the incident
Chapter # 14: (the incident)
A five month pregnant Harry Potter awoke around nine o’clock to find a note from Draco written on the mirror of their bathroom. Draco had taken to staying in Harry’s rooms, Severus didn’t protest. What was the worst that could happen now? They were already going to be parents.

I left early for class, take a nice hot shower and
meet me in the great hall around noon for lunch.

Harry did exactly as the note had said, he took a shower, since he didn’t like taking baths in their huge tub by himself. Then after dressing he went to the library to check out a book before meeting Draco for lunch.

After eating Harry and Draco left to go to potions, a class his dad was thankfully letting him take only some days. Harry and Draco were standing at the top of a set of steps just outside the great hall when someone yelled at Harry. Harry turned to see Seamus and Dean. Harry remembered that the boys didn’t really like him, they had said that he had gone and got himself knocked up just for attention and to keep Draco at bay, that it wasn’t even Draco’s baby.
“Hey Potter, where do you think your going?” asked Seamus.
“to class what do you want.” Said Harry in an angry tone, he just wanted to be left alone with Draco. This wasn’t the first time that these boys had caused Harry and Draco trouble.
“oh, a bit of an attitude. Well we can’t have that, now can we?” said Seamus pushing Harry in the Chest with his index finger just hard enough to make Harry move backwards.
Draco had stepped in but was being occupied by Dean.
“stop that!” Harry said to Seamus hoping that the boy would stop and leave him alone.
“oh poor little Potter not like it when I do this?” he said pushing Harry harder.
Then Harry felt the floor under his feet disappear, he tried to grab a hold of anything but all he could reach was Seamus’ Robes. So they fell over one another, hitting each step hard.
When they reached the bottom Harry Had landed on his back and Seamus had landed on top of the pregnant teen. Draco rushed down the stairs, hopping that Harry and the baby was alright. Upon reaching the bottom he pushed Seamus off his lover and asked, “Harry are you alright?”
Tears ran down Harry’s rosy red cheeks as he crunched himself into a ball. All he could say to Draco was, “help!”
As those words reached Draco’s ears he looked up to see that a crowd had already formed on the stairs. Then Draco heard a voice that sounded much like Snape’s say, “what’s going on here, move, get out of my way!” but when he reached the two boys he was speechless and to almost everyone’s surprise fell to his knees over his son trying to help.

Harry was moved to the hospital wing and Snape had gotten Professor Dumbledore to teach his potions class while he stayed with his son. Harry was scared of what was going to happen, he could feel that something was terribly wrong, he just didn’t know what.
Poppy had run a few tests and then disappeared. When she came back half an hour later she didn’t have good news.
“I’m afraid that there is a very big chance that the baby will not make it. Unfortunately because this is a male pregnancy and it is very difficult, there is also a chance that Harry will die. I’m very sorry but there is nothing that I can do, we’ll just have to wait and hope that his magic will mend the problem.” Poppy said to Draco and Severus as Harry just lie there, not believing a single word of it.
“Draco I’m going to go and floo your father and tell him what happened, I think he would like to be here. I’ll be back in about twenty minutes.” Said Severus.
And sure enough twenty minutes later Severus walked back into the infirmary, a very worried Lucius Malfoy following close behind.
“Harry, boy are you alright? How do you feel?” asked Lucius as he approached Harry’s bed.
“not all that well,” said Harry in a raspy, soft voice. “can you do something about this pain?” he asked his dad.
“I’m sorry Harry, but there is nothing I can give you.” said Severus looking very sorry indeed.
Harry finally fell asleep around midnight that night, three very worried people surrounding his bed. He had been getting worse as the day went on and to him there was no sign of light at the end of that tunnel.
