Expecting Ginny

Three weeks passed without a word from Snape. Harry and Ginny were getting a long a lot better. Harry had decided to give her her space over the whole 'snape' thing. He was sure that when it came time to share the child with Snape she wouldn't do it.

Ginny still hadn't gone to file full charges against Snape. Every time Arthur, or anyone for the matter, would mention going and getting to done she would say that she still didn't remember enough of the rape.

Her mind was still forcing it out. That was probably why she was dealing with it so easily. She couldn't really remember what had happened. All she knew was Snape had taken advantage of her.

But remembering the fact he had taken advantage of her wasn't enough to cause her great pain. It was like reading a book and remembering the fact that you were there during a great battle.

To really get the full effect of having been in that battle you would have had to remember to cold air, the smell of dead bodies, bombs falling from the air. That sort of thing.

She didn't remember the pain and humiliation Snape had made her feel when he taken her. She needed to remember that to fully hate Snape for what he had done to her. Yet, part of her didn't want to remember what had happened to her.

Ginny was sitting in her room thinking all of this over when she heard yelling coming from downstairs. She jumped off her bed and ran out of the room.

Before she even reached the kitchen she knew what had happened. Severus Snape had showed up. She could hear her father screaming at him and calling him all kinds of names.

She stepped into the kitchen.

Severus was standing on one side of the kitchen and everyone else was on the other side. Her father was being held back by Bill and Remus. Hermione and Harry were standing there with looks of disgust on their faces. Her mother and Fleur weren't there. Chances where they hadn't got back from shopping yet.

"You sick of a bitch," Mr. Weasley yelled. "You rapist! You pedophile!"

Snape took all of it without a word. He was standing as still as a stone watching Mr. Weasley. It looked as if he was waiting for Mr. Weasley to wear himself out.

"Daddy," Ginny said sternly. "Stop."

Everyone looked at Ginny in surprise. No one had even seen her enter the room.

"Ginny," Snape said simply.

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

"I came to see you," the ex-teacher said turning to look at her. "I wanted to make sure you were alright."

Angry flew through her. How could the man that held her down and stole her virginity worry about her being alright? That made no sense.

"I don't know why I did what I did," Snape explained. "Something I don't understand came over me that night."

"Are you trying to say you didn't act on your own free will that night?" Ginny asked.

"No, I wouldn't say that," he said. "But I will say that it felt like something was behind me pushing me to do it."

"You need to leave," she said turning to leave the kitchen. "You need to go right now."

"I never meant to hurt you," Snape said. "I really didn't."

"Do you think that makes what you did better?" She asked turning on him. "Do you think that saying that will easer what you did and how you made me feel? I wasn't really getting the full mental force of what you did because I was blocking it out. Seeing you brought it all out though. I remember every little thing. You made me enjoy it! You wanted complete and utter control over me. That is all you are! A controlling bastard!"

Snape just stared at her completely taken back. Of course what had he been expecting? He couldn't have expected her to just forgive him.

"I'm going to take responibility for what I've done," he said. "I told you that in the letters. I'll happily go to Azkaban if that is the fate that awaits me. And if I get out of going to Azkaban I'll take of our child."

"You might have gotten me pregnant but you are not this child's father!" Ginny yelled her voice getting louder with every word. "You stay away from me and you stay away from my baby! Now get out before I inform the Ministry you were here. They are still looking for you for killing Dumbledore."

She took off out of the room and upstairs. Before she had reached the top step she heard the sound of Snape disapparating.

Very short chapter I know but I felt this chapter needed to be done. Of course seeing Snape brought out the anger in Ginny. It is 3:40 am as I finish writing this but I don't see any harm in getting started on the next chapter.
