, he was not the object of Harry‘s dangerous thoughts.
That they were dangerous was as clear as day to Draco.
“Uuma dela. Ta naa’uma lle sereg lye faroth” Harry said in a hollow grave voice.
It sounded like nothing Draco had ever heard before.
He thought about the words “Do not worry. It is not your blood we crave”
Why had Harry said ‘we’ and what did he mean by craving blood?
What was it again the Mairn had said? Don’t let him out of your sight.
Hmmm, did it mean Harry was going to do something stupid, if Draco didn’t watch out?
What the hell was he thinking? This was Harry…of course he was going to do something stupid!
“Mairn, I need help and fast. Something is wrong with Harry and I don’t know how to stop him” he sent frantically to the trees.
The blinding light of the night before was next to him in an instant.
There stood another woman, she was much younger than the one from last night, but there was something familiar about her.
She now wore hunting gear, but Draco knew it had to be the same person.
She pointed her finger between Draco ‘s brows and said “Remember”.
Images of a time, long forgotten, flooded Draco’s head.
Two elves were fighting, it looked and felt familiar.
It was like looking at his own fight for dominance with Harry.
The image shifted and the two elves had gone from the Mith’quessir stage, into the peredhil stage.
It seemed fine to Draco and he wanted to say so, when the image shifted again and there was one of the elves, with indigo coloured eyes. At that Draco started to pay close attention.
The pregnant elf seemed to receive a provocation and jumped up to leave the barrier of their safe place, when the other elf wasn’t watching.
That’s when it happened, the sub left and the dominant had to go after him to get him back to safety, but faced with a very large group of warriors, the dominant made a run for it and was instantly killed by the sub.
Subsequently the sub lost the growing child inside and was free game for the group of warriors, because his scent became overly powerful, enraging all the warriors that weren’t bonded, meaning every one of the warriors in the group.
He fought with all his might against every elf that came near, but the group was too large for the sub to handle, he was soon overpowered and it resulted in multiple rapes and beatings.
The sub turned into a ghost of his former beauty after that, never being able to trust anyone again.
Draco gasped at the images and swore to himself he would do everything to defend his mate.
When the blonde regained his bearings, he noticed Harry was getting tense.
He was about to ask what was happening, when he felt a power surge go through the Mairn.
The woman in hunting gear said “It is happening, don’t lose him this time, child” and she ran towards Harry, who was about to jump through the barrier.
Draco was just in time to grab a hold of Harry and carry him away from the barrier as fast as he could, while Harry was struggling in his arms.
“Let go of me or I will strike you down” Harry growled.
Although Draco was scared out of his wits, he knew it was imperative to keep Harry with him.
“I will do no such thing. We will wait until help arrives” he said in an even tone that belied his inner turmoil.
He kissed Harry on his temple, hoping to distract his mate a bit, while he sent a message to his parents and godfather.
He received an answer from Severus that they were on their way.
“Your father will arrive at any moment. Until he does and no sooner, will I let go of you” he stated to his struggling lover.
“Amin anta ‘a auta!!!” Harry screeched and fought harder to get free.
“You need to go? Where do you need to go to?” Draco asked surprised.
Harry seemed to deflate at the reasonable tone and answered; “Amin caela n’noa”
How odd, Draco thought, he is adamant that he has to go, but he has no idea where he needs to go.
Voicing his question to the woman, she answered; “He is being summoned, child. I do not know by whom, but rest assured it will not come to pass. Your mate can only leave, when he has no physical connection to you anymore. Just hold on to him and all will be well soon enough”
And then Draco made a grave mistake, he relaxed a bit and Harry broke free.
“NO, HARRY, NOOOOO…” he screamed at the top of his lungs, but Harry didn’t hear him.
Draco jumped up and ran after Harry as fast as he could, but to no avail.
Harry jumped through the barrier and Draco had no other choice, but to go after him.
Draco had a strong sense of déjà vu, when he saw them, just as in the images he’d seen.
The group of warriors that had come to kill him and his loved ones.
Well, if Draco was one thing, it was a Malfoy and Malfoys did not run from a fight.
His rage never had been so all consuming, as it was right now.
He turned into a Ithil’quessir, a Moon Elf.
He was in a full blown blood rage now and there was no conscious thought left in his enraged brain.
Harry had grown into a Amrun’quessir, a Sunrise Elf, also in a full blown blood rage.
Where Harry ‘s hair, claws and eyes were indigo blue and his skin glowed golden, Draco ‘s hair, claws and eyes had turned silver and his skin glowed a pale blue.
Some of the warriors fled from the two creatures, scared for their lives.
Never, in their wildest dreams, had they encountered such beings before and even though Elves were not known for their cowardice, those two looked like they weren’t worth risking their hides for.
Their escape wasn’t long lived though, for an unknown huntress had shot them down with her arrows, with lethal precision.
No matter how hard the warriors tried to capture the woman, she was always two steps ahead of them and she killed several others.
Harry felt a thrum being sent his way and he turned towards the source.
There was an Elder there that seemed to be orchestrating this whole situation, he could feel it.
Without being able to think, Harry went on instinct alone and tried to attack the Elder.
Before he could get near the man there was a group of five warriors blocking his way.
He made short work of them, slashing their throats as he pushed onward.
His path was blocked again, this time by a group of twelve warriors, who tried to grab his arms.
Harry was having none of that and grabbing one by his hair, he started to swing the elf around like an oversized club, knocking the attackers down effectively.
Draco stood with his back to Harry, to defend his mate from being attacked from behind.
One bold elf jumped forwards, only to be beheaded by Draco ‘s claws.
Licking the blood from his left hand, Draco looked at the elves in front of him, taunting them with his actions and sending out powerful thrums himself.
Being a Moon Elf had it’s perks, for sending such thrums made the receiving attackers feel nauseated and it weakened their defences.
It was almost too easy to tear them apart, when they were feeling like that.
For Harry it worked somewhat the same, but instead of making the attackers feel nausea, he made them feel as if they were on fire on the inside.
It worked to distract them and Harry copied Draco’s actions, liking the feeling of power it gave him.
The Elder was not forgotten by Harry and he made his way towards the elf once again.
Before Harry could take a step, Draco cried out; “Ta naa neuma!”, making Harry stop right away.
His head cleared for a moment and he understood Draco had shouted that it was a trap.
He walked backwards towards Draco, until he felt his mate’s back to his.
“Draco, clear your mind. We have to get back” he sent in private.
“No child, you have to stay and finish this now, or history will repeat itself. Your loved ones are near and they have come to help. Hold on a little while longer” the huntress whispered.
It was the last conscious thought Harry understood, for a warrior had come too close and was pointing a mean looking dagger towards his stomach, clearly with the intent to stab him.
The blood rage rose to an all time high and Harry grabbed the warrior by his throat with one clawed hand and began to skin the elf alive, literally.
Draco waited for another elf to come closer and when the warrior got too close, he grabbed the elf by the front of his tunic and scalped him, leaving the warrior only the skin from his shoulders down.
Piercing the artery in the warrior’s neck, Draco threw him away as if the elf weighed nothing, so he would bleed to death.
“Harry! Draco!” Severus called out.
The two princes came to their senses enough to answer, but were soon lost to their blood rage once again.
Severus realized it was a good thing he had brought along his own personal guard, when he took a look at the massacre that was taking place.
Although his son and godson did not appear to be injured, they did seem to be tiring.
No wonder, if one took time to count, there were over sixty elves dead on the ground.
Severus ordered a few of his men to capture the escaped Elder.
He would deal with that pitiful excuse for an elf later, but first he had two princes to save.
Lucius, Narcissa and Eve had come too and they all took a stand against the traitorous elves.
The Mairn knew it was time for her to leave and returned to her beloved trees.
Severus cut an impressive figure, while doing battle.
He took out no less then four elves in one downward cutting motion, wielding his sword like the true swordsman he really was.
Lucius was just as skilled, as Severus and together they made a formidable couple.
Narcissa was not a fighter, but she was the best healer known to walk the earth and it showed.
Eve was more of an archer and her arrows were just as lethal as the unknown huntress’ had been.
After the last of the attackers had been captured, they all went inside of FeyholdMairn to bathe, eat and sleep, for tomorrow would be a busy day.
